all right welcome to another week of Arkansas state Dynasty this week we're on the road I think taking on Texas State yep we're on the road also they added the red uniforms ooh they added the state logo as well of course we're going with the white out as we take on Texas state welcome to San Marcos Texas home of the Texas state podcast a place widely known as one of the continuously inhabited sites in America and we expect our crowd to continually inhabit and make their presence known in this game today a showdown of a couple of foes from the Sun Belt as we'll see the winners of five straight the Arkansas state red wolv taking on a squad hoping to prevent another L this week the Texas state podcast for EA Sports college football ree Davis with you alongside David poock and Jesse Palmer and guys can't wait to get this start there we go kick it off to get us and of course we're going to return he'll bring it outow those he stopped there but a good good return coming out of his offense to throw it's oh he's going to take a shot at the DB oh that one's almost intercepted that one back and the last thing you want is to turn it over on your opening drive boy guys they got off to a great start with that big first play on this drive but now a couple Stevenson again it looks like we're going to have to pun it take a shot there and now it's Fourth Down the red WS line up to punt it away promising start to that drive sort of fizzled out and they'll have to it away honestly that should have been a flag cat's offense taking the field first chance we have to see them today as we take a look at our impact players for this game David what do you look for to make an impact from your leaders your leaders not only have to lead the football team but they got to step up and make plays on come on for the football oh and he gets the ball back lucky to do so I guess it could have been worse they need something that goes forward this time on second along from the 14 running back searching for a hole and he's stuffed by big defensive tackle up front third andly the ideal situation for this offense third and long back up inside their looking and he needs a bunch and he's going to be drilled all way back towards their quing this crowd don't let him get involved you know how you do that get a sack and force a punt on the first possession of the football game oh that state has it ready to go to work on offense throws it towards cross grabb behind the line it's cross the quick beat the acceleration the vision and he works his way to the 44 this offense has a second down play he's looking to throw right oh so close to paying off the tip Dr had it in his hands but it falls incomplete we'll see if they go back to the inco third and gets it the cross he guy fall A&M 7 to nothing close game they up by seven over your Bo KC covered here in that would be a huge upset if Western Kentucky can beat [Applause] he&m leaves it with the keeps it moving for a three yd settle for David it can be demoralized and I think it leades you to say maybe I go for it more but Jesse I think this offense just needs to put another drive together and just finish strong yeah and be a little bit less predictable again for Rucker this time he gets it inside the 25 and chunk plays are the name of the game and they get one here before the defense finally makes theop looking for cross NOS incomplete trying to get a CH on that after missing the connection last time it's second and 10 from the 22 the running back oh crap oh there's a Lo tried to return to Center and that failed the'll to up Bo a crap it turned from a third and short into a third and very very long moment you just get a little bit frustrated theck of and that almost got intercepted third is incomplete as we reach the twoin warning they'll need to try to get a stop to keep this thing from no good after the miss the lead still at 11 Texas state gets the football back and here comes the offense getting late almost a fumble I thought I was going catch will send out the punt unit and you got to wonder if this offense is going to go for it here they're trailing Now by a lot I know there's a lot of football still to go and I know they're on their own end of the field but just kind of get the feeling their defense hasn't gotten a ton of stops they may need to stay out there he's going to get all the way to the 30 Arkansas state has it ready to go to work on offense you want to talk about taking the wind out of your sailes deep looking for Rucker and good coverage there to knock it away the incomp brings up a second down looking for a man it'ser oh he loves to fire down field oh that was almost picked off man he almost pick that one off in the end zone instead it'll be third down if they can with them and lose you can't even get your hand on those so quick so elusive that's such a great job making people Miss but still going full speed up the field to get all the way to the end zone and score the TD they'll try to add another to their lead and extra 21 lead man you just can't put a price on having a guy like that back there to return punts and he turned that one into a touchdown the kickoff team is out there and their number one job is to make sure one special teams touchdown isn't answered with another one he'll bring it back inside we' not allowed a single pick six this season has the football back and they'll go on running behind that left side and you got to be kidding me flag on the FI see what the call is okay holding on Texas state of course we're going to accept this they have a first and 19 at throw nine for on first they'll run it from the gun really nice stop there from the senior leader I never know if it's grammatically correct to say a team is being out able to run against this defense that's been run on a lot in this offense just can't get the running game going be interested to see what they do give me that and that ball is off he'll try to take it [Applause] ground try to it off on second and goal and try again again to get it in gets it this time touchdown quz cross mid here in week seven as they push out that lead and the extra point gives him a 283 lead almost ready course that's the only field goals I can make are the freaking extra points that's just sad and they got everything work is this you extend your lead now you get your defense back on the field great job taking manage the situation building on that lead Texas state gets the football back and here comes the offense off play action on first down and it's incomplete if you're going to take a hit like that you might as well hang on to the ball after the quarterback and receiver failed to hook up they'll try it again on second down from the gun the ground game dang they actually got a first down for once that might be that might be at at least their second or third first down they've actually got in this game down the left side give me and the ball is picked off taking it the other way and they capitalize not only on the pick but the great return to give the offense tremendous field position now they'll try to cash in this drive first and 10 from the 50 defenses before they play this guy they all know he's going to get the ball thrown his way they always come up with creative and exotic ways to try to cover him in the back end but they're never able to get it done this guy just beats coverage time and time again and with that last catch that's now his 15th receiving score of the Season Southern Mississippi ready to send that offense back onto the field so late in the half this is really an opportunity David maybe to swing the momentum in their almost got P something now that we can build on in the second half coach said all week he wanted to be aggressive this is a great opportunity to show and the quarterback goes down all the way back at his four yd Line running out of time here in the first half they're going to have to be efficient to put some points on the board before the break the inside off and he's not going to get the def stand at half time it's absolute blowout and the red wolves will try to kick this one deep to get things underway in the second half but see what he can get done from inside his own 15 couldn't find a way to create that he stopped at the 25 Southern Mississippi has it back and the golden eagle offense headed to the field nothing where right in that first half in the first order of business here not to Bear any first but the comeback is possible remember 206 michig State down 35 to Northwestern at halftime they somehow came back and won the game but it all starts on one play and that has to happen here on this first drive for the offense yeah the first possession CU your possessions you're only going to get so many possessions that you got to score on every single one of off defense Bas quarterback into making a mistake but they have to believe they'll stick to the ground looking for the mark and they get the first down and the defense finally stop after the sweet run and good gain the golden eagles have it with a first and 10 they'll move the running back to try to force the defense to adjust fires to the wide and the pass is intercepted going the other way and he's got room at the 20 and he's Joiner red woles and stop it how about backto back weeks with pick sixes this guy is definitely going to do another season of it that uh I Poss put them in another conference maybe Big 12 or first play forces the F that's going to be another touchdown and I believe that was the same guy who forced the fumble the defense with the scoop and score they are fining the deal building the lead in the and they are going to to seven and and hopefully get ranked cuz I swear if this turns into if this turns into a James Madison situation like that's going to be s first down for the offense they'll come out on this drive and let it RI got him in it's Thomas he's brought down solid pick up but a little bit short of the first down that last completion has him set up second and short he's looking to throw there's a flag grab near the marker it's he's brought down but there's a flag on the let's see if it stands oh they got caught holding amazing how many times an offensive holding penalty will stall a drive we'll see if the offense can overcome it looking down field it's raker offense returns to the field that fumble in FL ter T just ruined that last Drive David yeah and those are frustrating when you got the offense moving a little bit and you put that thing on the deck jesses but gets away from what find some space and he picks up the first down but he will remember the price he paid after that hit that's a way to give yourself some breathing room now the second play of the drive from the 36 fires to the middle almost to the defensive pressure of them out of get set for second down back to throw it's Crowder got him down field and he earns a first down and boy did he earn it after taking that lick offense lines up for a first and 10 from the 43 looking to throw it again pocket starts to collapse with the catch it's green didn't pick up a lot there moving forward just a few now here on second down see if they keep tossing it around he's looking to throw and here's a way behind the line that footb must be riveted to your rib cage how can you let
