start with questions for players we'll start with in person uh cam DJ Harding Chicago State of Mind so uh pregame I asked coach W spon about like how you guys how you deal with adversity and she said that you guys don't see it as adversity you just see as playing basketball so I just want to give your thoughts on that um yeah basically what you said I feel like we don't feel much pressure because this is something we love to do and that's something we appreciate when we got there doing we have fun playing with each other so Bally play basketball um what do you feel like you were [Music] doing you [Music] think ex I think just our defense um didn't really do when we talked about doing in practice and the year round and got report so just locking in on that and continuing to do it consistently it's been an issue for us SE so yeah just defensively more person oh um this team it seems like in the second half you guys could it's okay so it seemed like um and especially this it seems like this team what I've seen in past even with the younger players when you get behind a game like this they play hard but they check out it see like you guys in a second you if you didn't see the score you would have thought you guys were up and you were trying to fight keep them going taking game if you can just talk about the mentality the character of this team especially from from a veteran standpoint and also to from from a rookie standpoint just the character of this team it just seems like there's no quit in this team regardless doesn't matter the situation you speak to yeah definitely something that we've been trying to um build throughout the season um not quitting ever I think for us I in the season we were quit we were down like late in the game like fourth quarter um but in our situation we were only down 10 at halftime so we felt like we had 20 minutes to really turn it up and that's what we did in the third quarter so we want to always start the quarter strong especially first quarter in third quarter um and just continue to play hard play for each other and play together yeah um I just feel like we got some dogs in this team and we're going to play hard no matter what the score is and we're just going to play for each other so when we out there we just try to play hard no matter what any more for players in person players only please [Music] back the second half the game it seemed like was switch flip for the team as you said I want to say you guys U scored over 28 points in the third quarter can you talk about the mindset that you were in leaving the team and what was Co what was coach telling you guys so you guys can stay yeah I think we always want to be the aggressors in the game so how we want to start the game we always want to punch first um I thought we did a good job of that to start the game in the first quarter and then like I said in the third quarter we always want to um start that quarter well as well so I think for us like staying confident staying aggressive being the aggressor um and just keep them on their toes which is what you saw when we were getting into the paint We were finishing looking offensive rebounds um Cam and Angel playing hard they were helping us out defensively for sure as guards um and we were just like figuring things out and that's what coach wants us to do as a team we kind of she wants us to figure it out together figured out in game action in live game action so that's what you saw any more in person all right move to zoom Kyle uh yes um just kind of you guys are really started locking down in that third quarter and that fourth quarter what kind of spurred a defensive turn around after there half time um just being disruptive that's what we always want to do um is say you saw a little bit of that you know we're disruptive and we get them the Miss shots we get we rebound and we can just run um and we keep the defense all balance in that way Carly please unmute for players only uh Camila how would you assess the growth that you've seen out of your game especially your shot range um in the second half of the Season we've just seen you take more shots that are not just right around the rim is that something that you really worked on and is that something that we're going to see later on this season um yeah that's something I worked on and my teammates and my coaches showed me so much confidence so they may feel comfortable just start shooting then reach thank you last question for players from Mike please unmute hey guys appreciate the time my only question is for Lindsay you talked about how you pride yourself and watching film and preparing for your guards defensively assignments throughout the year um you know this is your first time playing against marinas since just been traded and I'm wondering is there a difference between your preparation whether that's watching film when it's to someone you've played with the entire year up to this point um no it's not different and I think with Marina it's kind of a special situation because I've been kn years obviously went to college together um so I've known her since 2014 2015 whatever it's been even before with her sister I know her name so I think I've just been knowing her game for so long um and obviously she's improved and gotten better but um just been watching her obviously on the same team hasard the season for a little bit so yeah it's not much different thank you thank you players thank you
