Zadina on Waivers, Leafs Sign Gambrell, Marc Staal to Flyers

Intro morning all all right so starting off with some news of the day uh for all you find people on the internet signings and whatnot uh things have really quieted down we're starting to see some GMS going out and giving their their speeches their press conferences and that very often means those teams are are done right uh for all intents purposes those teams then are done now Dylan Gambrell starting things off with teams that aren't uh the Toronto Maple Leafs signed Dylan Gambrell one-year deal for 775 000 solid bottom six forward uh I do Wonder with Toronto and I will do a video on it at some point uh the the depth scoring I do still wonder like from the third and fourth lines but again I'll go through and we'll talk about it at some point uh but yeah Gambrell I think it's a solid pickup Mark Stahl has signed with the Flyers so we will not see all the Stahl Brothers playing together this year mark Stahl signs a contract with Philadelphia for one year worth 1.1 million dollars Marc Staal if utilized correctly Mark stall is very is a very useful defenseman again it's about being utilized correctly uh Bill Garen so Minnesota here uh says teams likely done he basically says don't take my word for it because almost anything can happen a GM could pick up the phone in an hour and call them and make him an offer he can't refuse but uh yeah it would appear that the Minnesota Wild are done for now so for Minnesota of course they're a team that are are cap strapped so that definitely makes a difference there too uh and again you don't have to fix all your problems on July the first you're probably not going to fix all your problems on July the 1st so there's no reason to panic we've got over a hundred days left until next season gets started Draeger uh Darren Draeger so this is the continuing Saga of Alex to bring it uh reporting that part of what's holding up a debrinket move and and him being with a new team uh is that he may want a minor level deal and GMC him as being more of the Jasper brat level when it comes to Deals and I saw a quote about this online and I will agree that it is odd how GM's throw around money on bottom six guys they may spend way more on on a bottom six guy than another team does but they'll play hardball with the star players and they they won't want to give up that extra million dollars to the guy who could be a 30 40 goal scorer it is odd I will agree with that uh but yeah it looks like to bring it is is in Ottawa for now we'll see how it goes it kind of feels like the Dubois situation last year it really kind of does that maybe it just ends up with him playing one more year in Ottawa but we are again early in the summer there's no reason to panic if you're a sense fan speaking of panic fans I will close this out talking about Detroit zadina is on waivers I believe he has two years left at 1.85 million dollars per season uh now the reason for him being waived is simple uh eiserman's saying that basically he has to be traded weeks ago there really haven't been any takers on the trade market so you put them on waivers and see if anybody will take him for for nothing right and if that is not the case any Claire's waivers I would think next buyout window we may see zadina on the list of players getting bought out uh I had mentioned in the video I did yesterday for Detroit I didn't think that there was room for zadina on the roster and if he has to be traded weeks ago then Eiserman would have made some of the moves he did over the last few days with that idea that zadina's not going to be on the roster next season so we'll see where he ends up let me know your picks there and I will say this uh I I do think that with sadina there may still be some potential there I I don't know how much uh it is it is tough to tell he's still a young player the raw tools are there but it really hasn't worked out in in Detroit I I really totally understand why they put them on waivers I don't know that anybody picks them up on waivers but we'll find out within the next 24 hours let me know your thoughts in the comments section below as always which team do you think might pick him up on waivers and again I I don't think anybody does but we could be surprised uh don't forget to hit like And subscribe if you're browsing your way through you just happened upon this video thank you guys so much for watching for all your support I will talk to you again soon
