Billionaire Jared Isaacman sets new space record with SPACEWALK.

hey everyone welcome back to my channel so guys today we have some exciting news about a billionaire making history in space on Tuesday September 10 2024 Jared isach man a daring billionaire and Tech entrepreneur losted off into space again this time he's aiming to do something never done by private citizens a space walk unlike his previous space flights where he went solo ISAC man teamed up with SpaceX to share the cost they had to create uh and test newspace suits to see if they could handle the harsh environment of space breaking new ground with SpaceX if everything goes according to the plan this would be the very first space walk by private citizens however they won't be floating far from the spacecraft Space Walk are considered one of the riskiest Paths of space travel since 1965 only professional astronauts have done space walks first by Soviet Union and then by NASA today these activities are routine part of Missions at the International Space Station isack man along with two SpaceX engineer and form uh a former Air Force pilot launched early in the morning from Florida above a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket they plan to do a space walk on Thursday halfway through their 5-day Mission going uh before The Space Walk The Crew is aiming to go much higher than the ISS they have they want to reach the 870 Mi which is about, 1400 km above the Earth which would be which which would break the record set during NASA's project Germany in 1966 only the Apollo Astronauts who went to the moon have traveled farther this plan is to spend 10 hours on this height where the conditions are extreme and filled with space deage after that they will lower the orbit to 435 miles which is about 700 km even at this lower altitude they will be higher than ISS and Hubble face telescope which is the highest than shuttle as gone testing new space shoots all the four crew members where space new space shoots uh during The Space Walk The Dragon capsule will be depressurized so that so that they need to prepare the dangerous environment ISAC man and SpaceX Sara gills will take the turn briefly exciting the hats to test their new suits they need to keep a hand or foot on the capsule or a support structure and they won't be using jetpacks inside the pilot Scot and SpaceX Ana Menan will monitor The Space Walk just like SpaceX previous mission this is one will end the splash down of uh Coast of Florida after leing orbit launch director Frank Masina sent a message to the crew we were sending you hugs from the ground may you make history and come home safely I satman responded saying we would be we would be on this journey with all 14,000 of your uh SpaceX and everyone cheering on us ISAC man who is CEO and founder of Shift 4 didn't reveal how much he spent on the mission SpaceX worked with him to fund and develop of uh the space shoots and other cost William uh William from SpaceX said that we are really pushing limits with the private companies this mission is the first three trips isak man bought from Elon Musk about 2 and a half years ago uh right after his private first SpaceX flight in 2021 that flight helped raise a lot of money for such you's Children's Research Hospital the development of space suits took longer than expected causing a delay for Missions which was initially called Polaris Dawn training for this mission was intense recording to PO and was as challenging as his time in Air Force before lift off ISAC man said I I wasn't alive when humans walked on moon I'd love for my kids to see humans walking on the moon and Mars and exploring solar system poor weather had delayed the mission by two weeks and the as the crew needed good conditions for both launch and splash down with the limits limited supplies and no way to reach the ISS they had to wait for the weather to clear and that's all for today guys if you enjoyed this video make sure to hit the like button and I hope you like the video till then bye
