Panthers Depth Chart Surprises! | Bryce Young holding back? | G.P.O.A.T.??

Pan the people what up Julius Peppers in the Hall of Fame we got our first depth chart of the offseason and will Bryce young ever throw deep in practice find out which one of these topics I hate the most on watch Panthers post of Phil Perkins thanks for joining all right let's talk about the big news out of Canton Ohio Julius Peppers has officially put on the gold jacket he's got probably one of the best busts uh that I've seen in quite some time he is in the Hall of Fame he is a Carolina Panther for life Afterlife Forever Until meteor hits the Earth and we're all gone shouts to him uh let me know in the comments below is he the greatest Panther of all time the jaot is he the greatest Panther of all time let me know is it him is it Steve Smith is it Cam Newton is it Bryce young I don't know but uh I still remember as a 15-year-old uh cannot drink even though drinking age of Canada is 19 I was at a Hooters of all places uh watching the Carolina Panthers who I always had an eye on taking on Michael Vic and the Atlanta Falcons and it was Julius Peppers I think either picked off Michael vicer had a fumble recovery and he leapt into the end zone and I was like that man is a defensive end that was the first time I saw a two sport athlete where I was like dang I I could actually believe that that he could accelerate both basketball and football just an absolute beast and if there was anyone on the field that could catch Michael V in full Sprint it was Julius Peppers the latest death chart or the first death chart coming at a training camp has been released there are a couple surprises here especially in the wide receiver Group which we know is is very very crowded but it's all chalk when it comes to the other things that really do matter as well the interior offensive line the outerior offensive line uanu still your starting left tackle Damen Lewis makes sense they're paying the man his left guard despite the fact that he's injured right now Austin Corbett at Center Kade Mae his backup Robert hunt putting on the right side of the guarden then Taylor moton as the right tackle Brady Christensen backing up Robert hunt Chan Zavala he is now the left guard and then when it comes to wide receivers this is where this is where it gets kind of interesting gets kind of interesting so Adam th obviously wide receiver two J Johnson wide receiver won Terrace Marshall Jr his backup he was injured in practice today from what I understand I have not seen nothing on his whereabouts and what I read on the Twitter machine is that some players were on one knee watching and they huddled around Terrace Mar so hopefully he is okay because from everything that I've heard everything that I've read about terrrace maral and seen from videos on training camp from all the bloggers out there who are doing their thing out in Charlotte he he's making the most of this opportunity to impress this coaching staff also this is this is a good thing you want to see this I know we all love zavier Le get and also side note to him foot injury not a broken foot not a strain or anything like that not a sprain they're keeping it day-to-day just keep the man healthy that's all we can care about get him ready for week one maybe some reps in the preseason game later on I don't know what the term is but you want all the boats to rise up we just talked about Terrace Marshall you know Jonathan mango I think was UN fairly maligned in his rookie year you know we had a a carousel same thing that kind of hurt Bryce young in his rookie year first of all you had a quarterback that way too many uh you know people talking to his head we had a coach that was jettison halfway through the season screw up the offensive scheme it's only going to hurt a rookie wide receiver who is completely dependent on who his quarterback is so Jonathan Mingo wide receiver three so in the depth chart it's Deontay Johnson Adam theen Jonathan Mingo Terrace Marshall Xavier liot and so Xavier who is currently hurt right now terce Marshall hurt but you know when you see Xavier on the field off the field this guy looks like a wide receiver too no doubt but he's got to earn his stripes he's gonna earn his stripes and he's gonna do it it's GNA take time I know we we're hyped about him we're hyped about the guy we hyp what we're seeing on the practice field but deante Johnson is the alpha here Adam th also having a great Camp Jonathan Mingo he is fighting off the rookie that's the kind of stuff you want to see because he he zavier lean and maybe Terrace maybe it's jayen poer who is third string uh behind zavier Le at here you want Mingo and Xavier and Terrace you want them to groom each other sounds awful but you want them to to make each other better because when the Adam theeland are gone you need somebody to step up terms of the running back room chuba hubber at number one mil Sanders right behind him Raheem blackshare I think Raheem could could try real hard and he could probably you could put a bet on him that he could maybe supered miles Sanders but again this is practice mil Sanders also having a good practice right right now uh in training camp and so I'm seeing a lot of videos of him bursting through the middle blah blah blah blah but again this is practice we'll see what we'll see what happens when you know they're playing a team that actually you know doesn't they don't pay their paychecks but chuba Hub you see in the offseason could be propaganda whatever you want to call it but the guy's been lifting heavy cleaning like three 400 pounds and Coach Canalis loves what he's doing in terms of running angry Jonathan Brooks obviously not on the depth chart he is physically unable to perform right now he's getting right from the ACL but I could see him obviously getting on slowly but as the season goes on I can see him starting eating snaps from the Raheem black Shar and the mil Sanders out there in the world DJ Johnson he's the first dude no one's really superseding him there outside linebacker it's can be jvon Clowney and DJ Johnson again I know I've seen that on Twitter as well that DJ Johnson's impressing again I know he doesn't look like a Brian Burns like he you know Brian Burns look like a superhero DJ Johnson does not and I understand he's got the caveat of the Panthers trading up to get him he wasn't a sexy name even the analysts out there who let's be real now he's the they are the guys who guide us in terms of how we feel initially when it happens and unfortunately for some guys if they don't have a great rookie season they kind of go back to that instant analysis when it happens on draft day so DJ Johnson give the guy a chance uh Javon Clowney and DJ on the two book ends on the defensive line and again I've said this in previous videos if the Panthers finish in the top five and the top 10 in the draft I see them targeting an outside linebacker an outside defensive end because I think the defense needs some love no doubt it needs an injection of blue collar Blue Chip talent that they lost in Brian Burns but in the meantime DJ Johnson's our guy let me know what you guys think about this depth chart are are you are you excited that John the Mingo is stepping up that he is the third wide receiver on the board it's not Xavier despite the hype the hype meter that Xavier uh has been catching compared to John the Mingo after his rookie would you expect would you assume because they tra they drafted him so high traded up to get Xavier Legette that you would expect him to be the number three wide receiver or a heck if he's the number four what has John Domingo have been doing and because you know it's a meritocracy here is is nothing to do with their relationship to coach CS beforehand because there was none so it's who's showing up in camping right now in terms of the wide receivers Deontay Johnson Adam Thelen Jonathan Mingo they're your guys but let's talk about Bryce right now are we really going to talk about his passing and what he's doing on 11 on 11s during training camp are we really G to talk about that I didn't even know that that was a thing but I'm obviously not in Charlotte and I'm not reading all the blogs because at the end of the day to be honest unless someone gets hurt traded or cut like training camp I'm not I'm invested I used to be invested I'm not that invested just just show me even the first preseason game I'll take that because I care about guys like Jaylen Coker I want to see how he does in preseason you know against live bullets like the do England Patriots if they will in just a couple days but why are we talking about seeing Bryce young throw deep balls in practice and then asking coach why aren't you doing that it just makes us sound stupid I'll be honest he's the coach he's getting paid Millions we are not I guess it's in our right to ask these questions but it just sounds like you don't trust him and it's already seeming like you're planting doubt in Bryce and it's it's training camp I get it and call me a guy that's protective over Bryce I just think it's a dumb topic let's ask if he's going to throw deep during training or during the preseason um you know let's see if that happens and when he does that during preseason are we all going to be happy sure for a second and then we're going to try we're gonna start are we waiting again there going to be a meme of like the amount of days between deep passes over 30 yards by Bryce young like I I don't need to hear that I don't need to hear about I just don't care I just don't care like I just just practice and and I'm just I'm thinking back now I do remember last preseason during Frank reich's first preseason games I think everybody was a little shocked you know this all-star cast and coaching side and the offense seemed really vanilla no motions nothing and I think he even said during the preseason that it's just part of the plan and they don't want to reveal everything I think we even I know I think I even said that that you know what this is a pretty boring offense but maybe they just want to reveal everything in preseason and then it turned out to be that was the offense so I understand so everything I just said I understand that we're all hurting again I started this channel when they traded for Sam darnold and so it has not been easy for anybody and so for us to see Rice doing check downs and doing you know 20 yard dig routes and all that stuff and throwing you know short passes check Downs in the middle and onto the sidelines it's great but we want to see some deep shots and and I get it because of our past as fans but just let's be chill coming up I'm gonna let you know what I think needs to happen during this preseason game and sure deep passes are one of them
