congratulations on this win 12 of the last 13 now for this group what has got this team playing so well at this point in this season I think we're just trying to fine-tune things uh get ready for postseason and make sure that our seatings really good 26 points for the entire bench here today you have two teammates in the starting lineup with double doubles in Elena Smith and Courtney Williams what does it say about how this team is firing offensively I think it just shows why we're so hard to guard we have so many capable uh scoring options and then the same on defense is I feel like we're still locked down so we're really hitting our stride it felt like that defense against Atlanta was that full 40-minute effort how did you feel like that translated over to this game against the sky and feeling you guys down the stretch uh I thought we didn't do as good of a job on defense especially in the paint um this was a great you know uh game for us because they're so big they like to be in the paint so it's good practice and I think we definitely need to clean some things up you're right good practice you guys have been under sized all season long not changing but what is that mentality like when you do face a player like cardoso and and still wanting to protect the pain uh we just got to be stronger you know obviously she's really big but we got to do what we can to make her uh shots really hard and I thought some of them were kind of easy Cheryl said this week you're not looking ahead to the playoffs that there's four games in seven days starting tonight and that's what you're focused on how do you describe the mentality of this team keeping that Focus are you looking at the standings or trying to avoid that yeah I think we're not focused on playoffs but we are focused on seating for playoffs so we want to win as many games games as we can because obviously homec court advantage is what we want so definitely want to finish the the regular season strong looking ahead to the next couple of games you have Connecticut and New York how do you anticipate the intensity of those games again referring to that playoff seaing it's going to be really tough both of the teams are obviously Championship contenders but so are we so I think it's going to be good games to watch see thank you thank you wow
