[Music] welcome back to Bray birs DFS one of the best places for PGA NFL MLB and NBA news and of course DFS if you don't know by now I'm Walt if you haven't already please like And subscribe to my channel so we have a good kickoff to the Sunday Night Football season this year we have uh the Rams going to Detroit this is another iteration of the golf versus Stafford I don't know Revenge series however you want to call it um so we can just jump into my analysis but before we look at this game we got to look back at Friday Night Football so it was a very very interesting game from a uh DFS perspective we saw some things in the winning gpp lineup uh from the main contest that just don't happen often so first of all we saw Reed uh well it was a 4-2 line of construction towards the e so that makes sense considering their Playmakers and the fact that they won the game but what we saw that was very interesting is we had Reed from Green Bay in the captain spot from the losing Team without his quarterback and your question is how in the heck does that happen especially a lot of us couldn't watch the game because was going to Peacock but if you looked at the replay and all those kind of things uh Reed had a Jet Sweep I mean it was very very impressive so he was actually a able to get one of his touchdowns without his quarterback so that uh Jet Sweep gave him uh what is that 9.3 you know fantasy points that were not connected to love so that is how you had a wide receiver uh in the captain spot without the quarterback so it doesn't happen often but I would say the Difference Maker you know last year my Difference Maker was always that that lower salary player that was the difference between you you know men cashing you know getting a little bit of cash or actually winning a GP and the people that uh you know had the uh the intestinal fortitude to go with narson for the Packers I mean he was signed you know off of waivers like a week before the game and then we had the game outdoors in Brazil so not a lot of you know no history as far as how was it going to be as far as kicking there and narvon who was only owned by 10.6% of people you know got 11 uh fantasy points so very very interesting game from from the eagle side barkle uh Herz and brown were what you would expect you had the running back one and the wide receiver one in the winning lineup and you had Jaylen hers so uh from the Eagles side it was as expected but very very interesting final winning lineup so let's look at the uh highest lineup that I recommended and so I went with Jaylen love in the captain spot because once again I knew that it was going to be a little bit difficult to to figure out which uh Green Bay Packers wide receivers going to go off turns out it was Reed and I didn't recommend him so dos I mean didn't have a terrible game same thing with Watson I mean he did get uh he did get a touchdown but I mean it was Reed's day so if you didn't have Reed in your lineup it it was no way you can get protected from that plus we already talked about it love did not get any fantasy points for that 33 yard uh Jet Sweep uh saquin did his thing as expected Smith I mean didn't have a a terrible day but he didn't get pay dirt and because of that uh he was not in in the winning lineup all right so let's go and look at this game the the Rams versus Detroit and we have a lot of interesting things going on because we have three two-headed monsters that you have to consider when you are making your lineups so you have Amar St Brown by the way I love that uh the show on Netflix receivers just seeing you know how he and his brother you know got the NFL and just how their dad was such a big part of their life I mean their dad was uh I mean he was super strict and you know super on it and you know as a dad it was something I found very fascinating I really liked about it but you have St Brown uh so the question the first of the three-headed monster questions you have to ask is can you have St Brown and Le pora in your lineup at the same time and win a gpp so I'm going to give you a spoiler alert for all three of these uh two-headed monsters you have St Brown and you have leapa you have Gibbs and you have Montgomery and you have ncua and you have cup the answer is yes yes you can play both of them in a lineup but there are things you have to consider so we're going to start with the St Brown and leaport yes they can both be in your lineup uh now how often do they go off at the same time and I'm defining going off as both players getting like 20 fantasy points um on the same in the same game and I'll say that or with st Brown and leaport it's probably a one in five chance if they're both going to get 20 points in the same game which means that there's a four and five chance that they're not going to go off at the same time but like all of these players minus uh Montgomery all of these players get a lot of PPR points those are points per reception you're going to get points just for your player you know catching the ball because five out of six these players are PPR players you can put them both in your lineup but as far as expecting them both to go off that doesn't happen often and when it comes to St Brown and L Porter and the same thing with Gibbs and Montgomery you got to remember that there's only one football so if you're going heavy St Brown and uh leaport it would be insane to put Gibbs and Montgomery in that lineup but or just know that if you're putting one of them one of those players Gibbs Andor Montgomery it's getting kind of crazy plus I mean Detroit has some other playmakers that we'll talk about so yes you can put St Brown and leaport in your lineup and one out of every five times they both both will go off on the same day so then we have Nan cup and once again the PPR kind of saves uh both of them yes you can both put them you can put both of them in your lineup at the same time and there's a little bit better chance there's a one and four chance that they will both go off like get more than 20 points uh in the same game but once again uh if you're going to put NOA in cup I mean it's getting kind of dicey to put you know Williams their running back one in your lineup so this just goes to what I've been what I'm going to say every week your lineup has to make sense so whether you're hand building your lineup whether you're using some kind of tool uh and you're adjusting your lineups or you're just hitting submit whatever you're doing the lineup has to make sense uh we know that the over under for this game is 52 and a half points so high scoring game so basically uh Vegas think said it's going to be 28 to 24 just you know shaving off the half points since they haven't added that to football yet so basically I think it's going to be a 28 to 24 kind of game so definitely a high-scoring game so Vegas gets it wrong games are played once again on the field not in Vegas let's you the Raiders as I'll say all the time but with that being said you can put NCA and cup in your lineup and one out of every four times they both will go off all right so uh the next is Gibbs and Montgomery so here when it comes to running backs and in this kind of situation it doesn't matter who they say the starter is it just doesn't it doesn't matter whe if they say Montgomery is a starter ites doesn't matter they're both probably going to get you know 40 to around 50% of the snaps obviously they get even more than that cuz sometime they're on the field two run running back sets so that's why it doesn't add up to 100% uh all of the time um Gibbs just because of the the points per reception Gibbs is and and DraftKings has it here with a $1,800 Gap Gibbs is a superior you know fantasy uh option but there have been games it doesn't happen as often there have been games where they both go off at the same time but uh it just doesn't happen as often so it's probably like a one in eight chance that both Montgomery and Gibbs will go off at the same time so I would say out of all of the two-headed monsters it's the most risky to play Gibbs and Montgomery so other players once again St Brown I mean this is just ridiculous we know you don't get on Netflix are being all I mean look at these look at these logs I mean I don't have to it's crazy nura I mean rookie of the year so I mean we know about this if you don't know about nura these first three players is obvious um golf I mean very very interesting we just saw last night how a quarterback didn't have to be in the winning lineup and definitely I mean golf is one of those quarterbacks and just the way the offense is set up he can you can definitely have a sa Brown and not have a a golf lineup uh definitely because towards the end of the game you know golf will just put that ball in the belly of Montgomery and just stop you know stop trying to get touchdowns and try to you know Speed the game up a little bit um definitely Matthew Stafford you know um you know great quarterback I know he's happy that he he's with the Rams now even though Detroit is awesome now but uh you can you definitely a good quarterback we've talked about Gibbs you know Williams when he's not injured he can have some insanely great games 30 points end of the season against the Giants 29 points against the commanders 41 points against Arizona and so for him it's just anytime you know he gets tackled and stays down for more than 5 Seconds you hold your breath like oh he's injured again we talked about Montgomery or we can go sub uh quarterback level and I mean the situation isn't as crazy as as uh the Packers because I mean for Detroit it's usually leap pora or St brown but I mean Williams is a very talented player we can see in the playoffs 20.7 points so he doesn't get the same amount of volume because it's I mean really the four people I would say it's St Brown Gibbs Le pora Montgomery so he's definitely uh the fifth a fifth option and then you have Robinson so once again anybody Beyond Williams cup and Thea is it's getting kind of you know getting kind of thin but I mean the thing about it is this is how you win a gpp by you know putting these kind of players in your lineups uh we saw a backup running back you know I like backup running back backup tight ends it's just so hard week one to see how you know running backs are going to you know get their the ball distribution and you know in general as we get deeper into the season these uh videos become less qualitative and more quantitative so there's just not a lot of data we talked about in some of ear videos that just coaches are really hiding their game plans so we saw the importance of kickers uh you know how I feel about defenses I especially against I mean when the over under is 52 and a half I mean it's a crapshoot uh so I mean you know you want to throw throw them into some of your lineups you doing a lot of lineups but defenses when the over under is 52 and a half I mean you can do it so I like Parkinson I I actually like Parkinson Higg is out and you know Parkinson would managed to actually have a few decent games last year even though uh the Seattle Seahawks always rotated like three you know three tight ends but he had how many games he had two games especially toward the end of the season where he actually got over 10 fantasy points so I really like Parkinson you know being that Difference Maker Craig Reynolds I mean maybe they're going to do some kind of crazy change of pace um Raymond I mean I mean they're these two teams are good for a reason they're good because they're really deep on offense so as you start you know making more lineups or just trying to be different Atwell I mean we saw him when he got a chance to start early in the year I mean he had you know 10-point game 17o I mean he had some good games when he had to start so I mean he's like the sixth option on this team but these are the kind of players players that you round out your lineup and make you know kind of like different make Brock Wright they lied last year and say oh yeah Brock Wright's going to be the star it's not going to be leor but Brock Wright is a starter level tight end on most teams that don't have uh leapor all right so let's jump to the lineup so uh this first lineup is a 33 lineup construction with leaport this is a leaport game I'm actually going to keep golfing and I'm fading St Brown which is very hard to do which makes you very different but if this is a game where leor get two touchdowns you can do it I'm fading a cup but I'm not fading Aura I'm keeping in you know Williams uh I'm keeping in Gibbs and then I have the Difference Maker at parason so NCA Williams leapor gol Gibbs and Parkinson I'm fading cup and I am fading brown but with teams this talented you're not I mean DraftKings is not going to let you put all these players in so you're going to have to make some tough fade decisions and then this 42 this is you know St Brown's Revenge putting him in the captain spot with gol and then also having in Stafford and putting in cup and then fading NOA and then you know going with the uh kick kicker in baits and then you know getting saly would right at the tight end spot so let me know your thoughts feel free to leave any comments but otherwise go out there and win that Guap he
