now after September 11th the world we live in did forever change as a mark of this September 11th anniversary reme we remember our character as a nation our faith in one another and our Legacy as a country strengthened by service and selflessness in contrast to earlier conflicts the 911 generation are all volunteers everyone in today's military has chosen to serve in a time of war and that also goes for our First Responders they they choose this profession to serve Afghanistan and Iraq marked the first time since the Revolutionary War that our nation engaged in sustained conflicts fought entirely by volunteers those events they shocked us and they changed the world as the colonel said but I just want to remind you of my classmate he reported for Duty on a regular normal working day he reported for his typical work assignment and let me mind you remind you he was stationed at the Pentagon when the planes hit the Hayman Lions some people call him pck he was more than a victim that day he was a beloved family member a loyal friend a funny classmate he was funny he had a lot of friends he was smart he was in the Honor Society and he was in the band and not only that he became my brother in arms his strength his spirit and his courage that you spoke of it will forever be remembered because see some of us only gave some I know I did I gave 23 years but he gave the ultimate sacrifice for his country and that's something to be proud of P love let's give that a h guide her through the light with the light from above from the mountains to the prairies to the ocean wide with fo God bless America my home sweet home oh God yes senior operation specialist n audience [Music] [Music] h [Music]
