Hello and welcome to 11 A live mid day at 11 I I should, Howard and I'm Cheryl Pre. So if you're heading outside before lunchtime here, grab an umbrella on the way out. It's another weather impact alert day. Plus we are still tracking tropical storm Fran me all this the heart for in for today. The call, how we looking out there. Yes, it is rainy across North Georgia and this is just the start of what will be a much more active weather pattern moving forward. So we do have that weather impact alert for today and tomorrow and there's a couple different components that we're going to be monitoring. The first is the rainfall, it's light now, but heavier rain will start to move in later today. And into the end of the week, the weekend, about 1 to 4 inches is expected widespread with some locally higher totals which could lead to some areas of flooding. We're also monitoring gusty winds, wind gusts about 20 to 25 miles per and even in some spots, 35 MPH could lead to some down trees down power lines. And the third component is a severe weather threat, very low but still not to be ignored. There is a risk for some brief spin up tornadoes mainly southwest of the city later this evening. So we will want to say weather aware all day today and tomorrow for the rain, the storms as well as that wind risk. You just need to make sure you have a way to get those at this point. We do have rainfall across North Georgia but it is predominantly light, a couple pockets of some somewhat heavier rainfall kind of sprinkled in, but there was a lot more moisture on the way. In fact, just down towards the south, some of those outer rain bands are producing very heavy rainfall as well as strong storms down into the Panhandle of Florida. That moisture gonna stay with us through the rest of the week and into the weekend. I'll detail the timeline of it all coming up. All right, Nicole, thanks.
