um speaking of one a team that's really intriguing and the fact that there's six in this is crazy to me as Virginia Tech they return 11 offensive starters 10 defensive starters and one of the more Dynamic dual threat quarterbacks in this conference and in the country Kyrie drones 17 touchdowns three picks last year 818 yards rushing and five touchdown passes this is one of those teams where I I I get I get a little I get I get Juiced up about because you BR in a lot of talent um a team that kind of people were saying as a dark horse um this is like one of those teams with the Sandman and all the Traditions they have kind of those dirty grind and pound type of teams that you know you want back in like like just like Miami you want Virginia Tech to start getting up in the conference and being competitive and this is their most competitive team yet what sticks out to you I guess about Kiren Jones and this team bringing back so much talent bro like they bring their top three receivers back they bring their starting quarterback back they bring their top two running backs back they bring four out of five offensive lineman back Virginia Tech will be playing meaningful football games in the month of November in the ACC the schedule lines up perfectly no Notre Dame that's big when you're in ACC school trying to jockey for position in the college football playoff no Florida State you get to play Clemson at home and your only real tough away game at Miami which yeah which to me is a tossup because both teams are so Dynamic on the offensive side of the ball I'm super high on this team I told you as I told you when we first started talking about doing preview episodes and what teams we're excited about this Virginia Tech Team and Kiren Jones specifically is and ready for a very big year and I'm extremely high on this team I'm I don't know how they're picked sixth in the conference with all the talent that they're bringing back this year and all the production that they're bringing back but just know you will be hearing about Virginia Tech in November in this conference I like that I think they're like the Oklahoma state of of of the ACC in terms of the amount of talent they bring back even a more talented quarterback um you mentioned all of that I'm looking at the stats from last year and how many returning guys so on the Phil Steels magazine if it's bold it means they're coming back from last year a lot of bold ton of bold on this team um which brings you a lot of excitement you mentioned the games um at Miami Clemson at Syracuse um it's going to be one of those thingss I think if they lose one game in the ACC like you mentioned they split them they're in the hunt um for the ACC title my exactor and again this is another team where there's a lot of Virginia Tech one of those you you don't really see them in Prime Time games which that's what I'm also looking forward to seeing too is there a lot of returning guys that maybe have not made a m for name for themselves yet but Kiren drones if he can kind of be that Dynamic player um you know be able to use his legs and take care of the football too more importantly three interceptions last year is phenomenal 17 touchdowns of what he did on the run on on on the ground game two um I'm looking forward to seeing Kyon Jones that's gonna be my X Factor Kiren drones Darkhorse Heisman trophy finalist possible candidate just keep remember the name Kiren Jones this is the point after told you there's been a couple times we've tried to tell you guys to listen and pay attention I'm tell like you know when they say in class you might want to take notes on this Kiren drones is a guy that you need to know for the year of 2024 in college football I love it I love it um let's move on
