if you're thinking about buying the new iPhone 16 you might get a better deal from your phone company than you did last year but it's only for the more expensive Pro Models analysts at BFA say that the deals are a little better this time around they're especially good for the iPhone 16 pro and pro Max you could get a credit of up to $1,000 from many carriers the iPhone 16 Pro starts at $999 and the pro Max is $1,199 Apple also announced cheaper base models analysts at Bank of America have found that Verizon AT&T and T-Mobile are all offering trading credits of up to $1,000 for customers who switch to their unlimited plans however there are some restrictions on which phones are eligible for the credit and which plans qualify for example at Verizon the credit is only available for customers who are on the unlimited ultimate plan at AT&T the credit is only available for iPhone 16 pro and pro max phones and the tradein must be valued at $180 or more and at T-Mobile the credit is only available for certain trade-ins with a value of more than $50 the analysts pointed out that last year Verizon and AT&T offered tradeing credits up to $830 while T-Mobile offered up to $11,000 this year apple is offering trading credits of up to $1,000 for all iPhone models this is good news for Apple because it means that people will be more likely to upgrade their iPhones the analysts believe that carrier promotions will also help to drive an upgrade cycle for the iPhone 16 family of iPhones earlier this week analysts were also positive about Apple's updates to its wearables portfolio
