Elon, Dave Rubin Share DERANGED Reactions To Taylor Swift Endorsement

we know that Taylor Swift made her endorsement of kamla Harris official on Tuesday night uh as the presidential debate came to a close and uh you know there were various reactions to this obviously there was celebration on the Democratic side there was some denial and uh cope on the conservative side about the impact that this would have we got into that in our last piece but um one notable uh response was Elon Musk Taylor you win I will give you a child and guard your cats with my life this is going to be clipped separately so in case anybody's watching the clip version they didn't see our previous segment when Taylor Swift endorsed uh she obviously signed her endorsement childless cat lady and posted the photo of her holding a cat as sort of added troll so that's what that is uh in reference to so you know uh a bit of a a creepy reaction here not at all not at all creepy l I will impregnate you and guard your cats with my life so um yeah yeah pretty off-putting but you know his pal Dave Rubin gave him the old yes and this this is one of the best yes ands we've ever seen uh in terms of being a good improv partner in terms of the substance of what he's saying well he'll set this up and then deliver the punchline this clip went pretty Mega viral for reasons that you'll see talk a little bit about how this fits into the cult the pop culture part of this because pop culture is a huge driver of the cultural narrative um well here's the tweet from Colin rug about the Taylor Swift thing and we'll get back to it in a second so as we referenced before Taylor Swift endorses Cala Harris on Instagram after the debate on ABC probably calls herself a childless cat lady Elon Musk who they hate he saw that and he wrote this fine Taylor you win I will give you a child and guard your cats with my life so he's ex he's mocking he's exposing the Ridiculousness right it's like Taylor Swift you are a young pretty girl do you know what the gang members from Venezuela due to young pretty girls talk about it yes ANS talk about a charmer yeah yeah that's exactly what he's saying so so uh you're going to respond to Elon musk's uh creepy suggestion of inseminating a pop star uh half his age by talking about SE Venezuelan sexually assaulting her yeah that's where you're going with this you know um I don't know why that whole the right-wing is weird thing is sticking I don't know why they're gaining traction with that well look this is why you guys get blindsided by these election results in recent years in 2022 this is why kamla kind of caught up to you this is a race that should have been over and done with open and shut I mean this was Trump's race to lose from day one um people don't like you like normal people don't like you and this is why they don't like you like people do not like people who say things like this who say to a beloved pop star right you could lament the fact that she is a beloved pop star but I mean she seems like we just did without without ever intimating uh sexual assault as a reasonable consequence of her existence yeah exactly and you know look especially like Taylor Swift I mean yeah I think it is a sign of American decline that she is where she is I mean she seems like a nice enough person like people tend like she's not objectionable in any way and so when you follow up a tweet where the world's richest man saying basically I will uh give you children if you re your endorsement is the subtext of that you follow that up with Venezuelan gangs are going to have their way with you if Kamala wins yeah this is why you guys are repulsive you know how the libs don't understand that they're repulsive to most people well you guys don't understand that you're repulsive to most people because of things like this now watch how he but watch how he follows this up this is amazing this is this is how tonee you're you're getting my natural reaction because I I haven't seen this oh you haven't even seen this oh wow okay so this is this is how absolutely oblivious to how repulsive he is is this guy actually is pretty girl do you know what the gang members from Venezuela do to young pretty girls it ain't pretty uh so what do we have to do we just keep we have to keep finding each other to whatever extent we can we have to keep waking people up it is the only chance we have in these remaining 60 days waking people up wait that's how you're going to wake people up that's how you're going to whn people to your side by saying hey you know Taylor Swift these gang members do really nasty things to pretty girls like you so maybe you should uh change your mind and endorse Trump you really think that's like political Outreach we have to just keep getting out there and doing the work and talking to people you sound like a deranged creep right now you sound absolutely unhinged and you don't know how unhinge you sound because you're in an online Echo chamber this is why we're going to launch our touch and grass podcast probably next year right because people have to understand the world is not your Twitter you know followership the the world is not the Chats on your YouTube show like normal people see that and are repulsed by it like you don't like you do not you do not reach normal people like that listen you know we haven't really talked very much about this because we've tended to be very focused on the sins of the liberal class and the repulsive qualities of the liberal class because that's more our uh our milu it's more our people they're more adjacent to us so it's all our Focus has always been on criticizing our own side so to speak or to point out that a lot of people that are identifying is left they're not actually left and making the point we don't want to be associated with this um so we haven't really focused in on this kind of thing it's kind of like not being our beat um but I gu to say you know you look at a lot of this rhetoric you look at this whole movement such as it is and uh yeah it is a movement of broken manchildren and it really does make me think of what ironically somebody who's who's very prominent in that space said but wisely on that occasion uh Jordan Peterson I've quoted this before he said if if strong men frighten you wait until you see what weak men are capable of right and that that is what I see in this this this is a philosophy an ideology uh a language of weak broken men that didn't have any male role models that are hurt that don't have any sense of direction um that this kind of rhetoric appeals to you know if you're and this you want to see right here how much what Peterson said there applies you know Peterson at in at more length was saying basically look men have some very dark impulses that Society has developed the these ideologies and archetypes of chivalry and being a protector they've sublimated those impulses into getting men to use their more aggressive impulses in protection of women in protection of children as the brave uh go out and face danger to protect the week um you strip all that away and then you get men who are going to listen to a creep like this talking about sexual assault as a consequence of having the wrong politics and say yeah that's right that that's men that never had fathers that's men that never had Role Models that's men who grew up in a world without men without real men to guide them that's the only way you could get to thinking somebody like this or Elon Musk is somebody to look up to these creepy weirdos man um and this is something else I've been warning about as long as we've had the show what do you think the consequence of blaming everything in the world all the world's problems on straight men generally and straight white men specifically is going to be what do you think that's going to lead to they're going to run to people like this what what did you think was going to happen Dave Ruben is not a straight white man he he's he's a gay white man but I understand the point yeah you get the point um well I mean so much the better then you can say you're not a bigot right um no this guy I mean this guy is not only is he an absolute certifiable but he is also just a vile mean-spirited person I mean he said things about the campus protesters that I don't even think we could repeat on the show I mean he's just he's just a really bad guy and only a really bad guy say he was on The Young Turks right oh yeah yeah yeah yeah he's a why I left the left guy yeah yeah he's got a new home and this is his new thing yeah well and that's another thing you have to remember I mean so many people in that space they're just grifters and by the way just so everybody knows I was talking about his YouTube chat not our YouTube chat we have the best audience as we know we have the best but the point is even as the best YouTube chat even as the best audience online it's still important to understand that we as online people and I include myself among you we are not the norm in the country we are the exception we are the people who are hyper aware of what's going on we are hyper engaged the average person is not the average person doesn't particularly like Donald Trump or KLA Harris but they kind of like Taylor Swift or their daughter likes Taylor Swift they know friends who go to Taylor Swift like she is so mainstream that to have that reaction to have that reaction alienates normal people now if you want to say well we don't care okay well then good luck on Election Day cuz you know who votes normal people you like if you're going to compete in that Arena you have to be willing to compete in that Arena right like if you want to win a majority of votes on Election Day you're going to have to re in the Venezuelan gangs are going to rape Taylor Swift if she doesn't change her mind like you're going to have to tone that down it's just a fact of of life I'm sorry I'm sorry that's upsetting to you exactly we're all red pilled we're not and this is the uh you know this is the sad thing it's uh it's really it's what I said before it's a bum fight in a bus station like who do you root for it's it's it's it's this this flavor of repulsive versus that flavor of repulsive both sides are completely repulsive disgusting uh con artists they're both they're both ne ne neither side cares about you neither side cares about
