[Music] the battle of the Border continues with Texas governor Greg Abbott now deciding to go against an order from President Joe Biden it all has to do with operation lonar that Governor Abbott launched back in 2021 the program aimed to prevent illegal border crossings from Mexico to Texas with razor wire fencing and other barriers in the Rio Grand but officials from the Biden Harris Administration agency ordered Governor Abbott to remove the construction from Fronton Island governor Abbott sent President Biden a letter yesterday mentioning that cartels had continued to take over and staged illegal entries he also said they were stashing weapons and drugs Governor Abbott went on to say quote as commanderin-chief on the military forces of this state I determined that Texas could not ignore an ongoing invasion of its Sovereign territory Governor Abbott also put this message on social media defined the order to put front and Island back to its prior condition saying today today I told Biden and Harris Texas will not comply the Biden Administration has not responded yet I'm Lauren Taylor and we'll continue to follow this story and bring you the updates as soon as they become available [Music]
