yo what's up bringing you that i'ma be 16 this show we made it to the division series and we will be going up against the Chicago Cubs but here is an updated look at the rest of the playoff bracket so in the American League we have the angels versed raised and the blue jays who beat the Indians in the wild-card game verse the Tigers in the National League we have the dodgers versus the Nationals and then the Pirates we beat the Mets in the wild-card game vs chicago cubs so it's going to be an interesting round the Cubs they were the best team in the regular season and during the regular season we finished 7 and 11 against them they were the better team but we started Owen 7 against them and then we finished 7 and 4 so through the last 11 games we have had the upper hand still it's going to be a tough series so now looking at the projected starters for this series in Game one we're going to have Jeff Locke verse Jake Arrieta in Game two we have ivanova verse Jon Lester and then in Game three we're going to have Drew Hutchison verse Kyle Hendricks game four and five to be determined Jericho who had a dominating performance in the wild-card game will be unavailable for the first three games he could be available for Game four or five but we'll have to see if we get there but go check out that wild-card game if you haven't but now let's jump into Game one of this series our lineup is going to be Polanco Harrison Marte McCutchen Jaso Gong Cervelli Mercer was Jeff Locke on the mound so now first game first inning are the division series and lock is going to come away with the strikeout now we're going to the top of the second inning Jace is up to bat he's going to get a base hit up the middle so a nice way to start it off for him we need everyone to be on point now runners on first and second no outs in the inning a grounder from Cervelli come scoop it up looking to turn two and they do but we have a runner on third base now that's going to bring up Jordy Mercer got the runner in scoring position in Mercer is going to hit a grounder down the third base line that's going to get through for the first RBI of the game in the first run of the division series so we strike first Polanco up now still in the inning runners on first and second a little tap right to the catcher was hoping that ball would go fall it doesn't they get the out at first now we're going to the bottom of the second they have a runner at first a ball up the middle and I don't know why our center fielders playing so deep but now the Cubs they're going to have runners on the corners after that base hit no outs in the inning a big-time strikeout the circle changeup away in the zone still runners on the corners in the bottom of the inning a grounder to Mercer we're going to give it the Harrison tough first a nice scoop from Jay so getting the double play and getting out of the inning bottom of the third another grounder to Harrison trying to turn to once again the scoop doesn't come up with it still that's a big play now Dexter follows up with runners on first two outs and father is going to send this one deep for the two run shot so if we manage to get that double play we would have been out of the inning but Fowler comes back hits a two-run shot and now the Cubs take a two to one lead in the first game of the division series the most surprising thing is that i gave up a home run to Fowler I don't know how that happened but we're going to get out of the inning now bottom of the fourth inning we go one out in the inning a grounder Jaso diving for that he's not going to come up with it not really anything special with this play but for some reason john Jaso he's going to get injured we have to remove him from the game not a big deal but it does hurt us a little bit still we're going on to the bottom of the fifth inning runner on first looking to turn to Mercer to Harrison to first gimme that DoublePlay still in the inning Cubs managed to get runners on 1st in second a grounder Bell scoops it up down the first base line touches on first we get out of the fifth on to the top of the six bells up the bat he replaced J so he's going to hit a liner to center field that dive is no good that ball is going to go into the outfield we're going to end up with that double so to our base hit trying to get some type of rally going gong the next batter up he's going to get hit that's going to give us runners on first and second bringing up Cervelli and he's going to hit a grounder to the third baseman to throw at second and the Cubs get out of the end bottom of the sixth inning we go lock with the full count the sinker away get in the strikeout now we're going to the top of that seventh Polanco is up to bat base hit through the middle big-time hit right there Polanco off to a good start in this game that's going to bring up Josh Harrison Polanco still at first two outs in the inning and a base hit back-to-back that's going to give us runners on first and second trying to get another rally going we have Starling Marte up the bat probably our best hitter in the regular season and he's going to hit a grounder to the second baseman to throw at first and once again the Cubs get out of the inning now we're going to the bottom of the seventh but starter with the pitch getting the strikeout next batter up to high fastball and that ball is sent into deep right-center field off the wall we probably could have made a better play at that or attempt at that that was terrible but a big-time hit for the Cubs they're going to come away with the triple two outs in the inning he word up the bat and that's going to come right back to bus startled to throw to first and we get out of the inning bottom of the eighth we go Bastardo still on the mound that changeup away in the zone give me that strikeout two outs in the ending the high fastball his second one of the inning moving on to the ninth inning 21 game one out and Mercer he's going to get walk that's going to give us a runner on first that's going to bring up Sean Rodriguez the full count back-to-back walks now we got runners on first and second that's going to bring up Gregory Polanco who hits a liner into left field that one's gonna get caught so we still have runners on first and second that last pitch was probably a ball could have been ball four but now runners on first and second Josh Harrison off the bat our last chance and Harrison is going to hit a liner into left field and that ball is out of here for the three-run shot oh my josh harrison coming up clutch three run shot to take the lead in Game one of the division series we're going to go up 4-2 to to the bottom of the ninth we go watch it in to close it out the tamper to Cervelli the throw to first and that is Game one of the division series we come away with the 42 to victory and a crazy one that was the three run shot from Harrison in the top of the ninth to give us the lead that was big Bastardo he comes away with the victory Watson picks up his second save of the postseason and then Jeff flag we got to give credit to him he pitched a good game just couldn't get the support early on now for the Cubs follow he had the 2 run shot still don't believe I gave up a home run to him but at the end we did come away with the victory that's all that matters we grinded it out and we're taking a 10 lead in the division so now we're going on to game number two of the division series we're going to run with the same lineup Ivanova on the mound so in game number two we're looking to take the two nothing lead that's as simple as it can get if we go up to nothing go back to Pittsburgh four games three and four we're in a good position so top of the first inning there's a 30 count I don't know why I swung at this but it was a nice hint and that's going to go into left field off the wall that's going to be a double for Polanco to start off the gate it works out now that's going to bring up Josh Harrison the hero of Game one and Harrison's going to send this one deep into left field to the warning track and I thought that was gone off the bat but it's just going to get caught Polanco is going to tag up you're going to advance the third and now we got a runner on third for Andrew McCutchen who didn't really play that well in Game one the low fastball going to get the strikeout good pitch now we're going to the top of the second runners on first and second for Mercer and the Cubs they're gonna turn the double play so now we're going to the bottom of the second Ivanova on the mound he's gonna throw the high fastball getting the strikeout now on to the bottom of the third the full count the change-up low in a way that's going to be a grounder jasa with the nice dive he's not getting injured this time getting the out at first that was a nice play still in the third inning the low fastball that's going to be a foul tip but Ivanova he's going to get injured so our second injury in this postseason so far and this one hurts because Nova was pitching well and now we have to go to the bullpen early and it puts us in a bad position but glass now he's gonna come in he's going to get the strikeout bottom of the fourth inning we go a wild pitch it was ball four anyways but now the Cubs they have runners on first and second not the best situation now with bases loaded two outs in the inning the Tampa right there glass now the throat up first and he is safe I didn't know if I should have thrown it at home but either way that's a play we should have been able to make next batter up it's going to hit a liner to left field two runs are going to come around to score and the Cubs are going to take a three nothing lead now runners on first and second a liner to right Polanco is there and we get out of the inning now we're going to the bottom of the fifth we have tie on in to pitch and he's going to give up a base hit up the middle so the Cubs starting off where they left off in the previous inning getting those hits now runners on first and second one out and this one is ripped into left field we try to dive for it we had no other choice we had to try making a play on it it didn't work out either way and probably what I've been on base hit so why not try but the Cubs they're gonna pick up two more runs we have to bring in Rivero he's going to come away with the strikeout now with runners on first and second a liner too gung gonna get that out we get out of the inning but the Cubs pick up two more runs they go up five nothing bottom of the six Rivero another strikeout now still in the sixth inning Rivero he's going to throw the change-up away in the zone getting a second strikeout of the inning we're going to the bottom of the seventh runners on first and second for the Cubs we're going to turn to getting out of the seventh inning top of the ninth inning we go it was that kind of game first we couldn't get anything going after that first inning but now we have runners on first and second after that base hit one out Mercer is up to bat he's going to hit a liner to right in the diving catch that's big right there because in the last game last time they'd 0 for the ball they missed it if they miss right there we're in a good position now with runners on first and second still the grounder to second to throw the first and that right there is a vague so the Cubs they come away with the victory in game number two when in five nothing Jon Lester play a game eight innings pitched eight strikeouts he was solid and then Rizzo goes 1 for 4 with two RBIs Brian goes 2 for 3 with a run Montero 1 for 4 with two RBIs and Fowler another RBI for him glass now picks up the loss a tough outing for him he had to come in for the injured nova which is unfortunate because nova he was pitching well who knows what would have happened if he got the pitch you know his normal innings either way we were lucky enough to get a game in Chicago which is huge we're going to Pittsburgh four games three and four look in the close out this series so stay tuned for that thank you guys for watching and I'm out
