had two sacks in today's game Sheldon rankins he had one Jonathan granard and Malik Collins shared one or a half sack bringing the total to two as part of sacks for Hunger HB will donate $1,000 to the place today Dre you talked about it this was your guy 15 tackles career best for him two tfls and it's not like he hasn't showed up before had the pick against Jacksonville a few weeks ago two pass breakups big day for him and a big day for the defense really holding the Saints to 13 points is a big accomplishment to use the word big a lot it really is because uh of all the Firepower that the Saints have and to keep them in check uh keep the constant pressure on Derek Carr throughout most of this game I thought the rush rush defense as well when you look at camra being held to just 68 yards or so on 19 carries uh that was phenomenal and I thought that was the main key coming into today's game that they would have to get a handle on him keep him in check and and uh they didn't let him get going they didn't let him get it going and CH had seven catches 36 yards if you told me that before the game I would think all right that sounds like a win did they move the ball well enough though the Texans they did to get the 20 points your thoughts on the offense though and missed opportunities what they need to work on to get better because you know this is one of the things Deo Ryan is going to be talking about during the buy got to be even better on offense can't rely on 13 points surrendered each and every week yeah it's going to be the first thing I think he's asked about in the press conferences uh Red Zone scoring and so when you get down there and especially you get it inside the 5 yd line you're looking to pound it in or figure out a way to get the ball into the end zone and on a couple of occasions they weren't able to do it that be the first question that he's Fielding today and one of the first things that they go to work this week and working on is Red Zone Red Zone scoring but what a performance overall 20 to 13 they defeat a hot Saints team that was coming in off the blowout over New England a lot of confidence coming in I don't remember a game in recent history I me there have been some wins but um that I was this engaged and excited and all the way through for 60 minutes for 60 Minutes of the entire football game where you were sitting on the edge of your seat when the saints got the ball back and they hit a couple of big plays and then all of a sudden the defense started to rise up uh it it was an entertaining game and and fun to be a part of absolutely the pressure the tension amazing and they make the big plays at the end on D when they had to and a play on offense when they had to kill the clock and the threat for good and get guys were all one you had great great plays throughout what was the key to keeping them out of the end zone the number of times you did man just Relentless being relentless man and you know just you know just trying to you know stop that air raid as as much as possible you know and be on top of our keys man and uh you know just fight to the end as you saw it came all the way down down to the end I don't love comparing years but this is a game I think in Prior years Stephen you don't win but you w it today was there something special about this team where today that you guys end up getting the that's the hard work we put in man throughout the week throughout this offseason man uh you know to be able to persevere and and fight through adversity uh we already put the work in for it so uh when it happen you know it's not not a big deal you get the win going into the bu I don't know if you guys were thinking about that but does that make the vibe that much sweeter that you get the W and you're sitting at three and three going into it absolutely man uh you know you know nobody wants to go to the B you know think uh with that with that loss on your mind and it doesn't feel better uh that's good so you know obviously with with the win three and three you know we got a lot to uh improve on and you know it feels good Stephen congratulations man thank you for your time appreciate it
