what's going on everyone Chris from pick dogs.com here with your free pick in the Houston Astros versus Arizona Diamondbacks Major League Baseball matchup going down Saturday September 7th 2024 just a reminder if you haven't already make sure you're subscrib to our Channel and smash that thumbs up and if you're looking for my Best Bets the games that I love including my daily $19 best bet head on over to pick dogs.com and click the premium picks tab at the top of the page but let's get to this one between the Houston Astros and the Arizona Diamondbacks we're going to continue this fantastic series for the weekend you got us Kikuchi listed as the starter for the Houston Astros Eduardo Rodriguez listed as the starter for the Arizona Diamondbacks and US Kikuchi you know coming off of a great start last time out seven Innings of one run ball had 12 strikeouts another victory for Kikuchi since being acquired by the Astros at the trade deadline and uh he's been absolutely outstanding you know two runs or less the majority of his Houston uh 10 years so far but it's worth noting that you know Kikuchi did struggle in his Lone Start against Arizona earlier this season when he was a member of the Toronto Blue Jays now granted that game was at Chase Field but didn't stop Kikuchi from giving up seven runs on six hits and a home run over four and two thirs innings of work and the Arizona Diamondbacks in the last two weeks have been the best team in baseball in terms of Team Ops against right-handed excuse me against left-handed pitching pardon me isolated power they're tied for second batting average they're third hitting 304 in the last two weeks against lefties so I think that the Diamondbacks can have some success in this matchup against Kikuchi on the other side though I think the Astros can get to Eduardo Rodriguez in the last weeks against Le East the Houston Astros around League average in terms of batting average but they're top 10 in team Ops third in isolated power they are doing damage against lefties and we saw Ardo Rodriguez is he's been getting hit hard for you know his last couple starts now granted those games were at home and last time we saw him out on the road he was against the Miami Marlins five five in the thir Innings a one-run ball but keep in mind that was a a Miami team that has been one of the worst teams baseball against left-handed pitching this season I think that the Houston astral can get to Rodriguez here and I think that the total is only this low because you have two great teams in this one but I think we're going to be going over the total here it wouldn't surprise me actually if we got to these totals by you know to this total of eight by the six maybe even seventh inning so I'm going to go with the over eight between the Diamondbacks and the Astros here and that's going to be my free pick but just a reminder if you haven't already make sure you're subscribed to our Channel and smash that thumbs up and if you're looking for my Best Bets you can find those at pick dogs premium why your pick dogs check out our betting tools they're 100% free they're the best betting tools in the business and tools that you want to make sure that you have in your back pocket when you're making your Best Bets for the day's action thanks for watching see you guys soon
