hi my name is Tama folks and I'm a reporter for USA Today and today I'm here with I'm Claudia Conway and we are here at hotties for Harris Claudia can you tell me a little bit about why you decided to come today totally um it's so nice to meet you and I'm really glad to be here and I came because I think we're all hotties for Harris I mean this is a cultural phenomenon like we are living in such historic times and everyone's so excited I'm so excited and I think everybody needs to get out the vote register to vote and like spread this I mean this is incredible seriously I mean there's a lot of young people who come from a similar situation with you as you kind of had like your parents on two sides of the political spectrum and you had to overcome that can you tell me a little bit about what it's like to do that and maybe what advice you would give to other young people who are trying to figure out where they land politically totally I mean take it from me I grew up in a Catholic conservative household and I am a gay up little girl here at spis so anything's possible truly um I think that no matter in what situation you are no matter where you came from you know what your background is who you are um you have the ability to educate yourself and form your own opinion you don't have to listen to anybody you don't have to be forced into anything by anybody and that's the beauty of our democracy truly everybody has a voice everybody's entitled to their opinion and we have so many resources now today and like everything's at the tips of our fingers
