Tyreek Hill, a Miami Dolphins player, was pulled  over by Miami-Dade Police for speeding and   reckless driving near Hard Rock Stadium before the  season opener. The situation rapidly escalated,   resulting in Hill being handcuffed and restrained  with an officer’s knee on his back. The Miami-Dade   Police Department released 105 minutes of bodycam  footage, showing that Hill initially did not   comply with the officer’s request to roll down his  window, which contributed to the confrontation.   The Dolphins sharply criticized the officers'  actions as “overly aggressive and violent” and   demanded severe disciplinary measures. In  response, the local police union defended   the officers, asserting that their actions  were appropriate. One officer has been placed   on administrative leave while the investigation  continues. Hill’s teammates, Calais Campbell and   Jonnu Smith, were also present during the stop.  The incident has garnered significant public   and media attention, highlighting issues  of police conduct and accountability.
