Haven talk to me up front Brandon Courtney fire their Builders but I'm not having you on site you're a snake don't come back on Thursday and the fishing challenge grilled in a boat worth 100 grand for the boys what just happened what just happened tonight some emotional reunions as the block anator returns what's that it's a death he's got to me judging sees the block ends in a five horse race this is insane it's beautiful for goodness sake make our jobs easier and the stakes are high 10,000 bucks from Ford up for grabs there $10,000 worth of Gucci dress and earrings there's also1 ,000 wardrobe upgrade from hayle which turns this week into a $30,000 week oo that's big there's also a penguin in play after Cari and Brad won the Penguin nesting box challenge what are you going to do with a bonus Point penguin for siake [Music] [Applause] that's the way we get by way we get it's just one day before guest bedroom reveal and it's also a very special day for one block in I have Grandy thank you [Music] sorry your birthday it's my birthday I can cry I want 50 um um she [Music] 30th everyone went out of the way to wish me a happy birthday oh you been waiting thank you Courtney this is for you oh baby holy Paige and Jesse they bought us a really nice bottle of Scotch happy birthday M I'm actually Spees I didn't expect anything um so yeah it was it was really cool but what isn't so cool is the amount of work left to do in all the bedrooms 24 hours to T is down we need our carpet installed graphical coming in we need to start painting BLS and curtains going in so much to do but we have Grant's birthday today at 8:00 a.m. at Grumpy's crazy golf golf yes I've organized a game of golf for a few putts and Giggles bye but not everyone is heading to the course Brad and I already knew we wouldn't be able to make it because we were far behind and we were catching up on painting and styling hiting no would' be too good and plus we got all our deliveries so there's so all theirs is getting sent away cuz no one's here yeah don't want to give it to him tag it for him why would we do that unfortunately can't make it to the pot have to stay back in paint so I've had to make the block make the block first over Grant's birthday for this morning yep we unfortunately didn't get to go to Grant's 30th pup putt this morning uh we had a big night but we also had a lot to do and that's that's that yeah what happened to Jess are they couldn't come today yeah they had a massive um dummy spit last night it was yeah it was just in private it was just m how do you know then oh they told me about it I must say I've never been invited to a 30th at 8:00 a.m. in the morning definitely a first time that's for sure we want to go at 8:00 um I mean we can't really do much anyway because there will be trades working in there so we just you keep saying that but I'm going to keep telling you that it takes a long time to steam bed linen I could do that nearly all day to make it perfect so I've got a lot of stuff to do to be honest yeah and we do and we'll make sure we leave by certain time we'll see I think um Paige's emotions just took the better of her and she started saying I don't want to be here get me off this show this blah blah blah was something something along those Lin oh she was just feeling it last [Music] night sorry that at this exact moment I'm at my miss Mom and Dad starting to miss my brothers um and in particular Andrew Andrew and I are really close I said he's my best mate little does Grant know Courtney has organized a special birthday surprise oh my God so his brother I'm getting his brother to surprise him is gr's brother like him no he's very respectful not that Grant isn't Grant is respectful but he's cheeky delivery for grumpy bit of a push to continue on it was so so good to see him so good to see him everybody it is less than 24 hours before Tool's down and the block is in hyperdrive carpets are being laid home Crow are installing the curtains and blinds and graphico wallpaper is going up this season Dan has made sure the block runs like clockwork and he's done it all on his Lonesome k [Music] Fight This Feeling iconico bird prints and they're painting their wavy might attend DIY desk pink to match the shelving yeah we thought we would have fun this week we took shaina's advice on board and wanted to show a bit more personality and the place to do that is a kids room down the road in house 4 Carly and Brad are running a bit behind with most of the painting still to be done today's paint paint paint graphical coming in also we've got homepro coming to do blind so we need to have some paint on the wall before home proo comes Kieran from home prob would have liked to have been in probably a bit earlier yeah he's me mate Keith key good Brad how are you it's kie yeah Keith arrived I've always wanted to meet Keith and because he's not here this year on the Block I I'm not going to miss him after his comments but is that what is this is this is that just an undercat or is that the Finish that's a graphico no he did leave some Savage feed back for me I thought it might have been a primer for something or something like that but it the finish of the wall you're like God she's not very good at painting the graphico looks phenomenal like one choice that I have made that I do not regret florist Kylie helped me with a little floral arrangement for the bedroom nice yeah nice nice nice so we'll wrap these up might actually take both of those back at the blog it's delivery day including nardia From the Block shop who usually delivers the bulk of room goodies the day before reveal that's it thank you done thank you so much appr she's like um like our long lost sister and Santa Claus like combined like she's so patient we've got some goodies your linen yay thank you so much normally I'd meet um I'd reach out to Nadia Monday Tuesday I literally just text through a list of links just to say these are the products I'm looking at if they're not available like what's similar and then she'll call me like literally within half an hour and we'll go through what's available what's not and Nadia then comes out and personally hand delivers them to and shows you exactly what she's bought you what's that that's your side table thank you so much M I really appreciate you doing that appreciate you yeah we've definitely learned that it's only half the battle ordering your things but it's making sure that you do check your things making sure you got the right things when they when they arrive block sh baby I think it's easy to get complacent you know and just leave everything in the Box you know and you don't check until it's game day and then you stuffed which is exactly what Paige and Jesse are learning today as they Place their block shop orders too late really so at the start of the week um Paige had a really great plan in mind for the room and what we were going to furnish it with B the bed head and a lot of the furniture that we originally wanted we couldn't actually get um so we can't get anything from Queensland cuz it's a public holiday on Friday because their big ticket items couldn't be liveed on time Jesse had to do some last minute Furniture shopping during the week so these are the ones in Ivory yes okay and these are available for you right today and now Nadia has arrived with the rest of their block shop orders that's the artwork these are the two drape canopies awesome great over the bed and the little Daisy candle okay we got all the block shop delivery from Nadia which is great so we've got everything we we uh need what are these ones oh pendants great so once I start painting we can um hopefully start Furnishing some which is pretty [Music] cool with their carpets blinds curtains and Wallpaper now installed the blockheads are going like the clappers to furnish and fluff their bedrooms house three are about to J their throw blanket and they're using some cliff notes to get the start in right where did you get your cheat sheet from T was set up for me in the shop it was set up like that by jacket Freedom who's a an interior designer a few days back styling Sage Jack from Freedom visited the boys to give them some hot Zing tips can I ask with the throw right okay there's obviously a few ways you can put it on the end of the do you fold it do you make it look rough CU it frightens me so I always like to grab the center of the throw yep go like that oh you sort of just like and you can like this is your casual [Music] yeah flip that you're running you're running a square across the end of the bed Square across the end of the bed how you supposed to work this one right uh don't have think it and you want to create some lers so what you're trying to do with this is creating a bit of like interest in the bed as well just like that to a pick thank you Jack from Freedom um so everything done in the room morning um with can you not my mom it's now suay night we're decorating our our room and like oh where's our seven items and they're not here that 1:00 a.m. call was not Jesse's mom on the phone it's actually nardia from the blog shop and you haven't once told us and said hey um it's delayed in the post you should probably look for something else I told her to have a backup plan for the desk catties yes you never told me that Nadia you never told me that the baskets have been delayed in the post I said to you that they're all coming from Queensland no you didn't all that s of stuff no you didn't um so we can't get anything from Queensland cuz it's a public holiday on Friday I will not have you call me a liar well I sorry I'm I'm calling you a li Li right now do you know where um the lights are you never actually told me hey I'm not going to be able to make it down to P you didn't I didn't have a conversation with you that day when have you Nadia Nadia when have you had all these madeup conversations with me I said to you all of your deliveries will be made on Saturday and then you hung up I'll have the contracts for you to sign on Saturday when I make all the deliveries thank the block I mean boys last week you couldn't finish a room this week you whack a $100,000 bar Crusher in the driveway Bey best of my life mate and I feel as though that everybody has really hit their groove and you certainly gave our judges a challenge today there's 10,000 bucks from Ford up for grabs there's $10,000 worth of Gucci dress and earrings from Kingsman up for grabs there's also a $110,000 wardrobe upgrade from hayle which turns this week into a $30,000 week and might I mention there is a bonus Point penguin in the mix as well [Music] house one Jessi and Page oh [Applause] God this week was a blur we did bedroom number two which we made into a kids room now that I have bought my sheets I see everything so clearly so the sheets are this beautiful kind of Parisian dollhouse [Music] Vibe really plays into that modern Colonial but it's fun because it's a kid well I think we're the only house with a Walkin R which is pretty cool it's a good size little walk-in Row for kids room for sure extra room for the storage of games I reckon y so we're 110% not going to be able to get these no we're looking for chairs and they are from a separate supplier everything's kind of online only we are doing a DIY project so we're going to build our own desk voila that looks like Cherry blush to me I found a pretty cool picture online that incorporates uh like a like a wavy type look it's got all those waves and they got to go lower than this close you know what chairs you using yeah kind of nothing's what we wanted this week I think it'll look good just add that little bit bit of a coastal element yeah cuz you know I like just a little sprinkle we or lose like we're really proud of what we produce so yeah I hope we get good feedback good feedback and I want the win I want the win so you want the win so bad me too [Music] wow Marty walked into your room with a huge smile on his face nothing good and said oh how cute is this China was Bamboozled by the room but in a good way I don't know where to look to tell you the truth there's so many things look at the [Music] the color palette you chose this week is absolutely superb gelato colors and ice cream drips and everything cute the greens and pink with the metal of the brass and the scalloping everything works really beautifully it's elegant it's classy and there's so much here to connect with with little kids they're bringing this colonial theme in they've got you know the beautiful Victorian on the pillows they're trying to create that feeling of an older home but in a modern setting like that modern Colonial it's actually working for them Marty said this room is in tune with all of your rooms you have delivered so far on the Block it's been nailed the fact that they know their style I think is really setting them up for Success on the Block this is a absolutely the next step in their puzzle this is what I want to see and this double wit skylight with two Vues in there just makes it feel higher more ample lots of natural light but because the vux have blinds there it means it's block out at night so they can sleep that's so useful for this room sha noted that for a kids's room she thinks it is a very sophisticated take doesn't feel juvenile no feels very upmarket yeah the proportions though this is a big room this is like you can fit a king-sized bed in there and still be very happy this this is perfectly reusable different utility room like the the amenity in this room is off the charts love the idea of the step- in Kingsman wardrobe I think that is such a smart design idea no doors doesn't make it feel closed in I think this works brilliantly but stepping in Daren saw a problem Oh what we're missing wallpaper here and wallpaper here so this is just raw plaster that hasn't been painted or sanded or wallpapered we've got a little bit of uh incompletion issue there sh I love the idea of the pink desk I love that desk I just want to check can you sit in Shane I think has an issue with the depth of the scalloped Edge well no I mean I can't Quadzilla cuz in the gy even no and like a little kid maybe could squeeze him in if I can get in yeah but I can see you're trying to avoid it I can see your legs going where am I going but I'm in the thing is they could have actually done the skull up higher yeah what it is Marty was full of compliments today for your room Jesse and Paige I'm really picking up what they're putting down and I think bar will walk in here and love it the color palette the finish the paneling the the vux it's a really nice guest room yeah the judg has all agreed that you have served up a very very sweet room that won't date there you go that sounds like the cherry on top of the gelato a great start to the day that's you thank Youk you so [Applause] much the attention of Daya wasn't as as pure and as clean as previous week so look The Styling was probably perfect but then the finishing wasn't perfect so it's time for you to [Music] show House two you ready ready Scotty happy birthday thank you mate thank you for yesterday this week felt like a fresh start we have more of a multifunctional space so nanny could stay could be friends or family obviously tying in that Mediterranean Vibe did I hear a rumor that you guys don't have a builder anymore no that's not a rumor yes we don't have a builder anymore I made the decision yesterday to get rid of my Builders with no replacement no potential builder in sight that's how serious I was about not working with them again and proving the point that I had paid my invoice then we put this similar like recess Walling is what we do in the bathroom where it Curves in and we need to fit off uh the skirting shout out to Zach who's the Builder for house one kind enough to lend a helping hand that's how you create your curve you just get real tight and then sort of bend it in did a incredible job on our curv skirting so yeah I didn't even think that was possible kind of just want to take the bed out and just showcase the room without a bed just about skirting we're going to try and add like nice like calming colors God these are so nice keeping it real Lux I hope the judges walk in there and slowly see all the little details I can confidently say we've continued thetic Mediterranean she got it rolling off the tongue now I just your hand let me take a holid work off if you can she's got [Music] when Marty Fox walked in he said oh wow look at the curves Darren had a chesy grin and said my heart just jumped out of my chest this is special Jan was right there with him today she loved the curves they've got the little curves like they had in the bathroom yeah wow this is insane it's beautiful I love how they have got a completely different color for their artwork but all the earthiness works in with their slight tone of accessories and everything again is tactile and textural Daren went looking for Powerpoints and found them but more important he found that the skirting boards actually curve with the wall that skirting is sexy wow oh that's a curved profile on a curved wall they would have had to cut that on the back like little slots and then gently mold it and then fill it and sand it that's up yeah these guys are Next Level uhhuh an absolute Ely outstanding detail Marty also took a moment to look at the finishes and agrees they very high-end finishes throughout as usual look at the mood lighting in the study Nook they've used that same material for the bathrooms like they're tying everything back in so beautifully it's not in your face but it's just enough to make you think wow there's a skill set here and that's why I love it was really impressed with your room and said for me I'm going to call it early these guys are the front runner they really areon or Marty sorry Marty said that real estate W Mar couldn't stop the compliments so much thought behind all the little details and I think that's what really separates Courtney and Grant's rooms is that they go so intricate and it just feels like a different level of this feels extremely highend well I want to see how intricate the Wardrobe is on the inside we've got our double hang long hang and then we've got this part of the Wardrobe Darren Palmer noted one planning issue got your drawers got your drawers oh not the place I'd put drawers I was going to say I would always put them over there like cuz got the door hereo that let gets left open and that's a lock yeah you get into the room because if that didn't have drawers in it it it only had a hinge that wouldn't block that door yeah so that's actually a bit of a problem Shane I did have one question mark about the inclusions in this room I love when I come across a room that's perfect but there's the details like that that don't make it perfect for me those lights don't make it perfect cuz I find them really odd they feel like spaceships it almost looks like a mistake cuz it's not an obvious height difference it's just enough oh it's not enough for me fair to say she wasn't a big fan of the pendants but back to the [Music] positives 4 weeks in they really understand their color their craftsmanship is Elite and from a marketability perspective buyers will walk through these first four rooms and love what they're doing mhm it's so exciting and I'm I'm obsessed with this house yeah it's hot this house is an auctioneers dream so you can take Marty's comments today as your birthday present from the judges That's it man really really good feedback Marty has been really consistent with our feedback same as Darren sh up and down yeah [Music] okay here we go boys hard to follow that one Scotty [Music] ready this week was bar crushing this is the most unfinished room in Block history to not deliver an onu yeah we really felt like we'd let ourselves down guest room this week is side by side with the guest room we did from week two absolutely pumped we got dunk and the boys starting from pound now yeah dunks the best of the best I'm sort of going to bet you're going to show me a curve we're trying to incorporate our curves um through the house so we're doing a bulkhead curve that comes out off the wall built-in LED graphical wallpaper as like that feature on that wall that's cool that would be cool that's cool we've got our nice peachy colors still quite soft luxurious though you so of just want to jump pillows that's the bed night cheers Jack love the LED light it's going to tie our room together perfectly mate well done and it's over to you for styling that's what I'm worried about I'm hoping that they notice that we're listening to their advice and their critiques certainly feels leave some bounds ahead of the bed one we've done enough to get the win [Music] well done [Music] boys I had to I think what room what house we're in it's finished and stylish like are we in the Boys Room CH was loving the offc center feature wall if you did want a bigger bed or if you want two singles you're not governed by a fixed Bed Head I think think sophistication in this room I first time I think I've said sophistication for the boys I really feeled it and I feel the fact that they're understanding the tactility that we've said about the other houses like you know they got the bay and they got the linen and there's classiness in here I love it I love this a lot it's like me in the bar Crusher Scotty there's detail and detail I love the shadow line between the ceiling and the walls this is lovely between the jam and the wall too we've got that continued Shadow line all the way around and I mean that takes effort it takes time it actually means you've got to have a good Builder that knows what they're doing and plann properly so that you can get your kickboards in line with your wall with the shadow line in between I'm so glad they've got a new Builder this is just levels ahead of what was there before this is streets ahead of every other room they've done so far I'm sure you fellas F this time Marty agreed he thinks the bars will love this direction you are going in I think that they've delivered a room that a bu will walk through and really appreciate and it will shoot well I think it's a really really good effort the only thing would be that you only get one bedside lamp but it is a guest room and it means that they can bring in this beautiful curve which actually gives the room a bit of Personality sh's only concern this week is she wasn't sure of the color matching like the committed to that yellow which is just beautiful and it works with all the warm tones but they've gone for the gray tone in the carpet and the gray on the wardrobes and so if you look at the gray with that yellow it's the wrong it should be a warmer tone so I know you can get that laminate in a warmer tone and I know you can get that carpet in a warmer tone so to me it's just their colors Marty agreed he thought the concrete finish on those wardrobe doors was too industrial hopefully that style doesn't go into the main bedroom I think they need to look at reverting back to a more Coastal feeli because that to me reference from this street that is lined with palm trees guys grab it you're the first people own it take it it does feel so holidayish in here that is their look and feel now I think it should be would normally do I really wanted to do a hanging chair from the ceiling which would all kids love a little hanging chair in their bedroom I was actually nervous about it being too close to the window but it TT you out of course it's all right I want them to see that we actually are listening and we're trying to take it all on board we need to win rooms but we have a penguin atle to give us the edge over our competition which I don't think we'll ever need to use but if we get to it would be fun if they say they love it sticking with that if they say they don't I'm sticking with [Music] black like in here this is what I've been saying every single week in every single room because I could see it in my head I could see that just what they're trying to do plus a little shift just a little turn and they would be able to add the Nuance of Timber and the Darkness this house can wear and it feels soft and light and bright yes it seems like you're a listen in too yes yes definitely shy thinks everything connects the fact that they've got the timber floor a beautiful textured rug on top of it that just has tiny flexes of black in it that connects to the Wardrobe and the fact that we've got a black fan and black cans makes it that a little bit industrial but it's earthy because of all the natural Timbers Marty said he thinks this room is incredibly marketable and you are now building a very appealing house I also like the fact that even from the rooms that we've seen when the agent puts the gallery of photos together we've seen some rooms that were a bit Stark and they're starting to really soften up and if they play from bedroom to bathroom to bedroom to bathroom and the bedrooms are softening that entire pet throughout the entire gallery that'll engage the bars extremely well and this is the only house that sleeps seven people so far and these homes are used for holidays getting together airbnbs and the fact that they can sleep seven people so far means that they're one person ahead of the pack and if you've got that in a holiday home where you get the highest rent you get the highest bookage and you really build an amazing investment opportunity sh F you learning about artwork more and more every week appropriately Coastal reminded the judges of a jellyfish looks likey jellyfish yes it looks like jellyfish it was a jellyfish wasn't it no it was like RTI rips in the sand really yeah I I would say that is a jellyfish every day love the texture of it I love its reminiscent of foam on the ocean it giving me all of the touch points and emotional feedback in terms of the materials they've used the forms they've used it feels absolutely right for Philip Island sh I wasn't so sure about putting a kid swing chair next to the window so quite far away quite ins set that window that's not too bad but you've got little kids in here that don't know to stop themselves so what's it going to hit though is it going to hit steel or is it going to hit glass it's going to hit glass it's going to hit glass dou will glaze glass though that's pretty that's pretty sturdy I just would not put this in front of a window come on Sha it it be a it' be a big kid wouldn't be safe it was me Ando Scotty Marty thinks you've really stepped it up gear and delivered a high-end Coastal room really starting to see a house that is starting to feel complete and the rooms are working off one another and this is Testament this is the course that they need to stay on I I think they've done a beautiful job I think they've got the balance right if they wanted to put a bit more black in here they would have still been okay for me they really would have so I hope they feel like they haven't lost their sense of who they are as dramatic people cuz kie and Brad they've had an idea but they haven't been to implement it properly they've got half of it right every week half right but now the feeling and the appropriateness to this location is complete I am so happy that is it yes nice I told you the one room I clearly I can do Coastal do I want to do Coastal no I don't it's a kids room it cannot tie in with everything else [Music] he okay how far you ready [Music] yes this week with a bag of Joy this is a massive drop with the ball for the winners of the previous weeks maybe got a little bit arrogant compac toy that's it to hear that I don't think you know it's not very nice a kid's room should feel fun fun playful cozy alive found what I was looking for but without the bed head and a different color wondering if I could change the color unfortunately it's the only color that comes in no so with the trle bed it came with a bed head but essentially I wanted the end part to be at the head part as well the foot of the bed to be the Bed Head yeah because I've already got a Bed Head I feel defeated I hate my life so in order for them to make that work they had to send us four beds at the end of it we're going to have four teal bed heads that are not going to be used yes and the remaining four bases our um bed heads are like these massive like Cloud looking things that's going to go across the whole back wall then it's going to be the two single beds with a trundle underneath you me take it out yeah unbox that one please and also we have a rainbow yes we have a rainbow that looks cool so that's real cool happy very happy so happy oh my God happy to work with you guys it's good I want the judges to walk in and be like a I love it look how cute I also want to hear and they are back because they think we fell off they are back in business they said that the wheels fell off so hopefully this is wheels back on back on [Music] first thing he said is Christian and MIM look at this bed head how beautiful is that Darren said for goodness sake make our jobs easier another totally stunning room and he agreed 100% with Marty about the Bed Head please look how good this is clouds with a silver lining and a rainbow behind them that's that's the idea of the day this is Magic [Music] yeah Darren said the Starling is amazing everything in here I could say a beautiful and then just point at something cuz it's a beautiful Ottoman and a beautiful throw and a beautiful bed cover and a beautiful bed head and a beautiful little fox on the bed which one this one or that Oney Shanah was still marveling at the color choices in the room I think the color palette is so sophisticated I absolutely adore it that soft color palette is actually Art Deco in 50s but they've actually turned it into this beautiful Modern beach feel and it really works yeah it feels very beachy and to add all these rainbows everywhere without taking it over the top is really clever we've got all these little rainbows and these circles and arches we've got rainbows on the shelves we've got a rainbow artwork we've got a rainbow graphic we've got the rainbow and archers on the bed like to bring all together these references without it feeling over the top Mar thinks the Bed Head is likely to break the [Music] internet this bed head I can say this being a best because this is stunning and this is on the Block shop This Bed Head you'd want to buy it with the LEDs behind it every single time that is so effective it's so magical and Whimsical Mar did have a question mark over the beds the trundle this is a great addition for storage but I'm not too sure if it's suitable for a mattress because it doesn't look like there's enough space here definitely not room I suppose if you leave it in there then you can take the mattress out to another area in the future but you're not going to have them sleeping in here they're not really functional in this space Darren Palmer thinks there's definitely no complacency with this room it's such a beautifully styled room the color palette is gorgeously resolved I love all the textures and the materials Christian Mimi probably got a bit complacent last week and we saw it we saw what happens when you think you're going to win every single room I don't see Place andc see here I just see expertise I see attention to detail high levels of finish beautiful layouts great decisions and design I mean they're back baby that's what we wanted to hear okay that's it I think we've done enough to contend yeah I think we've done enough for the win as well I think it's beautiful it's so cute
