smt Nation we are back big news out of AT&T they are suing broadcom for breach a contract let's talk about that here in today's video link for the article from Communications today will be in the description waste of supporters can be found there as well please do like and share this video subscribe if it's your first time here and turn on the Bell notification icon to never miss an upload from the smt all right so uh yeah broadcom is is getting sued here and this is over a contract dispute uh involving AT&T AT&T had a contract with VMware and that contract ended just a few days ago uh earlier this year I think AT&T renewed or wanted to extend the contract and uh I think broadcom is refusing to honor that renewal process so now you have AT&T kind of claiming that they they should and they have to and and this contractual obligation and those things uh just based on the language and just based on claims we're seeing that AT&T's claims that broad cam is threatening broadcom is threatening to withhold support for previously purchased VMware licensed software so AT&T wants to continue to use it AT&T has paid and you know has that agreement in place and I guess broadcom doesn't want to follow through on this and and they just want to bail on it so um I'm I'm sure broadcom is going to fight this or counter Sue or something I don't know I I guess just defend themselves obviously broadcom believes that they're not in the wrong um and then they're claiming that the AT&T allegations you know of breach of contract are invalid and you know it seems to me like this is one of those situations where there maybe financially they don't like the contract that AT&T is pursuing so they might be trying to bail on it so this this possibly I guess will go to court Unless somehow some way I guess this in you know it's in the public and it looks pretty bad maybe they settle outside of Court uh but it sounds to me like broadcom may have obligations to this and might have to follow through AT&T might have a good fight here uh might have a good claim uh and I don't know they might as well just honor it and I'm not sure what the duration or the extent of the contract is um but there's you know stability that's needed at AT&T and there's you know things that they just have to make sure are reliable and you know they they they need to just sew up all these things they they got a worker strike going on in the South you know so there's a lot of other things going on I the last thing they need is another problem like this so hopefully this gets worked out and sorted out whatever the case may be a settlement maybe du uh to see this stuff this kind of stuff get dragged out into court it's just a waste of people's time they should just figure this out 2024 I guess lawsuits are the way to do things anyways um what do you guys think the outcome is does AT&T win do they find a settlement do they cut ties you think broadcom ends up having to honor the contract uh what do you guys think the outcome is for if this goes to court to a judge sound off in the comment section below what do you guys think about all this and you know for me guys it's just uh AT&T needs to find stability keep their Network running optimally and and running well and and keep it up anyways uh pause but we'll see you guys on the next video peace
