what's going on guys radioti here and today I want to talk to you guys about some movie news so Joker 2 has had its First Reactions come out over the past 24 hours and it's not looking too good it debuted on Rotten Tomatoes with a rotten score it was like 56 or 59 it's now as of this recording at 60% uh first of all I'm kind of shocked that First Reactions are coming out this soon considering the movie doesn't come out for another month usually First Reactions are about a week or two before the film comes out so this is a pretty early First Reactions for a film here's what IGN had to say unfortunately the DC sequel gets bagged down by a lengthy courtroom Saga which not only keeps the dazzling Lady Gaga away from the spotlight but centers the movie entirely around its own predecessor without doing or saying anything new yikes there's other reviews and reactions but just the fact that the first reactions to this movie are so mixed makes me even more worried than usual because I was already kind of skeptical about Joker 2 due to the fact that it's a musical like I just don't see how you go from the first Joker movie to the sequel being a musical it's like is this movie embarrassed to be a comic movie and a musical because there's also been things I've read of Lady Gaga saying it's not really a musical and I've also seen things about Lady Gaga isn't really playing Harley Quinn is like sort of a new take on the character or something I don't know this movie just sounds like a complete [ __ ] mess they should just left Joker at Joker 1 I don't even know why we needed a sequel in the first place I'm just tired of these super villain movies where they can't even have the main character like look at Venom there's no Spider-Man that he's fighting in those movies look at Joker Batman's not even in those movies look at Craven and morbius there's no Spider-Man they're going to be fighting in those movies it's like if you're going to give us a super movie you need to actually have the hero they're known for in their movie at some point so if you weren't going to do Batman in a Joker 2 why even do a Joker 2 at all the whole point of Joker is that he's a villain to Batman I don't know it's just it's giving me red flags I'm very nervous to see this film I feel like they're going to screw it up I don't have much faith in this movie the trailers look all right but trailers are just marketing so yeah this isn't looking good for Joker 2 so far I mean I hope the mov is good but these First Reactions are saying otherwise it's sort of mixed which we still have a month to go of reviews and reactions coming out so we shall see I'll judge the movie for myself I'm hoping it'll be good and that's about all I can do for now until the movie comes out in a month we shall see so yeah what do you guys think about this are you still excited for Joker 2 or is just kind of kill your excitement a bit I mean I know the first Joker movie doesn't have the best reviews but I think what makes this in particular so alarming is the fact that it was already kind of a movie I was nervous for due to it being a sequel but now it's getting mix reviews a whole month before it even releases so what's it going to look like when it actually does release is this going to go up or is it going to go down only time will tell but yeah let me know what you guys think down in the comment section down below and feel free to subscribe cuz when Joker 2 does come out I will be reviewing it we'll be talking about it some more hope you guys enjoy the video and I will see you next time
