in uh you guys almost had the shut out but played really well how would you evaluate how the defense played today uh I mean not our best word but uh you know we can't we can't treat any team likely and or lightly and I don't think we did that but um you know we just got to fly around and um you know keep getting better every week you look at the first half they did a lot of running just for you at your position at safety what's that like adjusting to a team that is really attacking on the ground what do you have to kind of change yeah I mean we got to fit fit when we need to and uh and be ready to come downhill but we also have to um get our eyes right in case uh you know they try to take a shot so um you can't be guessing but um you know you just got to you got to play play with the right eyes and play with the right technique you look at this defense two games around y have only given up three points where do you feel like you guys still need to grow where are you looking for improvement going forward I mean we need to keep growing every day um you know the last 5 years I've been here you know we we we grow week by week um you know we're not stagnant we're not happy where we are right now um we never are but um you know we just got to keep keep keep flying to the ball and uh we got to get the ball out on defense more we got to create more turnovers and uh and tackling and and everything Carson had five touchdown passes what's it like at practice going up against a quarterback like that and and the challenge he's he uh it's like you said he's a CAU to baller and uh you know you know you're going to get his best game and um we're very thankful to go against that in practice cuz um you know it makes us a lot better all of our receivers guard uh you know it gives us complete confidence during the week to do what we need to do hey all offseason you talked to Malachi you talked to T everybody was talking about you in the year that you were going to um tell me kind of what went into this offseason and how you felt like it's gone so far yeah I mean really like every other one but I'm just blessed to be healthy and uh thankful to be out here with the guys um you know and just we put in a bunch of work in the offseason and we talked about it today like we're only guaranteed six home games so I mean that's you know we we never want to take any of these politely and uh I'm just thankful to be playing with these guys and uh give our best for
