Chris Reed Resignation (Livestream) 2 pm Central

well hello everyone welcome to another live stream this time I'm doing it in the afternoon instead of in the evening I wanted to do this first of all because uh I wanted to get out an earlier response to this and secondly a lot of times people in Europe and Africa or Asia would like to join us and they're not able to because of the uh time discrepancy hold on just a second here have a bit of a delay okay little technical problem I don't think that's uh going to be that big of an issue um like I said a lot of people in Africa Asia and Europe would like to join us today because I'm doing this earlier they'll be able to join if they choose to uh the subject matter is not a pleasant one it's not something I look forward to doing but it's necessary to talk about it we've got yet another moral failure on the part of somebody in leadership let me uh make one more little adment here now I can hear myself better you guys hear me okay um Chris Reed who's the head of Morning Star Ministries uh resigned Tuesday I believe it was from his uh presidency or whatever the position was and um the day after the Roy's report came out with an article about his moral failure now when this uh for those of you who don't know Morning Star Ministries was started by Rick Joiner years ago he's up in his 70s now and uh he turned it over to Chris Reed three years ago and uh the the reason that Chris Reed gave for resigning at first was that uh there was some sort of a a uh sa as we say uh scandal in the ministry and this is something that supposedly happened before Chris Reed took over and um his explanation for why he resigned was that he didn't want to be running a Ministry that was going to be embroiled in a lawsuit like this that didn't make a lot of sense to me I thought well if it wasn't his fault if he didn't do anything wrong why is he resigning um you a lot of Ministries have had lawsuits filed against them um usually people don't resign just because they don't want to mess with the lawsuit you just turn it over to the lawyers and they keep you advised as to what's going on and you continue with your ministry but for some reason it triggered a resignation on his part well I couldn't figure that out thought why if if it wasn't his fault if he wasn't even running the thing if he had nothing to do with it why resigned that didn't make sense to me well the very next day the Julie Roy article was published and now it makes perfect sense because it seems to me that uh Chris saw the writing on the wall he all these other Ministries that have gone downhill over the years Carl lent Mike pickle Robert Morris Tony Evans um you know there's been a lot of people have and that's just the ones come to mind but there have been a lot of people forced out of their leadership position because of a moral failure and I figur he just saidwell sooner or later this thing's going to come out I better get ahead of it and resign first uh unfortunately for him Julie Roy has very sharp instincts and when she became curious about it just like I did she started snooping around and she got the story and the very next day she published an article she confronted Chris Reed on it he admitted that he had uh had some inappropriate behavior with a woman who was a student I think at Rick joiner's school and um anyway I'm not going to go into all the details uh the link uh is uh on YouTube I don't think I I don't know if I put it in Facebook or not but anyway it's on the Roy report just Julie roy.com and you can read all the Gory details there I don't want to get into all that but anyway now it makes perfect sense he resigned abruptly it it wasn't I don't think now he came out later and said no that there was no other reason that I resigned it was strictly because I didn't want to uh have to deal with a lawsuit had nothing to do with anything else well I'm sorry I don't buy that I just don't uh you're the head of a big Ministry this is the job the dream job of a guy like Chris Reed why does he just drop it and run because of a a lawsuit that doesn't even involved you other than you know the fact that you're the head of the ministry uh but yeah I think that this was he was trying to get ahead of the story way ahead of the story and it didn't work out that way uh so uh I try to give people the benefit of the doubt as much as I can uh Chris has made a lot of prophecies over the years that's supposedly his anointing is as a prophet he had a dream a while back about um the um Apostle John supposedly was alive and living in a cave in turkey and would be around during the Great Tribulation to explain the Book of Revelation something like that a lot of people thought that was crazy and I uh I didn't defend it so much as I said uh well you know the Bible has a lot of crazy Supernatural stuff in it uh it it may sound crazy but I'm not going to automatically dismiss it because it sounds crazy but I'm not going to automatically believe it either we'll just put it on the shelf and wait and see what happens with it that was the approach that I took with with uh Chris Reed but at this point now I'm I'm starting to look over a lot of things with the guy I don't like doing this uh usually I come to the defense of charismatics when they've been wrongfully attacked but um you know if if we don't hold our own accountable who will and uh this stuff has to be dealt with so I'm going to go over real quick to the Roy's report and uh read a little bit about this and uh then we'll we'll move on to the prophecy stuff it says Chris Reed CEO and president of the prophetic Ministry Morning Star resigned Tuesday telling the Roy's report it was because he's standing on the side of the victims who are suing the ministry but Wednesday after the Roy's report confronted him with allegations he pursued a woman sexually in 2021 Reed admitted sending the woman terrible sexual texts and kissing her Reed Still Remains or Reed still maintains he resigned because of the lawsuit filed August 7th against Morning Star alleging that the ministry mishandled child sex abuse by a former volunteer leader ericon Lee the alleged abuse occurred before Reed became Morning Star CEO and Reed said he doesn't want to be the face of a Ministry engaged in a legal battle however in the wake of the resignation this is what I'm talking about Julie Roy is sharp in the Wake the resignation the Roy's report learned of the allegations of sexual misconduct in 2021 and was able to contact the woman involved at the time of the misconduct Reed who's married and has six children was the pastor of Morning Star Fellowship Church and in line to become CEO of Morning Star the woman who asked the Roy's report to use only her first name Catherine was s years younger than Reed and a student at Morning Star where Reed was a leader the morning star uh the Roy report has a policy of not naming alleged victims of clergy sexual abuse unless they request otherwise I sorely regret it Reed told the Roy's report I take full responsibility for it it wasn't her fault at all I'm fully fully to blame Katherine told the Roy's report that Reed started the relationship with a prophecy about her the two then met frequently alone and that's when it goes into all the stuff that I'm not going to get into so you can see what happened was the she said in the wake of the resignation that means after the resignation the Roy's report learned of the allegations of sexual misconduct now that's pretty quick because he resigned I think on Tuesday and then they uh found out about this on Wednesday so that tells me that uh her uh Spidey senses took over when she heard about the abrupt resignation she says that doesn't sound right she got the snooping around she got the story I could be wrong on that but that's just the way it comes across to me uh so it wasn't just apparently a matter of him not wanting to deal with the lawsuit and wanting to stand on the side of the victims he had his own little mess that he was dealing with so uh we've got another situation here that we've uh that we have to deal with and it's not pleasant dealing with things uh like this but years ago I'm a little older than most of you I grew up during the Vietnam war and um see the war escalated in ' 64 and then I think the final troops left in 75 and I graduated from high school in 75 so um it just seemed like the war was never going to end but it finally did and uh years later I worked with a guy who was a Vietnam vet and he told me uh I was for the war when I went over there but by the end of the war I didn't think we had any business over there because the people those guys weren't willing to fight for themselves he said it has nothing to do with politics or anything it's just that these guys from South Vietnam that we were fighting with they were abandoning us they were deserting us the en enemy would start firing and bombs were going off and they'd turn and run and he he said we told them look we came over here to fight for you you guys need to fight okay you got to be courageous and stand and fight and don't run because you're scared and they kept deserting and so he told them again you can't be abandoning us okay the next one of you who turns and runs you don't have to worry about the enemy killing you we're going to take you out okay no more desertions and he said unfortunately there was only one home they had to follow through on it and from that point on these guys knew I better stay in fight because if I don't I'm dead for sure these guys will kill me so I better fight and they didn't have any more desertions that's the kind of stuff that goes on sometimes in war but the point is some sometimes the only way to stop something is to deal with it forcefully it's not pleasant nobody likes to deal with it nobody likes to see people like Mike pickle Robert Morris Tony Evans we don't like to see those guys step down but if you don't this stuff isn't going to be dealt with it's not going to stop you have to drive home the point that you can't get away with this you can't be doing this that's the way you live go do something else don't try to be in the ministry because you have to live a life above reproach if you're going to be in the ministry so uh well let me look at the uh chat box real quick and then we'll get back to what I wanted to cover uh let's see where am I there it is okay uh oh there's Jerry Smith good to see you Jerry Jerry's uh a frequent viewer of my channel I've actually had him I interviewed him one thoughts on people with epilepsy uh I'm GNA get into stuff like that later on right now I'm going try and stick with the uh the Chris Reed story flame of the spirit says he should have come clean about it and not make up an excuse like this repentance is indeed important amen amen I mean just from a practical standpoint just forget about the morality of it just from a practical standpoint you start trying to cover up and you you look even worse because then you just look like a total weasel you know just come clean guitar Bob guitar Bob says you might be older but you got a lot of good years left I appreciate that uh you one of the nice things about getting older is that you learn things you know things that younger people don't know and uh you may not have as much energy and strength and you may not uh be as goodlook as you used to be but um you have something to pass on to the next generation and that's what I'm trying to do I'm not going to be doing this that much longer uh I don't want to be doing this when I'm 80 and uh that's only 13 years away from me I figured I'll do this probably another five years years or so and then I'll just become a writer and until I'm gone I don't want to be I don't want to be doing this when my teeth have all falling out and my hair is all gone you know it's my ego I guess anyway uh oh Ian Brown gave me a Super Chat thanks buddy I appreciate good to see you hope everything's going okay with your situation there with your grandma Ian was supposed to join me and Gabriel the other night and he wasn't able to do it because he had to go to the hospital uh his Mo his grandmother had an accident so we missed out on him in the last live stream but uh good to see you here today okay so nothing about the uh the Roy's report in the chat box so uh now like I said I try to give people the benefit of the doubt uh I actually did a video about about Chris Reed's dream about the Apostle John in the cave in Turkey I said uh I'm inclined to believe that if John is still alive he'd probably be living in Miami Beach with all the other old Jewish people instead of living in a cave in Turkey uh I kind of made a joke about it because it does sound pretty crazy but like I said there's a lot of crazy stuff in the Bible Moses and Elijah appeared with Jesus on the Mount of transfiguration that's Prett pretty crazy huh so I didn't just automatically dismiss it but now in the in the light of this I'm looking at all of his prophecies and everything and I'm inclined to believe that uh Chris Reed is not somebody that you would should have ever followed um I've got the link to this in the description but I'm going to read through some of his prophecies here there's what 40 of them yeah 40 prophecies that he gave couple of years ago uh well it was the end of 2022 he gave these prophecies uh let's see I saw an exposure of Chinese money and bribery the beginnings of this will include a major exposure which will begin the downfall of the Biden Administration well Biden's only got five months left right let's see this is the end of August so September to October November December January that's four and a half months I guess until the next president and it won't be Biden so there's four and a half months for the Biden Administration to have a downfall that doesn't seem very likely uh number two the hunter Biden laptop case which was suppressed before the 2020 election is about to be re opened or as is about to be opened the issue will become centerfold in the news and will tremendously hurt his father's credibility and path claims I think most people already knew about this and they already knew that Joe Biden wasn't the most credible guy um he says last year the Lord showed me this would hurt his father to the point to where he will lose power and be out of office before the 20124 election well again we got four and a half months he's still in office now it could happen he could die or he could uh resign and make Kamala president but so far nothing on that number three President Joe Biden's health will continue to fail you think I do not wish him harm I pray for him I pray for God to remove him but I also pray for him and his salvation and for him to become a sa of Tarsus figure he will lose power and it will be convenient for the Democrats to not have him leading the 2024 ticket well that's been speculated since he was elected number four unfortunately we will see a continued rise in inflation and a nose dive in residential and commercial real estate values there will be a significant housing mortgage crisis but not as bad as 2008 precious metals and land will become better safer Investments well you guys know what I say about uh you know gold and and silver and cryptocurrencies and all that stuff if you've watched my videos now these prophecies he said 40 prophecies for 2023 and Beyond but you can see that most of these were expected to take place within the next year or to he's not predicting things that are going to happen 10 20 years down the road these are supposedly uh in the next year or so and real estate right now is not at least not here my house is nearly at an all-time high value um so there may be a correction in the real estate market in the future I'm sure there will be at some point but I haven't seen it over the past couple of years I mean a rise in inflation and a nose dive in residential and commercial real estate values usually when there's a rise in inflation real estate values go up along with everything else so I don't get that number there is coming a naval conflict in the South China Sea which will cause the world markets to plummet China will be involved and might claim it was an accident the US will be affected by this and will be in the middle of this growing China Taiwan conflict number six gas prices are down temporarily but will go back up well price of oil goes up and down all the time uh well I'm not going to go through the whole list here I just want you to see that most of these prophecies that he's giving are about politics and economics and there stuff that you can glean as to whether they're likely or not from the newspapers so to me this is what I call uh newspaper prophecy just taking stuff that's in in the news and making predictions based on that and calling it prophecy uh and then there were other things he did a video a while back and uh let me go through some of these U here we go now you you can't see well I guess I could uh I guess I could share this couldn't I with my new fancy software uh let's see here it is I even see it Gavin Nome and Elizabeth Warren will be will set their sights on the White House once Biden is out okay um but apparently he was under the impression that Gavin Newsome as soon as Biden was out Gavin would try to get the nomination and he didn't he there was speculation but it didn't happen Elizabeth Warren is 75 years old uh I I don't see much uh to that prophecy let me see what's the next one three back over here we'll get faster at this promise USA prediction January 6 reexamined and new found information uh so he's making a prediction here that uh there's going to be an an opening up of the January 6 case that would reveal Russian influence Iranian Chinese and everything um well people examined this now for three years three and a half years and uh the mainstream media doesn't seem that import that interested in it uh Congress doesn't seem interested in investigating or anything so I don't I don't see a whole lot there either uh let's see the next one that share screen I'm I'm showing you these to let you know that I'm not just making this stuff up okay Senator Mitch McConnell's career in the Senate is soon to be over health and age will require him to out I guess that means require him to to move out step out or to go out uh Mitch McConnell if you remember was giving a speech uh a couple years ago and he froze in the middle of a speech and they had to kind of escort him off and that was before this prophecy was given if I'm not mistaken so everybody was aware of the fact that that Mitch McConnell was getting old and it was probably time for him to retire so I don't put a whole lot of stock in that either yeah he he's old and and he's not going to be around much longer as far as his career is concerned as far as his life is concern so again how impressed am I with that so uh I I'm not going to go through all these we just go back to stop the screen share uh oh and there's one more that I wanted to cover here man the 40 prophecies uh this number 21 this gets me I got to share this that screen there we go you guys can see this number 21 Joe Biden and Camala Harris will not be the leading Democratic will not be the leading Democratic party ticket in the next election cyle cycle I saw a man winning the Democratic nomination but it was not Joe Biden so he predicted that a man would get the nomination after Biden either dies or steps down and uh as we know now it was not a man it was a woman Kamala Harris got the nomination so that was wrong so uh just depart from the moral stuff uh which that is definitely disqualifying the prophetic stuff to me says dude you need to just knock it off step down uh go find something else to do because you're not good at this uh yeah you can make predictions that come true sometimes but you get other stuff wrong and some of the stuff you got a 50-50 shot you still get it wrong so uh I don't put a whole lot of stock into his prophetic Ministry and now in light of the uh Julie Roy's article I think he's totally disqualified for Ministry like I said I I try to give people the benefit of the doubt with Mike Bickle I waited a long time until uh I came down on the side of the advocacy group with uh the Mike Bickle story because everything I'd ever heard about Mike Bickle is he's a moral guy and he stands for Holiness and it was kind of hard for me to believe all of these allegations until Sam storms stepped up and I knew Sam storms was friends with Mike ble and and that pretty seal pretty much sealed it for me I mean when Sam storms says mike you you messed up this is wrong uh at that point I said Okay I I have to accept the fact that these allegations are true I would much rather do that I'd much rather be late to the party and eventually accept the fact that the allegations are true than to prejudge somebody and then be proven wrong but in this case I think I've waited long enough I think Chris Reed uh doesn't need to be in Ministry anymore and um it's a shame that we have to deal with situations like this but we do this is just a part of uh stewardship Christian stewardship is when when need to not only be good stewards in our own lives in families but we also need to be good stewards of the Church of the flock the body of Christ and allowing people like this to remain in ministry that's not good stewardship so uh that's I think all that I wanted to say about that let me look uh yeah that was that was all the points that I wanted to cover so let me get back to the chat thing here I've been going for half an hour we'll see uh if I can go another half hour Christianity explained Barry's trying to give me some tips on how to navigate thanks Barry I I'll get the hang of it unifield says this is why I don't usually trust YouTube profits exactly yeah if you're a real Prophet why do you need to be a YouTube prophet if you're a real Prophet why don't you just go out there and Minister the word of God and prophesy over people as the Holy Spirit leads you and share your visions and Revelations they're going to be confirmed uh the reason you do it on YouTube my opinion is because you're not a real prophet and there's no demand for you at the uh on a brick and mortar level uh let's see L the spirit says got to test everything by the spirit that's absolutely true we have to judge whether people are speaking by the spirit of God or not um and it's always going to be contentious because you're going to have people that say well I like that guy and maybe he meant this or maybe it's going to happen next year or whatever and they're always trying to do damage control but you can't let those people intimidate you you got to you got to maintain that standard if you really care I mean you remember Jesus said to Peter do you love me Peter says yes and he says feed my Lambs you show your love for the Lord by showing your love for his people and you're not showing love for his people by allowing them to be misled and abused let's see Jasmine says I am sick of inappropriate relation ships it's sin it's adultery amen yeah they call it inappropriate because well we didn't cross this line we didn't cross that line you cross the biblical line that's what matters okay so it's not just inappropriate it is sin let see jamama Phillips stemon not sure I've seen that name before but welcome the cleansing starts in the house of God first then the house of man yeah amen flame of the spirit who will retire from YouTube first Rod or Justin Peters uh I probably will like I said Justin is 16 years younger than me and so barring any Health crisis he'll probably be around 10 15 years from now uh so he'll probably be survive on YouTube longer than me I don't know as far as survive survive mean meaning living I don't know who's gonna who's going to kick the bucket first Kentucky girl says well Define woman that's a good point uh yeah these days it's hard to Define man and woman so how do we know that Chris Reed was wrong when he said a man would get the nomination maybe kamla Harris identifies as a man or maybe she will yeah joking of course see Flame the spirit says not sure how old Chris is but I think there's a danger in people trying to head into full-time Ministry too young instead of learning skills valuable in the workplace um he's got six kids so I don't know his age I I think he's over 40 um could be wrong on that but I do know that the report said that he had six kids and uh no I'm not going to speculate beyond that unifield says I think rod and pretty much everyone else bothered by the heresy Mafia would sleep better at night if they all retired I sleep just fine they don't bother me I mean it gets annoying but uh you can't let the stuff get to you you know you have to you have to keep the kingdom of God first you have to walk in love and forgive um that's something that I'm working on James chapter 4 right now and James chapter 4 talks about how the way that you treat other people uh is is the way that it it affects you spiritually it's a way that you view God as by how you treat people and uh he's talking about don't say we're going to go to this city or that place and conduct business and make money you have to consider the will of God in everything and if you're not considering the will of God in your day-to-day operations then you're carnal and if you're not uh if you want to get your own way in every situation you're carnal because Kingdom people put others first and you know it really hits home with me doing rebuttal videos you know I have to think about the way that I say things could impact people not just the listeners but also the people that I'm rebutting and I have to do what I do in a way that doesn't come across as hateful and uh malicious I have to do it in a way that communicates love and uh Grace so James says the Book of James the word of God is like looking into a mirror it gives you a good sense of where you're at spiritually and you know if you look in the mirror and you see teeth your teeth have spinach and your hair's not combed you need to take care of that before you go out and present yourself to other people well the word of God's like that if if you look in the word of God and you see I'm not doing too good here I'm doing really bad there you need to address that and so it always keeps me mindful about doing what I do with the grace of God and not getting in the mud with people uh I haven't always lived up to that standard but I do try uh let's see Troy black says what if God tells you to prophesy on YouTube should you obey or bow to the pressure from people telling you not to uh yeah if God tells you to certainly whatever God tells you to do then then you do if I didn't feel like God wanted me on YouTube then I wouldn't be here but I do think that a lot of people who are uh doing prophetic Ministry on YouTube are just like the uh the discernment channels they're they're doing it because it's a business model that they're following um so it's just like the Apostle Paul said some people preach the gospel out of selfish ambition some preach the gospel to make things difficult for me but uh I just rejoice in the fact that the gopel is preached and uh yeah there's there's people on YouTube that have wrong motives but uh if they're preaching the gospel if they're sharing the word of God and people are benefiting from it that's great but you still have to give an account to God for what you did with your gifting and with your ministry um so that's why when I approach YouTube I do rebuttal videos but I also do I try to do videos where I just teach and that's why I'm going through this series on James that's why I've done videos on things like um the church poity I did a video a while back on that I did a video one time on whether or not there's a g y genan um and you know I've tried to cover other material that's not necessarily charismatic and not necessarily uh confrontation but just information to share about DNA or things like that um if you if you vary your subject matter uh instead of just FOC focusing on the on the prophetic I think that's a lot safer because if if your whole focus is on the prophetic then I think uh you can feel compelled pressured to come up with some prophecy and that's a dangerous thing if God hasn't given you some Revelation something to share and you get out there and and try and share something because that's what people expect you can get yourself in trouble so uh got to you know I mean we all have we all have to be good stewards of whatever God has given us and uh we're all going to give an account so I I always try and keep that in mind um I'm a steward over what I've been given let's see I don't understand the ruok hakodesh of Yahweh or the shikina the ashth or the goddess of Heaven I have no idea what you know any of that means let's see Sheila says I don't know of the man you are talking about your videos are good good teaching keep up a good work thank you Sheila I appreciate that uh a a lot of people don't know who Chris Reed is and uh so if if it doesn't if it's not relevant to you if you're not you don't have a frame of reference that's fine but a lot of people do know who he is and they do know a little bit about this story so that's why I'm covering it but I'll get back to the teaching soon enough [Music] probably says yes it is dangerous if God isn't talking we can't ever pretend like he is amen Ian says varying your subject matter and demonstrating some real teaching chops LS credibility to your prophetic voice if you are truly called in my opinion amen that's uh something that I'm a big believer that if you're not uh if the spirit's not moving in the prophetic then just preach the word teach the word because the word's always is Anointed The all the word of God is always of God you you know as long as you stick with the word you're okay but if you're charismatic like me there going to be times that the Holy Spirit leads you in a different direction I'm not inclined toward the prophetic I never have been uh so I I stick in with my in my own wheelhouse I guess is the way you say it uh I try to stick with things that I know a lot about you may have noticed I never hardly ever talk about Catholicism and it's not because I don't think it's important it's just that I haven't really ever uh studied Catholicism a lot I know a little bit about it I've studied Vatican 2 some and I have a friend that's a Catholic but there are so many people on YouTube that know so much more about Catholicism than I do that I just don't mess with it and uh I'm not big on uh Revelation gifts uh word of knowledge Word of Wisdom I don't think you've ever seen me on YouTube say God is showing me something about somebody no that you know if it happens it happens but uh music and teaching and apologetics that's what I do and uh I'll let other people minister in the prophetic as uh as they're gifted to let's see unifield says what do you think the opinion that a person with EP okay this is the one I skipped over earlier the opinion that a person with epilepsy that has seizures is demon possessed well that certainly appeared to be the case in the gospels when Jesus cast the spirit out of the boy that uh fell down to the ground and he was convulsing his father asked Jesus if you can do anything please help us Jesus said if I can if you can believe all things are possible to him who believes and so he cast the spirit and it sounds like the guy was having a seizure he fell to the ground and was convulsing but uh it was demonic now is it always demonic I don't know uh TL Osburn used to say that he calls all sicknesses Devils he said I don't know anything about medicine when I encounter somebody needs healing I just call the sickness of devil and I take authority over it I don't know if I agree with that or not um I think sometimes sickness is caused by a bad diet lack of exercise or some other natural thing but a lot of times sickness is caused by some sort of demonic oppression that's why you have to be led by the spirit you can't treat everybody the same you you know Christianity is not formula oriented it's Spirit oriented and uh I certainly think that epilepsy can be demonic whether it's always demonic or not I wouldn't go that far oh Christianity explained says not all seagers not all seizures are demonic I know because I used to suffer from those okay I used to have anxiety attacks when I was young I haven't had an anxiety attack I guess since I was maybe my early 30s 35 years since I've had an anxiety attack I don't know what triggered it I I get maybe it was immaturity as you get older you're able to uh control your emotions better and and anxiety attack can come on because you can't shut your brain off and your your brain just starts racing and then your heart starts beating real fast and you feel like you're going to have a heart attack and you're you know you're out of breath and you haven't been moving you haven't been exercising but you're out of breath and if you never had an anxiety attack it's not fun uh but I wouldn't say it was demonic it it went away as I got older and I I was better able to get a grip on my emotions let's see Andrew Cass says stay in your own lane and just do what you're called to do amen that's good advice Flame the spirit you have to have a lot of discernment when engaging with prophets online a prophecy for someone else may not be a prophecy for you true true or it might be sometimes I've seen cases where a prophecy was given and then the person issuing the prophecy said uh now this was meant for this specific person but if you feel like like it applies to you too then go ahead and take hold of it by faith so a prophecy for somebody can apply to somebody else but it doesn't necessarily apply to somebody else again be led by the spirit listen to the Holy Spirit would you unifield says would you consider Calvinism a cult um certainly not a sociological cult sociological cult is where there's one Dynamic figure that everybody follows and you might be thinking John MacArthur but John MacArthur wasn't even considered a calvinist until the 21st century as far as I know uh I never when when I was young he was just a guy that taught on the on the radio he had the grace to you radio show I didn't know he was a calvinist until about 10 years ago um so it's not a cult in the sociological sense but in the theological sense you might be more inclined to believe that way because uh it comes very close in my opinion to denying essential Christian doctrines but I wouldn't go so far as to call it a cult now Brian from faith on fire I think he has called it a cult some people call it a heresy I don't like that because I know Calvinists I don't consider them Heretics but uh certainly hyp hyper Calvinists are are Heretics because hyper Calvinists say that you have to believe like them or you're going to hell and so you have to you have to sign on to the doctrines of Grace tulip or you're going to hell now to me that's heresy um RC Sproul said one one time somebody asked him if Armenians uh can be saved and he said barely that was his response barely and I thought man you're getting really close to hyper Calvinism um so I I think you're in danger if you're inclined that way that you've got to believe the doctrines of Grace or you're not saved uh any any religious group that gets a pet Doctrine like that like I've been dealing with people who are followers of William brandham now William Brandon's been dead for 60 years but there are still people out there who say he's my Prophet he's my Prophet if you reject William brandom you're going to hell wait a minute if you reject Jesus you're going to hell I think you have the two confused but there are people who go to extremes uh following William brandom there are people who believe that if you reject uh the King James Bible and you use some other Bible you're going to go to hell so people get crazy with stuff sometimes with secondary doctrines making them essential doctrines the issue is Jesus and most Calvinists will accept non- Calvinists as fellow Believers and they believe they were justified by faith alone In Christ Alone by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone and really I never I never heard of any major conflict between uh Calvinists and non-calvinist until the 21st century I think the internet has really intensified uh the conflict um because when I was a kid there there were Calvinists around I never heard anything about it the issue when I was a kid was inherency the fight was over inherency or tongues or women preachers but I never I never saw any big battle over the doctrines of Grace until the 21st century all right back to the chat box here unifield says are all fundamentalists independent fundamental Baptists no uh a lot of fundamentalists like um I think Jerry fwell was considered a fundamentalist uh fundamentalist just means that uh fundamentalism was a movement in the early 20th century it was a reaction to liberalism that came about because of the Enlightenment and evolution and things like that people started reinterpreting the Bible to accommodate science and the fundamentalists were the people who rose up and said no we follow the Bible we don't follow science and they were priest oppositionist they started with the Bible is true everything else has to line up with the Bible now they're not all independent fundamental Baptist I don't even think they're all King James only the independent fundamental Baptists are King James only but fundamentalists are just people who take the Bible as literally as possible on issues like Evolution the age of the Earth they're all young Earth creationists and things like that uh so you can be a fundamentalist I I would I'd consider John MacArthur a Fundamentalist he certainly not independent fundamental Baptist and uh now if you guys know if you remember Spencer Smith I did a video on Spencer Smith he's independent fundamental Baptist and he's against Calvinism so you can be fundamentalist as a calvinist or you can be fundamentalist as a non-calvinist uh let's see Robert Tuscano can you teach on how to put put on the whole armor of God and what every piece represents I could I don't know if I will anytime soon I'll tell you this much about the armor of God when I was going to Bible School uh there was a guy who' get up every day and say did you put on your armor this morning because he said every day when you get up you got to put on your armor and he was it was almost like he was saying take it literally you got to put on the helmet a salvation every day well if you're saved you've got the helmet of salvation on you know you just have to walk it out the sword of the spirit is the word of God you don't you just have to daily uh meditate on the word of God that's what the uhu the armor of God the sword of Spirit The Shield of Faith the breastplate of righteousness uh those are not things that you put on necessarily it's just a it's an allegory and you have to understand the allegorical nature of what was be he's just saying live according to the word of God live by faith uh use the sword of the spirit walk in righteousness uh truth you're having your loins G about with truth okay you don't really put something around your loins it's just that you live according to truth you treasure you value truth but that that's a good idea I'll look into doing a video on that Aldo Miranda have you done research on the septu agent versus masera texts any thoughts conclusion uh I haven't done it an extensive study but I do intend to get into a lot of textual criticism stuff as part of this seminar that I'm putting together so there's I'll have to get into that because the septu was the the Greek version of the Old Testament that Jesus and the disciples used and uh it's really it's an interesting study when you get into that um so I haven't done it yet but I'm going to have to in this seminar I'm putting together uh David wiback says John MacArthur has stated recently that people who listen to Benny Henn are going to hell no that doesn't surprise me he said the same thing about Joel ostein he said if you believe what Joel Ain wrote in his book your best life now this will be your best life now because you're going to end up in hell you're going to end up in hell for reading for and believing that uh you should keep your car clean because that's one of the things Joel oin said in the book keep your car clean take care of what God has given you if you want him to bless you with something better you know and that's a Biblical principle be faithful in a little and and You' be made ruler over much how how is that going to send you to hell to say that you need to keep your car clean or that you need to be a good Steward or what God has gifted you with uh but I don't think John MacArthur read that book anyway because he said he didn't mention Jesus once in that book and he mentioned Jesus eight times in the book I think MacArthur was repeating something that you heard somebody else say so I don't I don't take him serious on a lot of stuff he a green feather all I follow is Jesus amen that's uh that's a good policy to live by Kentucky girl I live near where brandom church is located you see cars on the road with brandom's fir on it okay uh you must be close to Indiana then because that was where he was I think he was uh located his headquarters was in Indiana at one time Christian explain James White was on ifb was an ifb and so was Greg lock yeah I knew about Greg lock I didn't know about James White though that's interesting nean Brown James White and Greg lock both being xfb is wild but somehow it makes sense well um yeah James White is a pretty dogmatic about what he believes see Colleen Johnson comedy good to see you Colleen see I don't think Colleen has joined us on on any of our nighttime live streams so this is one thing a good thing about doing it in daytime is that you get uh uh other people have opportunity to join good to see you Flame the spirit David deer Hernandez often says that things that are spiritual are often simple I think putting on the armor of God is supposed to be a simple thing I would agree with that you know people I mean yes you can do an in-depth study on this but uh you know Paul was I think probably he was looking he was probably in prison when he wrote that and he was looking or he might have been under house arrest anyway he's probably looking at a soldier with their armor and he used that as an illustration oh let's see unifield a lot of these KJ heresy Hunters love saying that if you listen to Christian contemporary music you're going to hell uh yeah they like Southern Gospel I don't like Southern Gospel sorry I like contemporary Christian music that's why when I left the Baptist Church and I started going to an Assembly of God Church back in the mid 70s I heard love song Chuck jard and the second chapter of Acts Barry Maguire and I said oh this is great these people are doing Christian music in a style that I can appreciate because in my church it was always Rock of Ages and how great that art and those are good songs I'm not against those but it's it's an out it was an outdated style for us if you're listening to The Beatles and the pop music of the 60s and 70s you don't want to listen to George Beverly Shay you don't want to listen to those guys that were part of our parents and grandparents generation you want to listen to music that you're familiar with that was a great thing about Chuck Smith and Calvary Chapel is they they brought that music in and it impacted a whole generation see Ian says the lxx is fascinating as it often United States as it used to be but it's still growing by Le and Bounds all over the world so it's I'm not a I'm not a myologist myologist I don't keep close tabs on everything that's going on on the mission field but I do know that people are still going and starting churches and preaching the gospel all over the world from the word of faith persuasion uh and I appreciate your support doctor you supported this channel for years and I appreciate that Kentucky girl are you familiar with the most with the famous fire pick of brandham probably just an exposure yes uh Gordon Lindsay wrote about that in his book on brandom and uh he said that he got the photo and he took it to a a professional to have it examined and they said it was not doctor that a light was striking the lens so I'm just
