A LITTLE COOLER ALONG THE COASTAL COMMUNITIES. THIS MORNING, WE'RE IN THE MID TO UPPER 60'S FROM OCEANSIDE ALL THE WAY DOWN TO LINDBERGH FIELD. MEANWHILE, MOSTLY IN THE 60'S WITH THE EXCEPTION OF REMOTE AT 58 IN LONDON, WE'RE SEEING ALREADY SOME 70'S IN OUR MOUNTAIN. 75 RIGHT NOW ENJOYING CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT 70 DEGREES IN PALMER MOUNTAIN? AND WE'RE IN THE 70'S 80'S RIGHT NOW IN BREDA SPRINGS AS WELL KITTY WELLS. MOST OF THE DAY FOR THE INLAND AREAS WILL BE IN THE LOW 80'S DROPPING DOWN ABOUT 10 DEGREES BY 7 O'CLOCK OR SO. COASTAL AREAS WILL BE IN THE LOW 70'S. SO THIS AREA OF HIGH PRESSURE OR HEAT, RATHER THIS CUTOFF LOW IS GOING TO KEEP THINGS AT BAY FOR US THIS WEEKEND. SO WE'LL BE WEDGED IN BETWEEN 2 SYSTEMS AND THAT'S GOING TO KEEP THINGS PRETTY MILD. >> HEADING INTO YOUR LABOR DAY WEEKEND, HOWEVER, WILL HAVE THIS AREA OF HIGH PRESSURE KIND OF TAKE OVER NEXT WEEK. AND THAT'S GOING TO USHER IN SOME VERY HOT TEMPERATURES BEGINNING WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY, COASTAL AREAS WILL BE IN THE MID TO UPPER 70'S ALL THE WAY THROUGH SUNDAY. AND THEN WE'RE IN THE 80'S MONDAY AND TUESDAY. AND THEN THINGS REALLY START TO HEAT UP WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY. THAT'S WHEN THOSE DAYTIME HIGHS SHOOT ABOVE AVERAGE. SO RIGHT NOW, DAYTIME HIGHS, ESPECIALLY WEST OF THE MOUNTAINS ARE COOLER THAN WHERE WE SHOULD BE FOR THIS TIME OF THE YEAR AND THEN COME LABOR DAY. THAT'S WHEN 90'S REENTER THE PICTURE INLAND AND THEN WE'LL STAY IN THE 90'S NEARING 100 BY THE END OF NEXT WEEK. THE MOUNTAIN AREAS WILL IN THE UPPER 80'S FOR A COUPLE MORE DAYS. REMEMBER, WE HAVE A VERY SMALL CHANCE FOR THUNDERSTORMS IN OUR MOUNTAINS. IF YOU LOOK OUT EAST TODAY TOMORROW, ANY TIME THIS WEEKEND, YOU'LL PROBABLY SEE THOSE BILLOWING CLOUDS. THEY DO HAVE THE POTENTIAL OF CREATING SOME THUNDERSTORMS TO JUST MAKE SURE THAT YOU'RE USING CAUTION, ESPECIALLY IF YOU'RE DRIVING THROUGH THOSE FOOTHILL AND MOUNTAIN COMMUNITIES AS OUR AREAS WILL BE NEAR ONE 10
