Kamala Harris Defends TPS for Haitian Migrants Amid Rising Concerns in U.S. Cities

Kamala Harris's move to extend temporary protected status TPS to over 100,000 Haitian immigrants might be seen as a reflection of misaligned priorities potentially neglecting us interests that is why also starting with our Administration we gave TPS temporary protected status to Haitian migrants 55,000 and then more recently we extended temporary protected status to over a 100,000 hatian migrants for that very reason that they need support they need protection critics argue that the current Administration especially Harris is not putting American citizens first they suggest the America needs support rhetoric is being overshadowed by policies that funnel resources and protections toward immigrants the growing concern is that these immigration decisions are tipping the balance in favor of non-citizens possibly at the expense of the very people they were elected to deserve
