well we're still learning details but the Israeli Army says they struck a control and Command Center in uh in Kan Yunis a part of that southern city that goes into the humanitarian Zone Al masasi we've seen the Israeli strike inside the humanitarian Zone several times in the last couple months they've even evacuated parts of it shrinking that area for civilians uh claiming that is firing out of that area now it appears that some of those claims are substantiated by the fact that the Israelis have found hostages hidden in areas that were previously parts of the humanitarian zone so despite hamas's denials it's clear they are operating there and that's what the Israeli Army says happened uh in the early hours of the morning when they struck this Center they say they were going after significant Hamas terrorists now we're gonna have to wait and see whether the Israeli Army names uh some of the highlevel Hamas uh leaders that are still alive uh under Yak senoir the head of Hamas um but it turns out that like other strikes this is it's turned into a very deadly strike for civilians so we've seen at least reports of at least 40 killed uh about 20 T that were housing civilian Ians that went up in Flames huge craters some saying that civilians were buried in sand um you know a devastating scene um one that sadly we've seen again and again during this war and meanwhile the Israeli Defense Force has ordered a number of evacuations in the northwest of the Gaza Strip do we have any more information about those that's right the Israeli Army ordered new evacuations in Northern Gaza yesterday you know the Israeli Army continues to really operate across the Gaza Strip uh you know at times uh the focus is turning to the northern Frontier the fighting between Israel and Hezbollah right yesterday there was a drone that hit a residential building so sometimes our Focus moves away from Gaza but there is still a lot of combat there there's still um you know not only uh civilians that are dying in Gaza as we saw overnight but there are Israeli soldiers dying Israel claims that it's still killing Hamas um Hamas militants we see that every area where the Israeli Army leaves for for a period of time Hamas quickly comes back and fills the vacuum um there is going to be an Insurgency in the Gaza STP for a long time and it speaks to one of the long-term challenges facing Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin netan and that is after you have dismantled significantly Hamas and Israel believes it has done that at this point minus killing Yakir who is going to take over running the Gaza Strip who's going to replace Hamas in terms of Education running you know the sewage systems electricity schools uh who is that who is going to be the governing body there and that's where uh Israel is finding itself now in real trouble um because as it nears the end possibly of the military operation it has to consider how to bring in and sustain and support a viable option to Hamas
