Hey, welcome back everyone. We're still dealing with a lot of that dangerous heat as we head into this afternoon. Yeah. Not as bad as last week or even yesterday or, well, specifically yesterday it was the hottest day, not necessarily last week but 103 doesn't feel nearly as hot, low humidity. That's one of the main reasons why. And you get that southerly wind about nine miles an hour helping to at least maintain some semblance of our right. It's not super crazy out there, but we're still seeing a lot of this high heat, especially out to the east. Big spring up at 106, Snyder at 107. Dryden, Big Ben Presidio all at about 105. All right. We've dealt with it before. We can certainly do it. But you know what, our summer this year kind of came a bit late. But, hey, we're not alone in this b yes, we got a lot of these heat advisories, not as widespread as yesterday, but we're also not dealing with those heat warnings. Those are standing out more toward Abilene and toward DFW where they're seeing a lot of that humidity. That humidity is gonna be a real big factor. So it feels like temperatures for them above that 110 range for us. Well, we're not really dealing with any kind of humidity. There is a bit of cloud cover and a little bit of these pop up showers and storms trying to move their way into Snyder. I'm not looking at anything widespread, less than 10% coverage across the entirety of West Texas. But, you know, it's something we'll keep our eye on just in case anything pops up. Especially with how dry everything is. A lightning strike can easily start a fire and it can spread, especially with temperatures like this. Who not the best kind of, uh, situation here we go into tonight, it's not much better than what we've seen in the last few nights. It's because you get that strong enough wind from the south, southerly flow 15 miles an hour sustained. Yeah, it's just gonna mix a lot of that heat in the atmosphere and prevent a lot of that heat from escaping. But as we head into your Saturday, you know what, it's ok when it's hot at the grill because everything is sizzling. But temperature wise might actually avoid that triple digit mark. Really depends on that cloud cover. You know what I would say? At least half the areas will see triple digits, the other half won't see those triple digits and it's because of that cloud cover, kind of lingering around more so into the afternoon, especially for our northern counties right around Andrews and even Seminole going into Sunday. Well, I don't see that cloud cover, I just see ample sunshine but temperatures are gonna be on the decrease during that time span. And then afterwards we're actually seeing high, higher rain chances, yeah, even above average rain chances for the next 6 to 10 days or, you know, during that time. And you can really kind of tell that on that seven day out other than the drop in temperatures getting down to about 93 to 92 rain chances are being reintroduced alongside a little bit of that cloud cover, which, you know what, I'll certainly take it, especially when a little bit of that rain can help massively decrease that fire risk. Julia. Oh, goodness, we sure do need that rain.
