Delta Air Lines A350 Diverts to Cleveland Hopkins Quick Live Stream

yes one of those they change their name okay good afternoon welcome to this diversion warning edition of spotting from Cleveland Hopkins International Airport we had an Delta Airlines a350 divert in from Detroit out of Shanghai a few minutes ago so I booked it up here straight from work realized hey I still have my camcorder in my book bag so I figure why not we'll go live for a little bit hope you guys are having a great day it's pretty quiet right now uh with the weather coming we do have some storms that'll be coming in our way here in a little bit too so we're going to go live as long as we can we'll see how things go we're pretty far away from the airport now but I wanted to be in line for the departure so it's expected to go out at 7:25 but the estimated is 8:30 so hopefully they get out of here before the storms hit before it gets too dark and we'll try to get this uh Delta Airlines a350 that's here for you so no warning I know the dates are probably wrong but I wanted to come up here and get something for you can't quite see it from over here though it's behind I think it's behind the building so turned into a stop but it didn't we still show the 44 as well looking at their updates in the we're actually under a severe thunderstorm watch here right now I believe the warnings the strongest thunderstorms are hitting to uh Toledo uh looks like they're going to be hitting the Cedar Point area here in the next few minutes if you are you're ones happen to be at Cedar Point there were a few diversions a Delta A330 went to Pittsburgh Air France went to Indianapolis unfortunately that's the one I was really hoping that we would see but um hey we'll take the Delta a350 Delta 388 quick question Del 3 live on the Detroit ground 388 he said it's going to be like another half hour till the update all right if that changes please let us know uh we're basically ready to go uh we just you know once we get the clearance it'll be a few minutes and we'll be good to go Delta Airlines 388 as we can it looks like that precipitation is moving off area but it's still in the vicinity of Detroit so yeah we watch thanks much yeah you know those guys want to get out of here before the weather hits so it's Delta airlin flight 388 was the uh was the flight number Alpha Echo Alpha Runway left P Luna it is a 6-year-old Airbus a350 900 that was originally out of Shanghai so they probably don't have a ton of time before they have to leave and you know they're going to want to get ahead of the weather anyways before that storm system hit us and traps them here for the day how you doing today doing [Applause] [Applause] good airports 2:00 taking a look right now there is a Cessna turbo it's a look like a maybe a twin engine prop that'll be heading to Toronto we had a couple of Spirit Airlines aircraft a crj that diverted him as well from Detroit we are on the far side of the airport I consider going over to Aviator to watch today but figured I wanted to get the uh departures while we're up here not sure how many new departures we're going to see because I know they're going to want to kind of slow things down with the storms that are coming here so I'm hoping that I'm hoping the Delta gets out of here before the storms hit us 73 783 I'm not sure if someone told you before you have an edic to 0032 so I'll just have you txy straight ahead on kilo and right on Juliet wand and I'll have you hold there 73 yeah we got we about 5 let's do something here really quick it's funny today was an in-office day so I got home around 5 and uh was watching the weather come in and as soon as I got that alert I'm like all right we're going to the airport so I think I was home for about 15 minutes [Applause] be a to down3 earlier on today um Blue Angel number seven landed at Burk Lake for an airport which means we will be expecting the rest of the Blue Angels to get here tomorrow more than likely I would imagine probably sometime around 3:00 everything's so far away from over here so you got to think I'm at least a mile and a half away from the airport over here so any kind of s movement pops up there is no wind right now it is definitely the calmy for the storm super humid it's probably still close to 85 90° up here today I know we touched I know we touched 92 at one point because the uh I saw the thermometer in my car this will be United Airlines 783 and they are heading to Newark like we got a golf stream in bound g150 it looks like I lost I know went oh over there so we'll do the best we can over here we are pretty far away so we'll do the best we can for you it should be the Cessna cesa turbo heading to Toronto we're going to push in 20 [Music] minutes so when you're actually getting pushed back with the ground crew give me a call switch over here and get the golf stream try to get it as well as we can for [Music] you loosen things up here a little bit he's way over there the golf stream I think it's a golf stream g150 hay is moving in downtown very very warm and humid today looking ahead to the rest of the week it looks like we're talking kind of low to mid90s the next couple of days possibility of showers and thunderstorms on Saturday for the first day of the air show Sunday looks to be sunny Monday looks to be beautiful it's like low 70s and sunny Monday so we'll keep an eye on the forecast I still haven't decided which day I'm actually going to go to the air show I was kind of leaning towards Saturday but we'll see what the weather does it's been a while since I've seen a Blue Angel High show so I want to see a Blue Angel High show so uh we'll as we get closer we'll see what the forecast does it's kind of a reminder that we will be downtown I don't know if I'll go tomorrow for the Blue Angels arrival but we'll definitely be downtown on Thursday for the rest of the arrivals and then Friday weather depending I hope to live stream Air Show practice for you got to find a good place down there to go hopefully we'll get everything in a good spot with the tripod too it's just a little bit sticky tonight well until I did [Laughter] that that was all me see Fed X off at the dist I'm trying to see if I can get the Delta for you but I can't quite see it with the buildings in the way it should be over it should kind of be in this area I believe Turn 3 youer they have an edict G to Newark so they are holding over there but again optimistic that the Delta will leave before the weather hits although here at Hopkins we just went under a severe thunderstorm warning the system is still off the shore but we're definitely have to keep an eye on that jul look I don't know if you're familiar with the skate Alpha 14 thank you but yeah plan to live stream Air Show practice for you on Friday weather depending I have a question for you last time I was up there I heard that uh they're going to extend the runways at city center and let like uh you know Business Jet land is that through still just like [Applause] q400s just a dream now really okay a lot of people in the city were weren't too happy of bad noise so I don't know if that played into the decision United Airlines flight 2183 737 out of Newark is inbound it's a KC 135 looks like it took off out of Columbus as Cincinnati got a 757 brenon as how can at a350 land in Cleveland OH we got plenty of long runways we can handle an a350 no issue whatsoever yeah the a225 was here in the early 2000s best spot for the Cleveland Air Show um the piers usually the best spot sometimes they close it for the air show um I know some people go to the mun lot sit on the hill but unfortunately a lot of cancellations in the last couple of days for the air show we lost the KC 135 and c17 refueling demo uh we also lost the MH 53 static and the F35 and it sounds like according to the wording in the press releases it has to do a little bit with this military situation in the Middle East so keep your fingers crossed we won't lose anymore um I know we'll still get the a and the Blue Angels but hopefully we don't lose too many more military AXS and Statics really want to see the c17 and the C5 land at the land at Burke this year but again we're going to go live we'll go live as long as we can we will keep an eye on the weather we'll keep an eye on the lighting too as things start to get darker and uh we will go from there just realized that the plug came off here no wonder the pan is weird the screw came off go see if we can find that3 wheels up is 51 I know the Delta is waiting on the Detroit ground stop but being a heavy with the limited time I'm hoping that they they uh expedite that get them out of here there are aircraft going into Detroit and aircraft coming out of Detroit now with the thunderstorm system that went through so hopefully they let those guys go I'm going to go back to my car and figure out where the uh the screw that was on this C fell off United Airlines 2153 737 touching down on Runway two far right aircraft is coming in from Newark so again we'll stay live as long as we can we're going to keep an eye on the weather we'll keep an eye on the a350 we'll keep an eye on the light you see this camera doesn't really like low light so I'm hoping that we get this thing out of here before it gets too dark for you kind Leading Edge of that storm East I wish this front that was coming through would cool it off a little bit 2183 C ground taxi Department parking Lio kilo jet Lio Kil jet how much 3ad up contr asking if you're comfortable if Will to go through Del to 3D we're ready to depart as soon as possible but our routing takes us uh South and we're going to have to probably divert further south of that thunderstorm system that's uh over too right now and this is the last year for the A10 demo so if you want to see the a10s this is the year to do it uh best spot on site here really the best spot the um the general aviation seats if you come on the site are really in the best spot because they're right next to show Center unless you pay a lot of money for the uh Pavilions and whatnot so that really they're the best spot but if not anywhere along the fence um the show line here is parallel with the runway so you're not quite like Dayton where you have that angle 747 cannot land at Burke well I might be able to land but I don't know if I can get it back out C5 though they uh they have the short field capability so a C5 or C7 they have no issues there they're asking Delta if they're willing to fly through the storm I think that they're going to want to get them out of here before the weather hits though you hear that yeah my neck Dayton um well if you go on site Dayton is okay but you kind of have to watch where you end up um there's a hill there so I really picked a bad spot when I went to the Dayton show this year I was on the right side of the of the seating area and I was kind of looking up a hill and I got there late with the weather and it was really hard to get over there but Dayton as far as offside I mean the decks the parking deck is pretty good but I don't know if they let people up there during the actual Air Show here though if you don't want to actually pay to go to the air show the peer is really good but I know they chase people off the pier some years so I wouldn't guarantee that but other than that the um the mini lot or some of the parking decks down there I know you can go too but I don't know I think it's worth just paying to go to the Show Frontier 2467 a321 Neo lining up on the runway they're heading to Atlanta 2 24 right Alpha Echo Alpha contact Cleveland Center 13245 3245 St it's kind of a matter trying to figure out what to look at couple United aircraft lined up over there with their lights on looks like the one may be waiting for a gate the other one I think is pushing back or it might be holding it's kind of hard to tell with how far away we are at um how close are they fly to the crowd I mean it's the same it's the same crowd line so it's 500t or 1,000 ft um Cleveland's a good show they stay pretty close to the crowd you can get some great shots there uh the lighting you're on the south side of the runway facing north so usually the lighting is pretty good if you go to the pier or some of the places like that they you can get really really close to them but yeah they're closer at Cleveland than they are at places like Columbus and Detroit so Cleveland's usually Cleveland's usually a really good show it's a shame about the cancellations that we have so far this year but Danny was saying that uh he's got a gut feeling there might be another one tomorrow yeah but really the uh the biggest thing we've lost so far has been uh Cas has been the F35 so we'll uh I guess we'll see what happens we'll take what we get but even if it just ends up being the Blue Angels the um 810 and Kyle Franklin that's still a pretty good show so just hoping we get hoping we get good weather hopefully it cools down a little bit 52 behind United here and then ta 160 of store is going to be that will be really cool beacons Delta connection 5205 lining up for departure heading to LaGuardia beacons are on the a350 and they are cleared the taxi it sounds like they're going to go behind this this United over there so hopefully within the next three or 4 minutes we see the a350 get out of [Applause] here bear with me for one second bra B about 1:00 and 6 mil 5 bra vision 2 Lakefront Lake Front Towers 12.3 have a great day it's not perfect but uh for some reason I was set up at a 90° angle towards the runway but I'm shooting across so I don't know why I did that looks like United's going to go first actually so United 783 737 heading back to nework ground stop at O'Hare huh ground stop at O'Hare that's what I thought he said yep there weather in ohare yep yeah like we got some weather in Chicago I don't with the weather coming here I don't think we'll get any more diversions but we'll find out only downside over here I like the you got like the kind of The Wider angle of the airport but you really can't hear anything we're so far away from the jet noise that you don't hear them you don't hear them lining up thunderstorm warning till yeah we're get dumped on here Del [Music] 388 jul all right Delta 88 the 8350 just got his Taxi clearance the beacons are on it is over [Music] there sweet where's this at I still got to stop at oh no I I was actually in the ride sh lot and I'm like oh cool I click on that Delta 8350 like sweet it's diverting to Cleveland a this weather is like 10 minutes out all right looks like we're moving the 350 is moving on the other side of that building there there's the tail there's our crj that's heading to Laguardia 83 turn [Music] right3 hi yeah that was much better contct and maintain 1000 all right there's our Delta a350 taxi in front of the Concourse in front of the parking garage over there they're heading to Detroit FL if you are to the South and to the west of the field here uh look up because they are supposed to stay under 6,000 ft 6,000 on their way over to Detroit so if you are to the South and to the west of the field probably more like in a Toledo area might see a very low very large airplane don't fall Nick I need to invest in a monopod I can't trip over it what's that I need a monopod that way I can't trip over it so do I you know how hard it is to take pictures and live stream oh yeah kicking the tripod yeah brand is talking about one of the best Airlines united absolutely no Chargers this week I don't think I think the Browns are off this weekend but next weekend the Dallas Cowboys will be in town for the opening weekend so we should expect we should hopefully get a fly over for that game uh they fly on American Airlines so we should see probably an American trip 7 or maybe a 787 Dreamliner um maybe a week from Saturday more than likely I think they'll come in the game is on Sunday so what we looking forward to that pretty unusual to get an American Heavy in here very unusual to get a Delta heavy in here to be fair soit Tower so we'll enjoy these two while we got it but hope tripod is where get a monopod I'm with you I think I actually might just go with a monopod this is a nice fluid head although the screw fell off the screw that holds the fluid head it must be in the back of my car somewhere but I don't know think a monopod might be easier I can get closer to the camera and so if I think the movement would be a little bit smoother and I won't be tripping over the camera so much Delta Airlines flight a350 to a359 heading to Detroit disappoint in Air France went to Indianapolis so I'm surprised but but we were spoiled last year with Air France we had Air France twice a350 and a 787 Dreamliner this is the best diversion I think so far this year though the Delta [Applause] a350 so do you hate me for getting the Iron Maiden 752 at the show no no I thought you'd like that yeah we don't have an update for Detroit yet as far as Center altitudes are concerned they're still I honestly all right here we go lineing up for departure there's definitely a bat that is definitely a bat see folks even Dracula is out for the heavy update to the ground stop is in 30 minutes they just keep pushing it along it is almost Halloween [Applause] ground the all
