this is fredb from Fred dos fighting I'm joined by the main event Danny Simpson after your first fight week we're halfway through it press conf completed how do you find the Press there today that was interesting one it few fireworks um but it's from the last few days and what I've seen it was what I expected from some of the lads and uh and with Danny everything you know we we met a few times now um and yeah we're getting closer to to being in that ring with each other and I think yeah I think my I think we're both ready we've been quite chilled but we're ready has it been a little bit of a culture shock I've been ly if I said it wasn't I've done some press conferences in my life but nothing like that um and all me respectful ones yeah um but this is the reason why I signed up I said I said before in a press conference now I could be off playing golf now and paddle and chilling and but I'm here I want to have some fun and I want to have you know memories like this and honestly man that was I love that it was laughing me like what 14,000 people in this a very Arena Saturday night it's going to kick off I think it is what I've Just Seen cuz obviously everyone's off doing their own thing so that was when we was all together we was all together say in the gym but everyone was still off of their own but I think listen I've I've seen a few shows before and I think I think this one's going off I could I can just feel it yeah you got friends and family coming down to support yeah I have I have like I said it's I've always had me friends and family support me in football and they've not been able to for years so I think for them to come over and see something like this I'm Different they're they're all Buzz they're nervous but they're buzzing so yeah they're all coming over tomorrow on Saturday okay nice and how's it been this week you got very supportive team Pat Barrett No Nonsense everyone's a little bit afraid of Pat around here oh everyone when you say hello to Pat you say hey hey Pat he goes hey and then everyone keeps their distance so it's a good team to have with you this week very protective for sure very um I said I couldn't I couldn't have asked for anyone better in my corner with all the experience cuz it's all new to me um yeah he scares me is he scares you trust me but I listen to him um the nutritionist divide has been amazing cuz the cutting weight's been hard mate yeah that's been really tough but like I said listen I couldn't have done any more in this time I spoke to you a few weeks ago and everything's gone as well as I could have hoped and yeah we I think now we're nearly there make wait tomorrow and then and then we go how much weight have you got left to c um I've got one and a half or so to go yeah so in the end I would have done maybe 8 and 1 half in four weeks kg wow kg boss that's ni been hand that's quite a lot I'm telling you in in in four weeks so yeah it's that's been one of the toughest things while trying to learn how to box by the way but I feel like it was part of the experience and it's I felt I feel good H in terms of I look good I feel good it's been a while since I could say that that from on my football days I probably in better shape now I play football so Len yeah man it's I just hope everyone enjoys it cuz I said it's all new to me and I I hope they tune in and enjoy it and then I know I asked you for a prediction when we did the zoom interview and you said you'll give one a fight week can we get a prediction now for Saturday night I I think I'm going to stop him um I just feel ready now like I said we we all this that's going on uh how I feeling and I've seen a favorite let's be honest he's had 6 months so it's a nice it's a nice challenge to have um yeah I just know from what I've seen of him yesterday as well in the in the in the gym and his comments today I think he's going to go off and it's going to be exciting I think we're I think we're going to both have a good a good go and and yeah it'll be it'll be a stoppage St for sure anyway Danny I do appreciate it we got the ways tomorrow will you do your normal way in the morning then you can have a nice meal any plans where you want to go you know it's n you know Danny arens is a n black card oh well listen listen when I beat him I might have to borrow that Nando that's the best gift of all time you could ever get it's a black card to a restaurant I know I wish I knew that before this interview but yeah listen I love manando so yeah I might might see in there tomorrow as well so we'll see probably would probably would yeah I mean you should I mean you got n Black Card free food for life but yeah best of luck for tomorrow and I'll see you I see you Saturday what up man' cheers
