the sevens is absolutely the be all and end all for rugby the next couple of weeks it starts Wednesday night late Wednesday night Australian time uh the Aussies taking on Samar in the first of their pool games the men they've also got Argentina clearly the heavy favorites after their superb season on the World Series and Kenya who were shot qualifiers ahead of South Africa Out of Africa and South Africa had to actually go through the reper charge to to qualify for Paris so we know there's a couple of big inclusions uh what kind of difference do you think Cory tul and probably Mark no deasi from his aerial threat and size can have for this Aussie team huge two things uh we saw Marcus Mana soon as he went out from that Argentinian side the RGS struggled they didn't win another tournament and why he's got absolute Pace to burn and and in sevens you've got to score tries unless your defense is Rock Solid but you've got to score tries and the minimum of three of them generally speaking to win so that's a a late option to have up there sleaves Mark no need to was he he's not necessarily going to be playing 14 minutes a match he probably play Closer to half that number but if you scroll back to Tokyo 2021 and what who did Australia play first up it was Argentina where did they struggle the kick restart they couldn't catch cold they got totally dominated there they were playing catchup footy and it completely derailed their tournament and their medal Ambitions so to have the two of them there that's a huge boost uh they're in a in a strong space I'm curious to see moris long bottom there were some doubts around his Fitness I think he's a bit better at the moment uh he's got a huge role to play uh Cory tul obviously adds that you know couple of extra yards of pace doesn't he and if he can get on the outside that he's pretty much gone and Five Points to Australia
