I watched a couple Creeks that Grady made last year in some pretty big games and one of the biggest games was a Washington State game and you know it's just being prepared for your moment you know you never know when it's going to you know be your time or your shot so uh we try to put oursel in game like situations and you know it may like the other team may not be on the field but if it's a away game it's going to feel like that it's going to feel like they all right there it's going to feel like they right there so um just put oursel in you know situations we may be in and you know as you look towards Summer what do you feel is the next step in your development what what do you want to see in yourself these next four months uh probably change of Direction that's that's probably uh main thing you know that one cut and G I can you know get to the hole pretty quick but you know it's always something I can improve on definitely want to hit the hole faster you know harder where with some more speed and probably the uh open field you know Vision you know I may not be the fastest but you know I can take the right angles and you know do what I can how much improvement have you seen from Adam Muhammad just over these spring practices a lot you know he's a young kid um he's a great human being just it's been great you know knowing him you always got a smile on his face every single day he just stares at me and smile and I'm like Adam he's like what's up big bro I'm like yeah so um it's it's great seeing like where he came from uh and what he's going to be you know he's still a baby he just turned 18 so you know still a lot to learn but he's gotten better and you know I'm glad to you know be that guy that he can look up to and you know um lead him but he's came for he Sky's a limit for him kind of on the same point with the young guys can you talk a little bit about deon's performance kind of getting his feet right with his first college football action um I I just told him like it's football man you've been playing this your whole life just just minus you know the fans in the stadium you've been playing this your whole life life man like you don't need to be no superhero you don't need to be anybody else just be you that's all you need to be and you know I told the o line the same thing before the game and pretty much everyone like we don't need superheroes we just need you to be you show up in character and be you and you know when you can be you is it's crazy what you can do what's it been like running behind this kind of hatchwork o line for during this FR um development that's that's the biggest thing you know trust in the process you know they're young guys they're all young guys all freshman so you know just trust in the process and you know when you you bring guys with you and you motivate them to uh oh you're doing good you know you never know how much it means when you tell someone you're doing good you know just keep going just keep pushing like you never know how far you can go and so proud of them guys man the the everyone talks about them everyone puts them down you know and you know the good thing about us and the Brotherhood that we have in the locker room we pick them up you know obviously you guys see Twitter we need a line we need this we need that we don't need nothing we we got us you know and I got they back you know um with with whoever and I don't care what anyone says about them you know my guys is being developed and they got better and Sky limit for them they're young guys like I said they're freshman so so many new faces in this on this team and everything like that how long did it take you guys to really feel like you were bonding together as a team I mean you you had a couple months up here before you hit the field but I mean how how long it take you guys to really feel comfortable with each other do you think um it I feel like it didn't take long at all you know um when I like I said it was already a winning program so they already had that you know Brotherhood culture here and you know when I got here it was all open arms so um it it just naturally happened it wasn't forced it wasn't it was it was just us like that's that's how be that's how winning teams are you know I came and joined and a couple more missing uh pieces going to come and you know we're going to be with them in open arms and getting to know your teammates that's the biggest thing you know cuz you never know what someone's going through you never know why someone may be down today someone may be smiling all the time you never know so uh really getting to know your teammates and that's what we've been doing and I feel like that's why uh the trust is there are there elements of the way coach fish runs his program that you're used to from having played with him for a couple years that you've seen guys here kind of start to adjust to and being a pro being a pro you know uh it's a lot of change for these guys here as far as the scheme as far as the way they walk the way they talk the way we do things and you know the biggest thing I would say that uh the guys here and you know including myself we we we buying in we trus in the process you know we just want to be great we want to be good you know and um coach fish I wasn't able to be with him for the you know first couple months because of freaking I don't know but uh it was they were just implementing we run a Pro System everything we want to do is you know for the for like being a pro so um and you know it's we have facts to prove it we have stats to prove it we first round left tackle with Jord morg Jacob car tanner glin and you know those guys weren't no highly recruits just developing and Trust in the process really so
