well this is what it looked like not only in Toronto flooded streets we can see there uh along the lake shore but many other parts of Southern Ontario the greater Toronto area where we had uh multiple storms rolling across the same area bringing us what we call training thunderstorms that led to flooding like what we saw there and just taking a look at the wide swath of rain we had since the uh overnight through the early morning hours for us you can see that ends along the 401 corridor from the southwest and across the GTA you can see there if we zoom into the GTA say from Burlington to miss Saga Bramton Toronto and even continuing Eastward we have been in that range of over 75 millimet uh in some instances now as we continue through this afternoon the back edge of that heavy rainfall is now moving off into the East so Eastern Ontario into Southern Quebec anyone doing any traveling this evening along the four one heading toward the Ottawa Montreal area you are going to be driving into that heavy rain now it's not really expected to be as intense as earlier this morning but still very heavy rainfall along the roadways now as we head into this evening while the cluster of thunderstorms will push off toward the East and into Southern Quebec you can see there now we're still looking at some thunderstorms around southern Georgi and Bay a cluster getting around say the uh shores of Lake Huron uh down towards Southern sections uh in the Sonia area as we we continue through the evening we start to notice now almost a line along that cold front as it continues to push through pushing across the GTA for us through the mid and uh late evening hours for us and then as we continue through the late evening and into the overnight we get conditions improving for us as we see uh the thunderstorm activity winding down still into Wednesday for us we'll have a little bit of residual energy to bring the slight risk of some storms across Southern Ontario but most of it should be up toward Northeastern Ontario and into the Ottawa Valley [Music] [Music]
