RAIDERS Signing ADOREE' JACKSON?!

[Music] the Autumn Wind is a pirate blustering in from sea with a rolicking song He sweeps along swaggering boisterously his face is weather beaten he wears a hooded sash with a silver hat about his head and a bristling black mustache he growls as he storms the country a villain big and Bold and the trees all Shake and quiver and quake as he robs them of their gold the Autumn Wind is a raider pillaging just for fun he'll knock you round and upside down and laugh when he's conquered and [Music] won Raider Nation there have been Rumblings that the Raiders are interested in a veteran quarterback in free agency even still going into week one coming up in just two weeks and a name that we've heard that could be a potent threat for the Las Vegas Raiders is adori Jackson out of USC from the New York Giants via the Tennessee Titans adori is a guy track speed man I mean we saw it in college he had track speed he played offense he played defense he played special teams at USC he did everything he helped us win the rose bow even though Chris Godwin torched him in that game he still you know made a play down the stretch on offense that had he had a rushing touchdown that you know helped us come back and win that game but overall I think this guy really helps us on that side of the ball is we're struggling in The Corner Room we've talked about this in the past our Corner Room is very thin and you know we have Jack Jones solid on one side Nate hob solid in the slot and on the other side you know Jack bennon and some of these other guys are really fighting for that spot but bringing in a Dory Jackson would really solidify that cornerback two spot yeah and you know when you look at our Corner Room like you mentioned the starters are in place there I think I think Jack Bennett's going to get the start opposite of Jack Jones but we have no depth we have little to no depth the only two guys I would say is D camon Richardson who's shown a little bit in Camp and Sam Webb who honestly I'm not very high on because he's not developed and Brandon fa on is just a complete mystery I've not seen him at all in preseason so we need depth at corner and when you look at a guy like adori he's 28 years old which isn't too old it's that threshold of 30 which is is kind of on the younger side and so when you look at his his Advanced stats he had grades of 71 and 74 in 2021 and 2022 which I think is really solid according to PFF you know for contexts when you look at our Corners Jack Jones last year who everyone thought played really well including us had a grade of 72 so you're getting a guy who's been kind of a fringe Pro Bowl level player in the past and when you look at him he has a connection with Patrick Graham because when he was with the giant Graham was defensive coordinator there and they gave him a $13 million deal per year with graham as the DC so obviously he has that connection to Pat Graham who I think likes him as a player so it's a pretty obvious fit for him to come to Vegas he knows the system he knows you know our scheme that Patrick Graham likes to run so I think it's a pretty logical fit that we're going to bring in Dory Jackson Jackson is a solid player he has been you know serviceable in the league for a long time now and you know he just kind of brings that Raider Edge Raiders speed we've always loved speed speed has always been a factor you know for us to have on the defensive side or offensive side whatever side of the ball speed is what Al Davis always envisioned adori Jackson I believe he ran a 4-3 in the 40- yard dash you know it was unbelievable when he did it back in 2018 so having him on this team really would solidify that defense overall and like you said with his numbers he's a serviceable guy he's going to you know provide that you know interim one-year contract you know until we can hopefully land a big name in free agency next year but Raider Nation keep liking subscribing commenting you know we're back to where we were and uh we're doing really well right now so uh yeah hit that subscribe button and we'll catch you in the next video
