[Music] rugby league is back drum roll please you're a true Warriors fan I have no recollection of that we don't all have to agree it's good to be B it's just a really boring thing pardon start winning some games I think there'll be a lot of changes to the team I've got them making the eight for mine let's go welcome back to the advantage line you're a One-Stop shop for all things NL in rugby league uh and uh unfortunately you'll notice that I'm in Studio by myself today no Carl tyly um some may think he's not here because the Ws were unable to send SJ off in his final home game up there at Shawn Johnson Stadium last weekend in the manner that uh would befit the prince of Penrose but no Carl is out out about doing good work he's uh at a movember uh meeting uh he's a big big supporter of movember and he's uh he'll have another some sort of golf tournament sorted out and one guy who knows about those golf tournaments would be one Nick toesy we welcome him back in once again the stust Paul the stust Paul it's August not November so absolute J from the get-go from Carl and if this has not to do with with last week's loss there's a lot of talk that SJ play his home he wouldn't shop this week there was no talk that Carl Ty wouldn't shop this week but sometimes Outsiders do get up very very disappointing not to have our I would have said once fearless leader leading the way but uh look we're all looking forward to uh the loosest goose of the house pawaii trying to keep a tight ship here so good luck uh shout out to all the the legal team team and T best of luck for the next hour and a half well yes um if you're listening to this uh later on this week then obviously it got through the senses um and we've got someone else joining us as well someone who was there up at Shawn Johnson Stadium last weekend um to call the game former Warrior a good friend Blake asford yeah thanks for having me back uh obviously hiia so last minute replacement 18th minute come in and uh father Ty has I think put a lot of pressure on me to be the older s sibling and just really make sure this runs smoothly and keep an eye on you two that's my he said the last words were remember this is now a radio show okay on there there's more chance the bunker getting a call correct for the W then you actually keeping control of what's going on today so by the time this one gets to radio it'll be look it'll look like one of those letters from prison where everything's redacted all the good parts are redacted you're just going to get G to get about four words out of a page so good luck listening to this one folks right um to start off uh why don't we just have a look at what we had a uh a punt on last week and and give us your best win um of last week um we'll stick with we'll start with you teddy because you probably had one or too I might have had 10 or 12 but it wasn't enough to make up for the 100 or so losers uh my best win of the weekend last week I'll uh um give you one for one for the NRL one for World sport uh I accidentally backed lyia Co twice in the uh women's uh British Open uh back to at the start of the tournament 25 to1 and then forgotten i' back to and then back to heading into the last round at about 12 to1 so uh absolutely chuffed to uh get that and the NL uh final total in the dragons um Sharks game was 48 and a half or managed to pinch from 47 A2 earlier in the day and then Braden trenle just jaged two from the sideline in the last eight minutes to uh send it over the total so that was a pretty uh a pretty happy win for me there which made up for let's just call it one we'll call it Black Saturday one of the great we'll go we'll go no further I'm I'm glad that you saw the quality in Lydia Co after she picked up that gold medal in Paris what a matter of three weeks or so ago it was nice it was just nice to see New Zealand the windfall we go yeah and there's another portion that'll be redacted before to the public Blake your best result from last week punting wise I actually I have these one once every three months I have this weekend where I just I'm outstanding and I go in the green quite high and then it won't happen for three months give it all back but on the weekend I was probably one of them had a lot of quinellas got the quty up at randwick but the big one I I at Belmont I'm a big uh look the pum brothers and [ __ ] always seem to be in and around whether it's trifectas quela or winners so I usually quelo or Trifecta all of them up and um I had a nice little win on the last race of Belmont it was a Pike in pum Quinella um just 10 on returning almost 200 so was I was quite happy with uh that result because they they're usually good things you know the pum boys Brad Steve and Chris then you throw in a bit of [ __ ] and uh Belmont's uh seem to be good to me a bit bit lately is it is there anything sweeter than winning the last at Belmont by cuz really there's not much more for you to do your cash on for the rest of the like you can't like the worst win you can have all day is the first Eagle Farm you're completely cting like I'm up and about like I be gone by race FL like Gamble responsi and all that but like you know Belmont you want to gamble responsibly find the winner in the last B thank thank you for that Tedy yeah um well I think I balanced the books then H because I didn't have a winning bet last week in fact my most successful bet um was picking up one leg of a four- leg multi that's how I went um I guess let's stick with the um the punting theme at the moment and we'll just go back and see what we all did last week um with our $100 NRL wise and I can tell you it was not a good week for anyone uh on the advantage line podcast uh Blake you had the storm to win by 13 or more into the Sharks to win by 1 to 12 um not quite I will say though Paul I I I spoke about my good weekend if the Sharks were to win 1 to 12 let's just say I probably would have had the week off work not only for this but the wasn't just on here there was a couple of those bets play so really hurt when they kicked away at the end and you also had a same game multi uh SJ to score a try was and over 36 a half points unfortunately uh that was not successful Carl uh once again he's protecting his lead um he had a couple of bits W 1 to 12 dwz oh this was his um chat GPT b w one to 12 dwz to score a try Fu Blake to score a try and the W to score 20 or more points that was paying just over $60 uh unfortunately un successful and then he had the Panthers to win by 13 or more at 220 also unsuccessful as a single Teddy uh what do you have here over 53 a half in the Tigers manly game that was um surpassed quite easily uh then you had penth minus 9 a half and Newcastle head-to-head unfortunately the Panthers let you down there and then you had a double uh Jerome Lui and Victor rley both to score tries also no good 40 only 48 points from the roosters and three tries by second rows but uh n n to Big Victor any chance we go right boys any chance we can go right that's CU kryon just he just does not know how to not score a try these days he's a machine just a huge huge comeback after the season before anyway and I had the was to win into the dragons 13 or over um ridic close Absol absolutely ridiculous right L's divided opinion so we'll keep it in for this uh week and today's divided opinion is well there's only two weeks to go in the regular season um so with a number of teams in fact there's only two points separating eighth uh and 12th places at the moment so there's a log Jam for that final spot um to make the top eight so if you look at the last two rounds who have you got making the eight and who have you got just missing out in Ninth Place the the team that just can't quite get there Teddy I've got some George making it um I kind of went this week thinking the Broncos would be the team to beat Bon George param and camra and I've got winning both games so um with that Advantage I'll be on them the Dolphins Broncos winner will be the one that will just miss I think picking the Broncos I give the the Dolphins a massive chance here pick if if Marshall King returns them so um I'm going to go Dolphins to be the team to just miss out Blake are you thinking along the same lines as tiedy have you got uh I sort of I sort of was um but I've gone when I I look back at it and I've just G those three teams I think out of the three teams the dragons the Broncos and the Knights um I don't think the Dolphins I think they're just on a massive slide um now if I'm look at that dragons I think struggle to win back-to-back games I think they've only done it once this year I think they'll beat Paramount this week but the Raiders might put up a tough fight the last week and come out and win it's 50/50 for me they struggle to go back toback the dragon so uh Broncos they have to beat the storm next week who I think um will most probably have at least a couple players back you know be full strength next week You' think players yeah so very unlikely um I think the Broncos can win this week just because they they've beaten I look back at the past lineups when they've beaten the Dolphins and it's never been a full strength lineup like they won't have this week so I think they can do the job this week I actually have the knights sneaking into the eight I have them beating the Titans and the Dolphins both at home um and I think they can can sneak in there obviously the four and against will be a factor but that that would be the only thing for me um the four and against might be the tough one but I think the knights can do it and sneak in I can't believe it I can't and who did you have just missing out I had just missing out I had the dragons ninth Broncos 10th I'm thinking along the same lines as Blake here I've got the knights making it as well I've got them winning out and I've got the dragons losing to the Raiders in the final week the pivotal game for mine is this Saturday night the Dolphins Broncos that the Dolphins have been poor the last few weeks but if there's one team that Wayne Bennett would like this team to get up for I'm sure it would be against the Broncos so he could he could pull one out of the bag here and get the uh the Dolphins up and going and if uh Jeremy King is available I agree with Teddy they will present it gives him a much better balance because then PL goes back to the 13 and that forward back looks a lot more balanced than when he's in the nine jersey so if Jeremy Marshall King plays I think this this becomes a coin toss of a coin game um but I had the knights just making the eight and the dragons just missing out um but if the Dolphins upset the apple cart this weekend well that could all get turned on its uh head well the trouble with that with the Knight the only trouble with the Knights is what I see is obviously the foreign against because the minor 70 and if you think the Broncos will win this week um you know they they're there in the Plus or if the Dolphins win this week you know they still got a 50 almost a 50 point start on the knights so that would be the only thing with the Knights but in saying that they do play the Titans this week who are very leaky at the moment as a fan of the 10 Locker to come fifth I would do anything for the knights to be the team to sneak in because Adam O'Brien's record of when he somehow sneaks there's never been a worst coach I'm I'm not saying he's the worst coach a worst coach who who's had more unjustified finals runs than than Adam O'Brien he must have jamed him into the final three or four times during his existence they' barely won a game and they would get absolutely Smoked by they were worst him the dragons for mine I think you you both make a very compelling case for for the but I would love for them to come out would love it well this is the sort of thing they did last season the nights they went on a run um to squeeze into the eight uh and then were dispatched quite convincingly um so it wouldn't surprise me to see them sneak in there as a as a fan though I really do hope the dragons make it I know I only had them winning one or two games this year but can you imagine a bulldog's Dragon semi-final at aore they'll go close to selling that out if not they they Pro most likely would it' be elite and dogs will still be 16 and half one [Laughter] favorites sensation I look forward to can I take the line now or you want the minus of the plus um I got another question for you boys before we move on um and Blake we'll probably head to you first seeing as you've probably seen this from the Inside Out do the Ws get a fair go from officials when you compare it to other teams look it's it doesn't seem like it but I I don't get in on the whole conspiracy theory I think I think what happened on the weekend was bad and I think over many years there have been bad calls but I purposely don't think that they say this is the Warriors let's not uh give them penalties um we do know that the better teams do get favored that's a that's an obvious and you can make that argument um the teams higher up in the ladder do get the usually they win the the penalty count more often than not or they do get allowed with more but I think that was just a really bad call I I on the weekend and actually basically over the whole year that was probably one of the worst calls I've seen this year um in regards of consistency around everything else are we talking about are we talking about where Roger two of us viciously headbed s c and shoulder yeah I don't know if it's that one or the one where Mitch Barnett almost broke his eye socket I I don't know I don't know which one it was hard because only one's getting talked about but yeah it's it's hard to tell but look that I understand as a fan and that point you you you do think that could because it keeps occurring but um look I I I don't believe in The Conspiracy Theory yeah I wasn't going to bring titty in on this one because I think I already know uh his response um but Teddy your thoughts on that yeah it's absolutely garbage that the Warriors have been victimized here it was a shocking call like he should have been he was luy enough to be S off last week St like it was that bad and for once everyone in rugby league is in full of G including gram manle he didn't even try to defend it like they have if bad enough that escaped onfield punishment but for the bunker to review it and then not s him is ridiculous but it's just the overall incompetency of the officials at the moment like it is is happening to yeah what probably happens to more bad teams and good teams that's because I would say good teams tend to be more disciplined than than the poor teams but bad decisions are happening everywhere there is absolutely no and it's a structural problem you shouldn't have eight different people all have who for the most part are onfield referees as well who have their own biases and not in terms of four against teams but in how they how they view the game it should be a group of three or four people who do every single game and that will bring back more consistency I'd say it's got nothing to do with the Warriors and more to do about the overall structural problems and the the the the lack of accountability currently within the officiating rank again the onfield the onfield riffs they do they do video sessions just like the the nro players do so they have like oh this person's offs side continuously he's on the left side Center they they things they watch so you know that you can point to that in a way that there are people like at Jared arraes what har Graves he you know constantly gets penalties against him but it's because they watch people and they they learn their Tendencies so they've got tip sheets like every week and and the buckers in their a reading the tip sheets out look out for Jared look out for yeah and and I I think exactly you're right Teddy that there needs to be some consistency in the bunker with people pay them whatever they want but have the same person or or have them doing this game or however they see fit you just can't continuously have different people because you see on Friday night there was two s bins for head highs yeah and they were they w g to send muray they were gon to send Murray to the S bin either until obviously someone got there here and and that's the thing so it's like why why was it just that game so that's why I believe to your point Paul you know there's a lot of people saying well is there a bias because it happened all over the weekend except for the one game what what what drives me n is this though so to me an onfield referee you pretty much need two skills you need to know the rules of the game and you need to be super fit well to sit in the bunker you need only one of those skills you know the rules of the game you're cutting out 95% 98% of people who aren't fit enough to be a referee from doing a good job in the bunker you can find three or four fat BLS like me who know the rules who could like who who without without any of the biases who who who know the game through and through obviously you're not going to include me I've got too much of a gambling uh uh uh disposition but like you you you you cut away all this St and and Jimmy Smith made a good point on his radio show on scn last we years these referees compete with each other for the good spots so if Jared something's in the back he might not be necessarily favors for Ashley kin you know what I mean say he's deliberately going out way but they're competing with each other like like they've got different views of the game if you find so for example you get us three in the bunker every week we discuss what we think's a tral we discuss what we thinks a a high deserve s we we know what that is so we among ourselves are talking about we aren't trying to get Grand finals we're in the Grand Final we're the only three doing the bunker in every game that's the kind of that's the kind of structural changes that's required for me and open up the game to Fat BLS unfit blocks old blocks who who know the game through and through but just don't have the fitness to go and be onfield official so do you think that officials in the bunker should shouldn't be on field referees yesp I think I I not even to that point Paul I would not even let them ever talk to a referee outside of the bunker but these people should be kept completely separate and get away from the disease ridden like culture that is in their fish where you think the thing that really gets me is this I'm smarter than you con we go back to uh Tri from the storm against PS a couple weeks ago where Nathan clear got taken out ISAC Tango made the bad bad decision it 100% should be a try in a vacuum but based on everything we've seen this year that's been called back every single time You' all of a sudden have to try that way because Jared su's like thecid he he want he wants common sense to you can't have that that is the there there's some cultural issues and accountability issues there that that are really poor but L Kenny got dropped for everything this week there was AB I have my last dollar that he will be back next week well he was he he got dropped Teddy from the and then he was the touch judge in the dragon sharks g y on the weekend's the punishment then like where where's the immediacy so yeah it drives me up one thing that I would love to see that that and I I get super frustrated watching these anly press conferen on a Monday where he selectively brings out the bunker uh uh audio at times it through him the bunker audio should be live and available at all times and that would really stop some of the rubbish that's being talked into their ear I'd bet that because I would love to have heard the conversation that went on with Kennedy and the bunker after the kryon H shot and then I would love to have heard what went on in the talk with Chris Butler and Cameron Murray when he got when that he was down for ages they talked about it he got put on a report and then all of a sudden he siming I want to hear the call from GRE going are you going to put him in the bloody bin because I'm sure that's what happened PA Paulie just one thing and I this might R Teddy up a bit the one thing I like in about Rugby Union and I saw it the other week in the test was was uhas Garder I think the referee they were going to give a penalty and the the bunker in that the TMO whatever it is was saying oh he's connected with the head and then he said oh I think it's only that there's no real force in it I think it's just the penalty so I think the referee should have the ability to look at it and go back and say oh I believe it was just this I was two meters away from it I could see that there was no real Force to it and and like they can have that conversation where we can all hear it I think that might be a way too I think we've just solved a whole lot of problems for the n in the last 5 or 10 minutes so hopefully uh someone's listening and we can get a we bit more consistency um maybe into next season because uh I found a little stat on Twitter uh earlier this week and obviously it's 100% true um it's around it's around all the times the Ws have been um on the wrong side or not getting the rub of the Green from officials and uh we only have to go back to I think it was Jamie sammon in round 18 um late in that game where once again I think he took a warrior out late and fairly High um and nothing not even a penalty not even a penalty yeah but it was even it was evened up by the fact that we were playing jamman s so he's back in again yeah I'm well aware I'm well aware for you know what St staff infections don't last as long as they want St oh my there's another rediction uh the views of Nick dadisi uh not condoned or or indeed I'm also I'm also not a doctor Paul so uh should we move on to the grid let's get out of this uh mess that we've created and if you're GNA do the grid this is a 0.97 oh gee uh I've got Neville costan 1.67 Brett Seymour 4.35 and Israel fow brain 0.97 what that what that what have that happened to him he uh he left rby League in 2010 never heard from him again there we go nice little side 13.6 PA now I've got you cracking I uh I think I finished second on 17.2 oh boy oh boy one of my best scores ever 27.2 um where were you on the leaderboard titty when you uh when you did it I was like 18th it's pretty late in the day so I thought one I lived in camra for eight years when I was uh during the went to Union and just after so I got a lot of early 2000s Raiders knowledge which helped me as opposed to the usual Warrior stuff that usually pops up on a Tuesday that's what we want we always need a Warriors jerse day uh a Warriors jersey on the NRL Tuesday so that we can sort of even things up and um we'll we'll we'll get closer to Teddy I'm sure right let's have a look back at uh last weekend and was it round 25 last weekend there are a number of upsets uh and I noticed over the first I think it was the first three games of round 25 if you got out to an early lead really wasn't the best thing for you the Eagles I think got out to 16 n against the Tigers the Ws got out to 12 n against the dogs and the eels I think got out to 16 or 12 nil against the Broncos and all three of those teams then went on to lose um but if you look back last week Teddy is there any one of those well any game from last week you want to just have a look at and and pull out a couple of things well I'm guessing no else to bring it up so let's go with the warrior Bulldog to kick off with uh look it was I thought they did a wonderful job sending off Shan Johnson in terms of the pre-match and all that was uh the last Ro tier I can remember on a 4 F was Wayne Pierce M at like up back in the day so um in a pre-match so uh I did laugh hysterically when he got thrown the first ball the tears were still in the eyes and uh he coughed it up um but that's just what the dogs have been doing lately like the dogs are just getting into the grind and I don't know that there's a team in the comp at the moment who could out grind the Bulldogs other teams are more brilant and can absolutely blow the Bulldogs away but the Bulldogs are just showing a tremendous amount of patience and I don't think of let in any more sorry eight times this year of held team scores in the second half which is a remarkable effort so they they're back in their Fitness they're backing their goal def they're back in they they're now back their ability to score late in game so um dogs didn't panic when never like 12 points last year or 12 points each over the last decade would have been enough to beat the dogs we we we would have come from behind team but um couple of balls just want to play Harry Hayes looks like a real likely Prospect From the Bench he's a big body plenty of effort plenty of heart and got a nice and LL on him so uh likeing his work and Bronson Sherry I like I I really never expect him to be is good this year he play one year was obviously I think Rookie of the Year had a great season for the Sharks drugs four years never expecting him to return with the football senses he's got like he is just showing a great like his defensive reads are wonderful he runs a real runs that real courageous kind of hard ball line like little out to win like he's doing everything right so um yeah super impressed with the dogs with with the Warriors like I just think in the end you're at CL you're at class by better team and um once the emotion of that start kind of wore off it it really become a pretty difficult task for um uh for the W there but um I don't think lost lost too many of mors but I think the question's going to be now what do you do next year with that fullback slot like Chan's been given he's been moved to the centers this week I think we'll get to that bit later but you know I imagine a fall off they're going to be moving they're going to be moving the fullback next year yeah well hopefully they'll only be playing against on the field at one time the W next season um that might help them pick up that win percentage I would I wouldn't back on it based on the long list you've got Paul Blake um I'm guessing you might want to mention the Tigers after that well I just wanted to stay on that game for a bit yeah yeah yeah I like with the the Warriors I and and I'm not saying they would have won that CU I don't think they would have but has there been a team and we talk about injuries we in week out but we talk about it in injuries like you know during the week that they're out for the have we has there been a team that's lost more players during a game like I think the last time they played the dogs they lost their two centers they lost their two centers again on the weekend like they they've I reckon they've had the most injuries during a game than any other team this year and and I don't I still don't think they would have won the game but I I don't know how they go about it where they training they have to just start using everyone just train there GO train in the center because that's what seems to happen you KB's probably played more Center this year than he has a back row um but on the dog side Teddy Bronson Cherry he's 23 and unbelievable amazing and you know what I think the game now suits him better than it did when he first started because back then it was more defensive orientated the game got slowed down the centers weren't as effective they were more used back rowers centers um whereas was early on like you know the late 2008 2009 probably till about 2011 12 the P years well yeah well you could shift the ball to the centers you know it wasn't like a like that that's probably suited him a bit more and you see it now and the Bulldogs the way the Bulldogs play is so exciting to watch because they tend to throw it around a lot and their strikes obviously both their edges so yor cry and Cherry adocar and Carz and you've also got a kick out there with the Preston so they shift the ball they don't really stay in the middle third overly often because we got we got we got pretty ordinary props yeah but the the thing is like they can throw it around and their completion rate's so bad but when you've got a M Burton in your team did you see that kick on the weekend he was from his own 25 DNC was back there he read it and he still kicked it over his head and like when you've got something like that I I actually think they can win the comp and that's not even a word of a lie the way they're structured the way they play footy it's like they don't care if they make a mistake cuz they'll defend it but if they don't if they only make 20 meters on a set you've got Burton who can kick you out of trouble every set yeah on dangerous just a cou point to that as well like that's why those Center injuries have hurt you guys more this year than it would have five years ago putting Cable in the centers five years ago it's fine like it was another second rower this year leaving C on an island out there as good a player as Kurt C is he's not a center anymore and that and that and that exposes I think that that has hurt you guys mly a few times this year as well I recall of just being left there without any centers you just you really be putting a a genuine Center on the on the bench um but I think you're right I was kind of not really believe the ball is win the cop with parents kind of coming back to the pth and the way the way the dogs are playing absolutely that can win the cop m I'm I don't I don't think I'd be scared of any team in the come I think we couldn't win a game I think melv start favorites against us P start favorites r s favorites dogs have got the ability to do it and one of the things I love with how they've been coached at the moment is that they're playing to their strengths like black said strength are at wide so what do we do we play out wide like not just do the follow the leader of what every team used to do just like well Craig Bellamy does this so every team's got to play this exact same style like it's it's like if you're if you're a different and when you built differently play your strengths and and the bogs are playing with playing with width playing without fear but also playing like extremely dis they're not throwing the ball around willly nearly they're spreading it early or they're spreading it late or they're not just oh we've had two bad play the balls and we're going to throw the ball wide like they kind of know when to do it and they got the greatest get out jail free card of all time Burton boot cuz if you get five suck inside 20 he's still going to get you out of there you mentioned the Panthers coming back to the pack slightly Teddy after that L to CRA should Panther fans be a wee bit more weary I would think so like that's three poor performances in a row that should have lost a par lost to the Storm at home and then lost to the Raiders now there's been excuses but I thought I thought they played quite arrogantly on the weekend for a team without without clear they're not they're not adjusting their game plan particularly well and there just been a lack of energy that we haven't really seen from Perth like this whole decision to drop Tera yeah it might be the I don't know but like they've won a lot with Tera and they haven't been winning a lot with Dan laor in the wing so and I admit D Lor probably is a better player but it's not always about picking the best players it's about picking the best team so yeah the the the backup half which had served them so well over the years that the Jack coger role Brad Schneider has been poor and Jack Cole's now out for the year so they're in some St there the good news to P is I don't think the clear inju is as bad as um firstect I would expecting he play next week so is the male I'm getting out of out of page C so um all's not lost for sure but J they're playing for Min Premiership two weeks ago now they're struggling to St the top four Blake your tigers um look if they're going to play the seagull there's only one ground they should play at and that's like heart oval because for some reason the seagull just don't like hitting West out to lart oval and taking on the Tigers there and they got out they got off to a nice start the SE Eagles and boy oh boy uh I think off the energy of Corel just been immense for them he's just been that little spark that starts them um starts their momentum getting back into a game but there were you could name a number of players who played very very well for the tigers look I think there's some life in them now that they've got you know a couple of signings some good signings you know you've got a lii and things coming and now Stefano's obviously said he's going so there's rest there they know who's coming who's going at the moment I still think there's one or two signings to be had um but look I I love everything about Lan Galvin at the moment um you know you see a lot of teams the seven will play on one side the six will play on the other or someone will just take control he was in everything he would play to a backr on the left he pop up but then you've also got that upy carusa threat that you spoke about Paul um it's exciting and it's it's exciting but frustrating at the same times because you see what they can do but you know they just don't have the quality of players to match uh week in week out at the moment like they be good when they get a couple more players it's just the the quality of players they just have at the moment are not uh capable of competing week in week out with other NRL teams and what it has done though is set us up for The Wooden Spoon bowl next week um sorry it is good how good is it just you know that you've got at least something there next we I can't remember the last time there was a wooden spoon Bowl it might have been like round 24 or something but now we're last round they're going head-to-head tigers to win slot they hate each other I'll tell you what as much as I love a bog Premiership the tight run thing as to what to prefer a Bulldogs Premiership or an Neil's wooden spoon so come on Tigers any other games you want to touch on from last week Tedy um boy the storm just keep rolling along um way too good for the Dolphins uh The Roosters scary they're scary yeah I just I don't know they should have put they should have put seven they should have put seven on that that's exactly what I thought too my way with the r is they're drifting out of games and something like it's almost like they buy their own hype they read their own they read their own paper their own newspaper like it's when I think they they can score anyone at the moment I think they and I I put it down to the final four you know it's taken usually at this time of the year it's usually are the Panthers will play this team but I think it's down penrith Bulldogs roosters and Melbourne at this time yeah I think any one of those four I think they'll be the last four in it yre if you look at the halves around the there are some there are a number of halves who do have very very big kicking games the biggest is probably Matt Burton but your likes of Jamal foggy uh at the Raiders Adam Reynolds at the Broncos can has got a pretty big boot on him um it really does I guess save the for it it really does say you're almost getting um an extra tackle um with a with a guy who's got a big big boot on him um and as you say if you can keep a team inside the 30 or inside the 40 for their six and they don't have a kicker then you're usually going to be starting your set um from a very very good uh good position so it's not surprising to see Jerome Hughes at the storm he's another one who's not just a got a bit of distance on him but he's very very accurate with his kicks as well so um we'll leave it at that for last week we'll have a look at this weekend and I don't know what games you want to have a look at but I I tell you there's one game that really sticks out for me punting wise and that's the Thursday night game the North Queensland Cowboys in the Melbourne storm I think the market has overreacted here and I'm very very keen to take the 12 and a half that the storm again I'm I'm happy to take them head-to-head as well at around $410 I'm Teddy you got any numbers that would uh help me out here yeah I'm with you complain on this one I was stunned at the move here considering that I I don't think the storm arrest in as many as I thought they would I know the rested eight starters still got the pat still got monster still got wish F Longo like there's there's a pretty hand of Christian Welsh's An Origin player like you know these aren't no names coming into the side you know gr has to play half backs a bit of a concern but you um also the the Cowboys have covered just three of their last uh 13 at home uh the the uh underdogs are scoring 48 them all cover at 68% and are scoring 408 Plus cover 71% in the back end of the season so storm covered five six I think they can cover this I think they can win as well Blake I look at the storm Yep they're Thursday night specials they've played five games on a Thursday night this season they've won all five that includes wins against the roosters um and the Panthers um so just I look at it and I just can't understand why they are so they're just not like by The Bookies at all on Thursday night oh it's definitely like you said overreaction but there are a couple of names that if you're not you know into the game and don't look at the Grassroots and the new South ises cup and things you wouldn't or Queensland cup you probably wouldn't know um the other one uh Chan in the back row I I saw a stat on Instagram it could have been he's won he's on a 10 game winning streak or won first 10 games in the NRL so he's undefeated so there there's a lot of little things in there you can look at but look I'd be taking the 12 and a half with it um yes they can win but I just think the Cowboys have got a lot a lot to play for and look we know that hasn't always worked out well for them but um I I think the 12 and a half is pretty safe you very rarely see a Melbourne team get blown out even when they have no one playing Teddy your dogs taking on the seat Eagles um you're $157 favorites Manley $2.40 are you this is a pretty important game uh yeah pretty important game um and dogs dogs are no certainties in this one I've said the last few weeks they they du let down manle I've absolutely had the wood on the Bulldogs like one n of the last 10 they scor 31 or more than six last I know this is a new dog te so that kind of stuff should be taking a great of salt dogs have covered 15 the last 20 so i' tell the Market's generally got them wrong n of 10 at night but man they've covered 10 the last 30 and Underdog yeah I'm I'm tipping can but I won't be I won't be all in on the ball of M that's for sure BL did you want to have a little word on that dog seagull game yeah look I I think 240 is a good price to be honest I I look at I I wouldn't be really jumping at it um but mainly with the start I do like like also I I think the Bulldogs just need a loss before the semis yeah it be this we or next week I just think they need to have one just to refocus and and sometimes like we're just saying that sometimes you can go through a winning streak and then just continue it on um but yeah I I think manly areow a chance in this one a massive chance especially after losing to the Tigers last week um Panthers very hot favorites against the Rabbid o do4 Bunny's 575 the eels and the dragons well the Tigers will be hoping the dragons uh the dragons do them a big big favor and and knock over the eels eels w't matter won matter oh it doesn't it all comes down of course they get the two points anyway yeah yeah um Dolphins there's actually a little rumor going around that may rest a couple of players to try and get ready for the W spoon ball which could be all time the one the one person that should be wrestling is Trent B for the last game but it is there oh we've got we've got the Trent Barrett de in there straight give us a Trent Barrett stat will you please T 454 his last four years head coach and sad time only two more games left you would imagine his career as a head coach so um I'll enjoy I'll enjoy this for the penultimate time you almost skipped past that real fast Paul he managed to get one in uh Dolphins Broncos uh big Derby there dolphins 290 Broncos a142 DOL do not with a chance now one Paul you you know a team coming off what is it a 40 plus loss win you usually you've got a stat that says they bounce back they bounce back teams are considering 48 plus kind of in the post origin period cover it 69% but the Dolphins they've covered six their last eight off um a loss of thir and plus and in the both games they've consider in their last two they've considered 40 plus they've covered so um I think I think that'll be lifting I really love the probable of German Marsh King as well you mentioned ear like pass a great player pass the tackle Marsh King's a Creator and I think that'll be important so um and that they were in that storm game for a long time I think it was 60 after half an hour like it all went went went sale very quickly but and that's obviously a concern itself but the three games against the Broncos have all been close I think margins have been 48 and 14 so they've covered two and three dolphin so I'll I'll give the fs a run here at the plus but also fancy they can win this well off the Blake Dolphins Broncos I I think the Broncos I I'll go into it more in my bets but I think the Broncos will get the job done just on PA past previous games um but yeah look I I I think the Dolphins will make it close I don't think it's going to be a white was it it the Dolphins seem to always be in a lot of games and make it tough for teams with they're in in the lead or they they're coming home strong but I I think the Broncos get it done very short very short they are a bit short uh sharks do1 18 Warriors $5 um Teddy mentioned earlier Char nickel clad heads into the centers to replace RTS of course who can't play uh 20 picky takes the number one Jersey the Ford pack um has a I'm going to say this is probably what Webby would have had as his number one pack uh from week one if everyone had been healthy um possibly uh but it's going to be a tough tough ask uh heading over to Shark Park to take on the Sharks and of course Nico Hines is named in the reserves so there's a possibility that we may see him back as well Teddy is there anything you can any sort of morsel that you can hand Warriors supporters around them plus the points maybe no no this is a this is a a minus job here unfortunately for uh say I from uh I don't know how that bounce back from theemotion of last week this this could this game could not mean any less to them surely like you know the last week s the big farewell for all their departing players sharks are very good a big favorite and very good when they score well 11 of the last 15 the w 4 and thir in to spread getting four a more start not ideal uh they got a poor record of consing 30 plus 11 7 inning to spread and bottom four teams off a loss of seven or more cover at 41% so I think it's going to be pretty in glorious end for pretty uh disappointing season for the W geez that goes everything against the bed I'm going to put up tell us why the Ws are a chance here mine's more just you know being in that position before myself my last game had to go play Cambra it was the last round we're already out there was nothing to play for and you know you had some people who were didn't have the best years but they were individually back to their best in that game somehow so it's more just a a looking at the price at five bucks 14 and a half Head Start I I just think they can make a game of it's probably better better for them if niik hind does play to be honest because without nikin so you Chuck nikoh hin back in and I think it disrupts it a bit because he's going to be the main ball handler so I I look I I just as more just to play um for myself being in that situation before I think sha will go out and just look you talk about the emotion last week there also was a lot of pressure to do it at home in front of a soldout crowd your last home game ever now you're going over to a place yeah you had a a couple couple of games but and I do this every week I look at the Warriors team and I go how is this team not in the top eight because on paper they look a lot better than most teams but the game's played out there in between the white lines and I just give them a a chance with the line I don't think they'll be winning but I think they can at least put up a fight right couple of games on Sunday do you want to touch on either of them M tit uh I think we are in for an absolute points f in the Newcastle Titans game I think it going to look like uh um The Roosters game last week I think this is going to hit the over hit the over very early on um so i' be looking to play around some kind of KH Pereira you know two three plus tries in that one um I I give the Titans a massive chance here too like they are you mentioned that the warriors uh don't B four team I don't think the Titans look like a team that should be as bad as they are and their last three weeks have been app hor there's no disputing any of that they are a much much better team that like they beat you know they beat the Broncos in the middle of the year they push some good teams I think eight and a half against Newcastle I think are a bang average team and I also think they're a team that have no upside as well I think that they are just they play a conservative brand of football they a br best back which certainly helps and if the if the knights come out and one it would it's not going to be a massive shock but I think the Titans can win the stick so um them and I give camra a smokey chance against the roosters I'm not um not in love with it but a few numbers here that got me excited teams are scoring eight in more against penth over the last four years 21 and six against the spr the next week TS to go well against the Panthers the whole form they've covered six of seven inter state getting 4 or more points so I'm going have a small bit on the plus here like yeah you seem to be very very keen on the overs in that nights Titans game as well um a fairly leaky defense on both certainly the Titans but they with the likes of KH Pereira they can certainly score a few points as well he's um news flash he's a very fast man I can't wait for this race that's gonna happen apparently who who who who your back who's you who's the favorite camp or sa over 100 I'd go sa I just think over the 100 he gets going that up once he gets up those long strides will chw him up at the end but I I think over a quick one um you're probably more inclined to do a KH pero or someone else um but yeah look oh looking at that game mate I I'm feel like Teddy it couldn't be close but I'm I think it could be like 34 32 or something the amount of and and the Knights have plenty of points in them we saw that yes against a bad rabbit team um I I still yet to see pong at his best he's been slowly creeping up each game I just think for them to go to that next level and to make the top eight um I think he needs to step the game up a bit more Bradman best will help um but like you said you know for feda with for and still there like these players can put on points whenever they want as well so high scoring game but I don't like that Teddy is gone for the Plus in the Raiders because once again another one of my bits I'm looking at and I need to start conversing with Teddy before these bits on I've been so out of form the last few weeks like it might well and truly work in your favor I don't love the Raiders there's a few numbers that pushed me into them but like the roosters got so many points in them that if the roosters come out one yeah by 40 it's not going to shock anyone is it no well can uh now that we're talking of punting why don't we get to what we're going to actually um have a go at this weekend and I can tell you that Carl has sent his bit through for this weekend just the one bit it's a thre leg multi he's got the roosters minus 7 a half the dogs head-to-head and the Knights head-to-head that comes out at $3 he's got the whole hundred on so a little thre leg multi for car roosters minus dogs head tohe head Knights head tohe head Blake you want to you want to take us through your I guess getting strategy this weekend I've got two bets on I've got a multi uh I got the Broncos 1 to 12 spoke about I think it's going to be tied I think the Broncos will win U Manley plus six and a half got on the alter alternate handicap there and the Warriors plus 14 and a half 19 $ on at $980 uh my last 10 I'll be having same game multi on the roosters game I've got Dominic young two tries Daniel tupo two tries roosters 13 plus over 51 and a half what was that that was only that's $18.7 so $10 on that one whoh Teddy if that happens I want no I just I'm even more convinced about the storm now on Thursday night they're 5 and0 this season on the Thursday night their biggest loss this season has been by seven points um so they they're always in games they just I mean they've won quite a few close ones to be fair but they just haven't no team has run over the top of them and done and they've had players out from their spine for a a number of games this season so most of the Season yes yeah so they're not really this is not foreign territory for them having Jerome Hughes out although in my opinion he has been the best in that in that Team all season long the best in the C and it'll be a travesty if he doesn't win if he because of the buy well not the buy but because he's not playing this weekend does it makes it just a we more interesting I guess um but so punting wise I'm going to take the storm plus 12 a half I was very very tempted to put them in head to head at $410 but I will do that personally but for the purposes of this Melbourne storm plus 12 and a half I'm going to take the dragons to bounce back against param and the news that Teddy said that maybe the eels might be resting one or two just makes me even more encouraged so the dragons head to-head and the last leg over 5050 and a half points in the knights Titans game that comes out at $62 the whole 100 on hopefully I can get half halfway back to zero after this week it's it's been a rough all go unfortunately um don't don't don't chase your Lo losses punters no that's not what I'm doing I'm respon I'm being very responsible here so thank
