LeBron James Comes To Josh Allen's Defense After Being Voted Most Overrated

all right everyone so NFL players voted Josh Allen as the most overrated QB LeBron James C's defense saying I guarantee he's at the top of the Scouting Report before playing Buffalo offensively so who cares you know well first of all good on LeBron for saying this and the second thing is it is going to be an interesting season for Josh Allen um you know the quarterback position in the media coverage of the quarterback position it it never makes a whole lot of sense to me you know it depends on the player it depends on the year people are all over the place on certain quarterbacks and the no one ever seems to get judged by the same standards right so one guy you know he could win because he has a good team around him and like Brock pie and everyone's like he's a game manager you know that's all he is basically right which I mean I guess that's part of the game that's fine but that's what the argument is people use against them then you have other guys that have a ton of talent where people just say yeah we know for sure that he's not a game manager and that he does it all himself and he's the best QB in all these things and so that's the confusing part with Josh Allen it's like let's even take last season let's just look at last year so obviously there were struggles throughout the year some of those were certainly Josh Allen's fault but when you get into the playoffs okay and they face off against Patrick Mahomes Josh Allen played a pretty good game now he made a few mistakes in there but the crazy part about that is that if you look throughout the entirety of that season including in the Super Bowl what happened at halftime at halftime the chiefs were losing Patrick Mahomes comes out first drive in the second half they really need something and he throws an interception the defense of the Chiefs was all season really the driving force in a lot of ways in what they were doing and it doesn't mean that Patrick Mahomes isn't the best cub in the league doesn't mean he didn't have a great year in terms of doing what he needed to do but even Patrick Mahomes when his weapons weren't as quite as good right when there were some struggles and some other things he had some downtime right he needed the team he needed his defense in that Super Bowl otherwise the 49ers were going to beat him and so when it comes to Josh Allen nobody can point out well the injuries that team suffered you know Stefan Diggs and all that stuff in the offseason it didn't seem to carry into the regular season you don't know if it did and so he gets called overrated and then he gets called you know so he goes from being the bills being overhyped and the best in oh let's go let's go and then he gets attacked right it just seems like they don't ever cover quarterbacks properly and there's no one standard meaning in some cases winning is what matters in other cases it's it's you know stats that matter in other cases it's teammates that matter there's not one kind of um you know way we can look at it where everybody agrees on and that's why you get this Josh Allen he may be overrated he may not be but the bottom line is he's one hell of a quarterback and the bills without him would be nowhere near as good as as they were even last year you take Josh Allen off that team that's a pretty bad team so thank you all for watching and we will see you next
