lose a game at Lincoln Financial Field but you have an experience that's International on this stage is it worth it to lose a home game for this kind of event well I'm very excited I'm excited to be here um it's it's a beautiful place and I think just being blessed and and expressing my gratitude to have the opportunity to play in general it didn't really matter where um and we just I'm just blessed in that I think I think my my personal perspective is you know I'm I'm a kid from you know East Houston that used to play this game in the streets um any piece of grass I can find I go throw the ball around and really just enjoy the game the love for the game and just having an opportunity um to to come this far and in this journey and to be where we are I think it's I just have uh my spirit is full of gratitude um to to to be back here and uh to be here excuse me and really just reflecting on how the journey has come for me so it's um it's a blessing to be able to play uh International game and um enjoy this moment with the people of Brazil jayen from K brazili uh back at your combined you said you were a Difference Maker and you truly are uh today you are the ambassador of the football in to the Olympics in 2028 and what Mark do you hope this game in Brazil lives in the country uh so that maybe one day uh four years from now we can be at La playing flag football and maybe one day also having more players in the NFL because today we only have Kyro Santos you just see how the game is has been expanding and it's a it's a beautiful game it's a beautiful game and I think it's it's it's a game that is out there for everybody you know and and I'm just excited to see see it expand like it has and to be a part of that and to help it expand you know so I'm guys it's fun over here Jaylen Deborah from uto first of all welcome to Brazil uh I wanted to ask you a question about how important it is the season opener to get a win we know that the Eagles have had win on the last I think three season openers and you have a totally different atmosphere fans that have waited probably their lifetime to see a game like this so how important it is to get a win on the season opener to set the tone for what the season is going to be thank you it's it's very important it's very important to come out strong to come out fast and we're playing against a really good team but just the opportunity in front of us um a big test and being able to focus and lock in and play as a team I'm I'm excited to see where where this year goes but it starts right now it starts right now jayen danela from from Pink Zone in Brazil um talking about the team and other Chang that happened in this off season like Jason Kelsey retirement flat C retirement and all the change that we have with the coach OC and DC what we can expect think about the last season and think about the playoffs the what happened in the the end of the season and think that uh Green Bay Packers have increas incredible games in the playoffs and what do you think that this change can help the Philadelphia Eagles in this game and for the all the season I think the number one thing you want to go out there and do is play together play as a team that's the most important thing no man that's Island you must draw your strength from the next guy and everyone truly has to do their job for the the betterment of the team and so I'm just excited for that Journey um the new roles the new responsibilities that we all have on this team I'm excited to excited to go to go to work with this group for sure Jaylen right here Adriano from Global um some of your teammates have made comments uh about coming to Brazil their concerns you have been very respectful on the other hand but I was wondering if you had a team meeting about it about what they what they said on social media and uh what to expect and how to behave here in Brazil yeah we'll keep those things uh inhouse but like I said I'm truly blessed and and thankful to be here and to be able to lead this this team U like I said I'm a kid from from East Houston playing a football game American football game in South America I mean it it's it's Sur Real but um I have a ton of gratitude for the opportunity end the moment hey jayen one thing that always stood up in your game was your leadership uh let's last year things started great with a 10 inone record but finished with six losses in seven games and an early ACD in the playoffs so how do you as a leader deal with this situation in order to reestablish your team's confidence thank you yeah no that's a great question I think it's about playing as a team truly um doing it together as I said no one no one individual is going to get it done on their own um everyone has to come together and play as a team and and I'm excited for that there's been a lot of great hard work that's been put in a lot of um long nights early mornings and and time away from the build and spent to um continue to get better you know and I think in the end um in the end it's all about doing that we've we've had a really good mentality of just taking things one day at a time taking steps every day um having a growth mindset with what we're doing and just embracing it embracing it embracing it so I'm excited to see um what we can do um hello Jaylen josas from flet score Brazil news I want to
