And go as expected. But what went through your mind mentally to get you back to get the outcome that you had now? I flushed it. I mean, it, it happens, you know, plays like that happen. It don't matter if it's your fault or not, it is what it is. It's football stuff's gonna happen and, um, the offense really struggled to get things generated and moving tonight. Um, what do you think was the, the byproduct's cause of that? I didn't understand the question. You often struggle to get the ball moving and finish off drives. What do you think? Was there a singular problem? Do you the reason? The reason? Yeah, me like it, me, I'm taking full responsibility for everything that happened today. Um, you know, you always wanna come out and play, play football and do what you gotta do. And, um, I feel like I try to do that and didn't do what I, I'm used to doing, I play football for a living and I didn't come out and perform to my best today. And that's it is what it is. I take full responsibility for everything Aidan. Is there anything you said you, you didn't play like you good. Is there anything you can attribute that to just, you know, we didn't score? What did you say? We didn't score? We scored twice and it was one half, we didn't score it all in the second half. Just was there anything they were doing in the second half or do you think like self-inflicted type of bar self inflicted? It was my fault. I'll take full responsibility. Like I said before, I'm sorry if I sound rude or like attitude ish. I truly apologize. I, I'm a little angry at myself, Ayan. Uh So you're taking accountability knowing what you know, now about this game, what do you think you could have done differently? Like if you, if you had a chance to do it all over again, go out there and score finish. I mean, I know I knew what I was supposed to do, didn't do it. It is what it is. Like, I'm missing slides that I've thrown 100,000 times, like I'm missing stuff that I've thrown forever. I'm missing checks that I've seen every day, every day and I go against one of the best defenses in the country. That's how I feel. And uh I didn't, I didn't do what I was supposed to do today now that you have like one game under your belt and you've taken it, you know, you've said that you've done a lot of these things and it just didn't happen tonight. What can you kind of take away from this and maybe, uh, channel in on for next week? Just improve. I mean, go do everything with intent, go to practice with a chip on your shoulder and you go win it next week. I mean, you can't do anything, you can't ask for anything more. I mean, we got the win. Yes, I'm not happy with it, but we got the win. I'm happy with the win, not happy with how I perform. And it's my, it's a little selfish. I understand. But um overall, like you're gonna have those games where you just feel like, oh, I could have done more. I could have done more and this is one of those games. And um yeah, and the throw to Montori near the goal line that was picked. What did you see? And when did you know that uh oh, our read is if he goes over, if the DB that's the guard to Montori goes over it, I can take that ball. Um I think he just beat us to the spot. I messed it up. I should have just looked it off, came back to my read and I just didn't, I didn't do what I was supposed to do today. Yeah. And I know you're not happy with today's performance. But can you just talk about kind of Spartan stadium and the Spartan faithful and your expectations versus how it actually felt out? There. Yeah, I mean, um, it's great. I mean, I don't know how the crowd is gonna act next week in, in a few weeks. But, you know, today they came out with energy and love and support and I, um, I don't know, it was, they did not disappoint and I really truly appreciate them for coming out today and supporting us and, yeah, host some of my teachers out here because I have some homework that I gotta do. Aidan right here. Just could you sort of put into some words, like how different this experience was compared to your game experience a year ago where you're going for a series and good or bad, whatever happens, that series you're kind of done, you know, now everything has a consequence and you're going back out there, you're playing for four quarters and just how different is that experience in this role for you? I mean, you just explain the difference. I mean, I'm just going back out there. I mean, realistically whatever happens, I gotta go back out there. Um I don't think there really is like a huge difference between what I did last year and this year I still played last year. And then, I mean, this year now I'm just playing a little bit more. That's how I see it. And what was your assessment of the run game today and the whole operation, how that all worked those running backs. They worked so hard man, I'm so proud of them. They did everything for me today and I really, I truly appreciate them. They blocked their ass off. Sorry, I apologize. They blocked the um they, they toted it. I mean, that's a, that's a beautiful back, uh like backfield to have and I truly appreciate them uh going off that Aidan. Uh What can you say about Kay Ron and specifically his uh performance tonight? You saw it, I mean, it's, that was, that was his touchdown. They gave it to me, but that was his touchdown. You know, I mean, he, he's a dog, Nate Carter too. I mean, you're not gonna count out Nate. I mean, we didn't get all the runs we wanted but them dudes, they told that thing like you're not gonna, you can, you can't just push them over like they play football, that's what they do and that's their specialty. I mean, they come out here every day, they work and they talk like their leaders, they come out here and they, and they showed it today like they came out here and ran the ball, they have more rush yards, we have passing yards and I'm so proud of that. Like I'm truly, I truly appreciate them for that. I mean, I, of course, I want more passing yards, but, hey, when your team's on, when your backfield's on, your backfield's on, I can't complain. Coach talk in the lead up to this wanting to see of how you guys would respond to adversity. Um I, I don't think there's any question that there was a lot of adversity tonight when you get back and watch the film on this, what are some of the things that you think maybe you'll take away from the response of the guys? Um, I mean, we're gonna go watch film and we're probably all gonna hate it. We're, we're probably gonna go in there with, you know, disgust. Like we, we don't wanna go in there and watch that. We didn't do what we're supposed to do. We didn't do what we know we can do. And, um, but, um, you know, it's a new week, you get another opportunity. We won a game, go us now we get to come back and do it again. You know, that's all I can say. Uh, Aidan right here in the middle, uh, first game with the helmet communication in your head. How did that go? Were there any hiccups throughout the game? No, it was cool. I mean, I can't complain. Um, it took a little, uh, sorry, it took a second to like, um, uh, really be able to repeat the plays over like time, but now it's, I can't complain at all. Like it's really easy, just him talking to me directly, you know.
