Ready To Get Wet? Penn State Welcomes Bowling Green In Home Opener

uh let's talk about Bowling Green they have an electric offense led by Connor baslac and terion Stewart if you can't stop the run Bowling Green might give you some problems that is one of the reasons why I've been saying that Bowling Green could get a big upset against Texas A&M in a few weeks I really like that match up for them and I think Texas A&M improved it this week struggling against Notre Dame Bowling Green could be in for a big upset against A&M I'm I said it last spring with Casey and he was amazed by that hot take I don't I don't even think that's a hot take at this point I think it's just wow that might actually happen I think it's just people are starting to really consider that and see uh where I'm coming from with that decision to say that and I think we're going to see this week that Penn State's just a good matchup for Bowling Green like I I think all the things that Bowling Green does well we do well against and I think all the things the Bowling Green does well Texas A&M does badly against and so I think that they're just a really good matchup for the agies uh but not so much against us uh like I said we can stop the run it's not like our DBS are going to be too concerned about Connor Bay lack I think we can limit BG's offense similar to how we did against West Virginia on the other side of the ball that's where things could get fun Bowling Green allowed 401 yards last week to for them and they didn't generate any turnovers they allowed a pair of big TD plays as well so I would say that all of this equates to us going absolutely bananas on offense running up the score with a bunch of big plays however the weather forast for this weekend predicts a lot of rain so this game might be more of a ground battle than an air raid if we do end up getting some bad weather on Saturday we are currently favored by 32 points I think that spread is pretty darn good I'd be happy if we won by five touchdowns in the rain against a solid ma team at the same time if the offense in the rain or you know they were able to score some points who knows uh then that the under could hit on that and Bing GRE could take the spread who knows um my prediction if the weather seems to change over the next few days I'm going to change my prediction all right but as of right now expecting some rain I'm going to say Penn State 4510 for Bowling Green I might bull that I might bump that up to like 5 to if I look at the weather on Thursday Friday and say oh it's actually going to be nice um but as of right now expecting some rain I'm going 45 to 10
