The story with Randy Orton continues to get
pretty interesting, so we’ll see what’s new there. We’ll also check out what’s going
on with Rhea Ripley, AJ Lee, and more Starting things off with an update
for all things related to Randy Orton With Gunther already in Germany ahead of time for
press and other WWE live events, Randy Orton had the responsibility of carrying the last week of
buildup ahead of Bash In Berlin all on his own Randy Orton had a great promo in which he shared
a lot of light on his past accomplishments He noted how the world heavyweight title was his
first world title that he won in the company, and that’s why he always preferred the
world heavyweight title over the WWE title So considering that the world heavyweight
title has always been his favorite title and now there’s a new version of the world
heavyweight title, Randy Orton said that he just had to get his hands on it and how he
had to get his name engraved on that new title Orton acknowledged that he’s probably gonna be
stepping into hostile territory at Bash In Berlin since Gunther is treated like a living legend to
the people of Europe, so it’ll be a difficult task Orton said that he did actually relate to Gunther because the both of them were once
egotistical maniacs in their careers Orton said that he went through that phase back
when he first signed with WWE when he was 19 And now Gunther is going through
that same phase in his late 30s Randy Orton seemed confident about defeating
Gunther and becoming a 15 time world champion So a solid promo from Randy Orton to build more hype and interest in the match,
even without Gunther being there A lot of fans were giving this match some
flack at the start for being a pretty random Raw and Smackdown crossover match, but the actual
story itself and build up has been pretty great You have the backstory of the controversial finish from their king of the ring match where
Randy’s shoulders weren’t on the mat So the fact that Gunther didn’t actually pin Randy for that win does add an
intriguing dynamic to the story And then you have Randy’s narrative
that he just wants one more world title reign with his favorite title,
the world heavyweight championship He wants his first ever and last last world
title reigns to be the world heavyweight title So it’s a great story and will be a great match,
but will it be a happy ending for Randy Orton? Most likely not. It’s just hard to picture
a world where Gunther just loses the world title in his first title defense on his
home ground, just doesn’t seem likely So maybe not a happy ending
for Randy this time around, but he did say he got several more years
left in the tank so this won’t be his last opportunity to grasp that 15th world title, more
chances should be coming down the line for him But now let’s switch focus over to Randy’s second
feud that’s happening right now behind the scenes MGK was a recent celebrity guest
at Summerslam to accompany Logan Paul to the ring and help him out in his match Well Logan Paul recently aired an interview with
MGK in which MGK goes into detail about some alleged incident that took place behind the scenes
before Summerslam between Randy Orton and himself According to MGK, he said that he was by
the ring way before Summerslam hit the air just to chat with Logan Paul and discuss
some of the spots for the LA Knight match That’s when MGK spotted Randy Orton,
who was also near by them at the time MGK said that he remembered how he heard
that Randy was talking trash about him So MGK said he decided to just started cursing
out Randy Orton right there within close distance MGK says that his entire entourage was
confused on if he was playing or not, but MGK alluded to the idea that he
was being serious with Randy Orton Randy would respond to MGK’s
incident story on Twitter by calling him a liar with the extended nose emoji That’s when MGK responded and made the
situation even more confusing and complex MGK told Randy that he has his phone number for a special reason that he
won’t put him on blast about He also said that the WWE cameras were rolling
at that time, so for them put out the footage Other superstars also jumped in
on this topic and added to it Kevin Owens posted a picture
of himself and Randy along with another picture of Logan Paul and MGK,
potentially hinting at a tag team match Xavier Woods quoted the tweets and said
that if anyone cursed out Randy to his face like that then that individual
wouldn’t be here to tell the story So just a lot of interesting remarks
from Randy Orton and MGK themselves, and now other superstars
instigating the situation as well And fans don’t know what to
think of this situation right now Logan Paul’s Impaulsive interviews have
been used before to set up future matches and angles, so fans are wondering
if that’s what’s happening here Is the Randy Orton and MGK drama just some
setup for a future WWE appearance from MGK, or did they go through a legitimate
incident behind the scenes at Summerslam? That’s what everyone is a
bit unsure about right now, but Randy Orton is claiming either
way that MGK isn’t telling the truth So we’ll have to see if Randy Orton
will have a big interview coming up himself where he can provide his version
of what happened with MGK at Summerslam ——————— Rhea Ripley currently has her hands
pretty full dealing with Dominik Mysterio, Liv Morgan, and the rest of the judgment day, But there seems to be someone else who’s
now setting their eyes on Rhea Ripley Aus-ka took to her Twitter to post a photoshopped
image of the Deadpool and Wolverine poster, but with Rhea’s head and her own head
in the place of the two superheroes Rhea even responded to the post
by telling Aus-ka to bring it on So a big future matchup is
being hinted at right there Aus-ka is currently sidelined with a knee
injury that she suffered a few months back Aus-ka did make a quick appearance
during WWE’s recent Japan tour, but has yet to return to WWE television So she’ll likely be back in
a few months time and it’ll be great to see what they do with
she because there is a few options Obviously you have the Rhea Ripley route, she was teasing the match with Rhea,
maybe that’s something we can see But you also have lots of potential
story within Damage Control The group has changed a lot
since Aus-ka was last around They went through some pretty intense battles and
even turned babyface while she was out on injury So will Aus-ka easily convert back to a
babyface and fit right back in with the group, or could she clash heads with them if her
character still has that heel edge to it A lot to look forward to there from Aus-ka ————- AJ Lee just responded to some WWE
return rumors that were being spread
AJ announced earlier in the
week that A&E will be taking her memoir and will be working
on a television adaption for it When AJ said A&E were working on the project, that generated a bit of WWE speculation
since WWE has a close partnership with A&E network and has been airing several
superstars documentaries in recent months So fans were wondering if that could be a sign
that AJ and WWE were collaborating on this project But AJ didn’t let the rumors spread that much,
she instantly responded to the WWE rumors on her instagram story, stating that she’s
working with A&E studios, not A&E network But what are your thoughts on today’s stories? Leave your comments below, don’t forget
