hey Malik how did it go for you today how would you how would you assess it uh on myself uh had too many drops I mean had a lot of catches that I could have been made on the field um you know so that was about me but it was a great competition day great work day when you get something like that with drops that you're not happy with you just go right back to work tomorrow uh I mean that's all I can do look at the film you know see how I drop it see which better ways I can catch the ball um but continue to stay in the books like was it how they covered you or or do feel was what something you weren't doing um I mean the coverage was pretty good I mean you know it's contested it's going to be contested that's who this league is um it's who it's whoever can make those plays and I think I can make those plays but you know just didn't come out with those plays today the last one on the Deep one did that bother you yeah it B it bothered me it bothered me pretty bad um you know if I had to do it again you know I would work on something different on catching the ball but you know it's I just go look at it see what I can do better and just practice that kind of thr again pass that kind of play practice getting my eyes around faster and uh finding the ball really in the air did you have to come back for it a little bit is that maybe what no I didn't really have to come back for it it was just when I had turned my eyes back on the other side of the should I kind of lost the ball and I finally later so you know it it was just a drop you know I just got to try different just try to try to catch it better I guess how does it make you feel when sace gardeners like waving goodbye to your guys sideline and taunting you guys basically um I me I mean they can do that I mean they they won on a day I mean they defense came out here executed well um you know we we beat ourselves today so it's it's about really going back into the into our Playbook going back into you know trying to be you know us trying to find that trying to find this team that you know we trying to look for so it's going back to the preparation really it seemed that people were expecting you and SAU to go to head-to-head a lot it didn't seem to happen that much I mean that's you that's the question for dve to ask you know I don't I don't script the play but that's a question for Dave you're such a competitor for yourself do you get caught in the middle of sometimes where you you have a practice you're working on things that you want to work on for your own game and then also know it's a competition because you're going against another team that you kind of want to you know I want to say show out a little bit but you you guys want to compete so is there kind of that back and forth that balance you want to strike um no not really bad this really working on myself really I mean the defense going to give me a look um I just got to play football so it's really working on different techniques working on if they're outside on my shoulder or inside of my show to just continue to win do you think you do you think you and the first team offense would benefit from one more look in this Saturday's game I know it's not up to you but do you feel like you guys could benefit from that kind of work I mean of course you know it's another opportunity to go in there you know play a football game you know find out you know what we need what we need to work on you know what we need to learn from so yeah this opportunity to go play another game on Saturday is a help before the season starts did you learn anything from the limited time you did get to go against sauce like you know maybe little tips or tricks of going against a guy who's considered one of the top quarterbacks in football right I mean yeah but I I ain't going to share all my key details I ain't going to share you know what I what I thought but I'm going to keep a mar to myself you know and just continue to you know work on myself what were your impressions of number four who was also on you number four DJ Reed I mean he's great great competitor you know had smooth feet um you know plays the ball pretty well when the ball's in the air knows formations knows Concepts so going against him I kind of had to you know switch my game up a little bit so you know he wouldn't jump in a lot of routs but you know he's a great competitor he's different sidewise than SAU is right I mean you know his different different size different links everybody game is really going to be different
