what intrigued you about the opportunity to come to Minnesota oh uh as soon as I spoke with KH and we had like u a meeting conference and he told me about the project showed me how also impressed me also how well you knew me and so on so the project really intrigued me and also speaking to the coach helped a lot did uh did khed express to you how he tried to sign you in the in the past did you know of that previously um no I don't know about that but the fact that he knew my SP director he knew me so well because I've been playing in Belgium the last 6 months and all this stuff make me intrigued also about the league and about the team You' played all over Europe Why move to MLS now at this point in your career yeah as I say I take um I take decision based on the project more than uh on the league because I know the plus the league because I know the MLS also is growing a lot so is a good uh how you say it in Italian say vetrina to show up your skills and uh move up uh to better also to Premier League or this kind of leagues too what are your first impressions of Minnesota and of the team oh the city is amazing I really like it um just told me about the cold I don't know about that but uh all in all is amazing the city the people the team also again very well with all of them and so I'm quite happy about my decision how would you describe yourself as a player energetic energetic uh I will say one of my strongest fit is mental uh above all but I'm a quite energetic fast and uh pre technical I say that nice you're sort of a big name coming into the team do you feel like you have to be a leader of the team now for sure for sure when you come to a team and uh the position the role that have given me is uh to help the team so what I try to do is uh like I approach every every game of my career is to go there and influence the game as much as possible is it difficult when the loans start to stack up it seems like some players go on loan and then it kind of another one leads to another is that challenging for somebody that has to bounce around a different teams yes yes uh it is it is but uh I think is also very good for for yourself to get to know yourself get to know where would you like and other places and so on so bouncing around like playing in different leagues also gave me a lot of experience so I played in a French Italian German and also when I was young Austrian and England so by playing all these f it build me up to be who I am now so I had to quite mature pretty quickly so it's a good experience also to have does it make it easier to do it again and and know that you can acclimatize to a new spot cuz you've done it so many times absolutely absolutely once you've been doing like five six times you can't you can't experience about that if you know what I mean but in generally yeah it does give you that is it a different experiencing coming somewhere where maybe people don't recognize you on the street or something like that yeah is but I I like it I like my my privacy so I don't mind having out that you know but a bit of both is always good but it's not something that let's say I give it too much talk about what's your relationship with your Uncle Tony and how much did he influence you in the game yeah surprisingly I spoke to him before making a decision because I always speak to him and I told him about hey I'm I'm looking I'm intrigued about the MLS and about the also how well they improving in soccer mhm in football uh so so and he told me yeah he he was also for my um expectation I didn't expect him to know much about it but he was actually knowing a lot about it and he told me wow this is actually a good opportunity I think you should take it I think could be a very good step for your career so once he said that also let's say give me also more that peace to take the decision on it so it was actually very helpful do you have any teammates or friends who played over here that you talked to before you made the decision no no actually no just uh through my agents and uh through the people the let's say they know and uh the league experience and so on what's your Fitness level like I know it's maybe been a little bit for a break or how's your how are you feeling I think we're going to see on Saturday yeah we're going to see on Saturday all
