Beetlejuice 2 has the same quirky dark humor as the original Beetlejuice it's a fun movie overall but I got to say there are a few moments that feel a little cringy or just outright silly you might find yourself wanting to skip through some of them but overall it's more funny than scary don't expect this to be a full-on horror movie yes there are a few creepy moments and it does have some scares and even a bit of Gore but nothing that would make you jump out of your seat especially if you're a fan of dark comedies for tween and up this movie is a blast it's definitely not too scary for them and it strikes that perfect balance of spooky and entertaining think of it as a fun weird roller coaster through the supernatural there are some mild scares throughout it's more dark than violent though you've got weird faces strange creatures and of course some classic Tim Burton style macabra moments there's even one reference to Suicide so that might be something to consider if your kids are younger or sensitive to that kind of content for those under 10 though I'd probably say to hold off while it's not super scary some of the visuals and themes might be a bit much for them but for twin and teens this one's a fun spooky ride they'll enjoy subscribe to parents guidance and keep your kids safe from unwanted content
