Lil Wayne RESPONDS To NOT Being SUPER BOWL PERFORMER & SENDS Message “HURTS A LOT..

say thank you to every voice every opinion all the Care all the love and the support out there is y your words turned into to arms and it held me up when when I try to fall back um that hurt hurt a lot you know what I'm talking about it hurt a whole lot um I blame myself for not being mentally prepared for a let down and for just automatically mentally putting myself in that position like somebody told me that was my position so I blame myself for that but I thought that was nothing you know I thought there was nothing better than that that that spot and that stage and that platform in my city and um so it hurt it hurt a whole lot um but y'all y'all are amazing it made me feel like not getting this this opportunity and when I felt like you guys reminded me that I ain't without y'all and and that's an amazing reality so like I said it broke me and I'm just trying to put me back together but my God have you all helped me thanks to all my peers my friends my family my homies on the sports television everybody repping me I really appreciate that I really do I feel like I that all of y'all down are not getting that opportunity but I'm working on me and I'm working so thank you say forgive me for uh forgive me for the delay um the delay on just the delay I want to say I had to first of all I had to get strength I had to get strength enough to do this without breaking yo yo yo it's big ant the spokesman man we back another edition of urban politicians TV upv make sure you stay on your pivot at all times man had to come tap in as Lil Wayne came to Instagram late last night and spoke on not being selected for Super Bowl 59 in New Orleans next year 2025 to do the halftime performance the news that came out Sunday that Kendrick Lamar will headline this year's show during halftime and it's spit a lot of n mix reviews on the internet a lot of people put their different opinions out there we seen Master PE speak on the situation Birdman Nicki Minaj juvenile several others is started debating and back and forth and everything like that well L Wayne just spoke right there you heard what he said he didn't drop any name specifically said that he felt like he let people down and let himself down and things like that but he also was staking his fans in this regard and I took it as more of that where he's like hey y'all showed me that I really matter to y'all y'all wanted me to get my shine on like hey I accepted this and looked at it like this is my position off of what somebody said now that's going to be broken down with did somebody tell him that directly I never heard Lil Wayne say hey man I was told I was going be doing the halftime show I was told this was something that was going to be here for me we seen in interviews where he said that he wanted to do it him being from New Orleans it made sense he does have a legendary career he is one of the best rappers of all time and things like that but that's going to start a whole another worldwind the conversation the way he came on here and spoke on it keeping it all the way a thousand now he can feel how he want to feel that might have felt like a major achievement and accomplishment for L Wayne I do want to say this though in our culture in rap hip hop black urban music culture performing at the Super Bowl most definitely is a major accomplishment that's a very very very big stage especially if it's going to be in your hometown but that does not define your legacy it don't make your legacy or break your legacy the NFL has never been synonymous and representative of how great your rap career is and especially with it being in your hometown that has never been a thing that's never going to be a thing and that's what we need to accept and that's what I'm just speaking on I get the cultural aspect of it I get if it's in your hometown and you're a legendary rapper and you're going to see another rapper like Ken glamar come perform you going to feel away that's just the understanding of the unwritten law of our culture but we need to also understand that NFL is a business and they are not trying to align their business with our culture like that that just is what it is I don't care who they put in position Jay-Z can be there this person can be there that person could be there the NFL is a business that is 100% focused on the bread they are going to put options on the table Jay-Z is not calling no shots in the way of well I want Wayne or I want Kendrick that's who we going to have no that's going to go through a CH a board of committee that we will not ever be present for to sit in with and see who makes that final decision they don't let us in on their business bro or the reason why they do their business Le Wayne didn't really say too much maybe he got told something I don't know but we need to know and understand and have it overstood that the NFL does not align itself with what the understanding of our culture is of the hometown Unwritten laws and r rules they never have done that it worked out in that situation in 22 in LA and things but they clearly went with the business move right here kend Lamar had a very lit year they able to see all the analytics they able to see the Amazon half the Amazon stream show he did this is a Apple music uh situation going on right here when you look at the post and how it happened I'm telling y'all they are strictly business the way the quicker we get to understand that the quicker they will know and you won't be let down I've already accepted that is what that is when it comes to the NFL bro this is a business it's not for the Black Culture the urban culture to come enjoy the Super Bowl either if it was the tickets wouldn't be $10,000 to get in bro come on if they was meant for the community of New Orleans to come in and enjoy the game then guess what the tickets will be affordable for the people they are not how many people in our community and our culture do y think can really come in and afford tickets for $10,000 they selling $100,000 and million doll boost up there bro let's keep it all the way a thousand that game is not for us to come enjoy now we can watch it on TV and I get this is one of the biggest stages in the world I wouldn't turn it down if they offered to me at all but kendri glamar had the year they went for that they had a few options on the table I'm pretty sure of it was probably going to be classic artist maybe and then they GNA go for well who's the hot artist right now or they was going to go with one of the pop stars like Taylor Swift for one of them like that they chose Kendrick Lamar for obvious reasons because of the year he had no matter why he had that year they going with the bag bro this is a business they trying to have the people who got that type of stage presence that type of performant and who relevant and if we go with that classical act or the legendary act we going to go for the one that we think is going to bring the most Revenue not who we think well hey it's your hometown you lit you had a legendary rap career they just don't care about that and I understand it bro the NFL is not about appeasing rap hip hop the black urban community they just not L Wayne is a music legend L Wayne is one of the best rappers of all time but this is just not how it's going to go we'll see what happens now y'all tell me what y'all think we got more coming and somebody had put in my comments and it made perfect sense because Jay-Z is not calling no shots up there y'all y'all can believe what y'all want to believe y'all going to be forced to believe that this is a Jay-Z call people said that if you think Jay-Z is running things in the NFL that that that game the NFL that's not for uh owned by anything owned by anybody from our community you're the same person that thinks that Kanye tell Adidas what to do or you the same person that think Diddy told sarak and those liquor companies what to do those are positions those are like ambassadors and they have an opinion but they don't we don't own nothing in the NFL bro if you don't own it you don't make no decisions and you have no control over it you don't control the prices you don't control what go on but tell me what y'all think we got more coming more videos all at 1,000 for [ __ ] show stay on your pivot
