thanks Dave good evening everybody and welcome along to the carabao cup fourth round draw coming to you live from St James's Park where tonight last year's runners-up Newcastle have beaten the eight tie winners Manchester City Newcastle seriously weathering a storm in that first half and so were we in the Sands hence we have come inside here at the stadium undercover for the draw to be made as Dave mentioned there uh here with us we have two-time lead cutword at Neil Lennon and former Sunderland Striker I should whisper really Don Lennon who's done uh John Goodman even who's done really really well here to keep a low profile so far but I have to say you're kind of in the spotlight now aren't you anyway so it'll be Don and Neil uh who are doing the honors picking the teams out of the hat and before we get underway let's just get a reminder of who those teams are and the numbers to be looking out for so 10 Premier League sides left in the competition the current holders Manchester United our ball number four last season's run is up the winners tonight Newcastle ball number 16 Arsenal ball 11 Liverpool at the record nine-time winners ball number 15 extra in Ipswich both with Premier League Scouts last night they are balls number two and three respectively and ball number five is Mansfield who are the lowest ranked side left in the competition and ties will be played week commencing the 30th of October uh so how it's going to work Neil will be coming to you first to draw the home side as done with your history I think it's only fair that you do the away side on this territory there you go so without further Ado Neil if you'd like to take it away just give the balls a bit of a swirl in there and tell us which number you draw first [Music] number five so out first is ball number five that is Mansfield who of League two got themselves a home drawer nicely done Neil they're gonna play number seven who is Port Vale of League one in round four for just the second time so one of those two sides will be through to the quarterfinals of this year's competition number three Ipswich town going well in the championship really showing their Premier League potential beating wolves last night number 13. and they will be facing Fulham of the Premier League who have beaten Tottenham and Norwich to reach round four number four Manchester United the six-time winners and current holders gonna play number 16. we'll be facing tonight's Winner's Newcastle who have never won The League Cup finalists last season of course against Manchester United so that fixture a repeat of last year's final number yet out next ball number eight is Bournemouth get to win in the Premier League this season beaten Stoke though last night to progress play number 15. they will face Liverpool so Liverpool with a trip to the Vitality Stadium to look forward to Liverpool the record nine-time winners in this competition number 12. Chelsea tonight overcoming Brighton five-time winners in this competition [Music] gonna play number 10. we'll be hosting Blackburn of the championship winners in 2002 on the Graham Sooners [Music] number 14.
