hey guys welcome back to another video so today I'm going to show you how to join a fantasy football league with random people for money so Yahoo has a really easy and simple way to do this so you just have to download the Yahoo app and it's going to look like this so let's click it okay so this is the Yahoo fantasy app and this is what uh it currently looks like and as you can see here I'm in a couple of leagues so I have my uh baseball leagues down here here's a fantasy football league uh Dynasty League that I'm in with some friends and here is uh the Yahoo League that I'm in with a bunch of random people so before I click into there let me show you how to actually join one of these okay so first you can see I am currently signed on and while you're still under the all section you could scroll down uh past everything until you see a section that says uh fantasy football so uh to the right of fantasy football uh click on play okay so the next screen make sure you're still under uh football uh you could do basketball hockey or baseball but we're going to do football for this video so you can see your options down here it says draft now or draft later we're going to click on draft later okay from this screen you're going to scroll down uh if you join this this is going to put you in a fantasy football league but it's not going to be for money if you're looking to play for money uh down here uh it says public prize leagues so pay paid Leagues with cash prizes managed by Yahoo so we're going to click there okay and on this screen uh you can see that you're joining a public prize League number of teams 10 people and you can select your competition level you can select like your entry fee to be $5 entry fee to be uh 20 uh 50 100 or $ 250 500 $1,000 or if you're even feeling more wild go $5,000 so I'm just going to select what you'll likely select assuming you're just starting out a $5 Le so you're going to pay $5 to enter this league you're going to be one of 10 people and you're just going to scroll down here and you can select a draft date so click here just going to show you guys what that looks like you say you want to draft on uh Monday the 2nd of September and then you just click on this Draft date and you select uh whatever date works best for you and then uh down here you're going to click on join so after you click on join it's going to prompt you uh for a payment method for me uh pay was the best way for me to uh pay for my league in addition to cashing out at the end of the season so that is an option for you I do believe you could use a credit card or debit card as well but I'm not too sure since I've only used PayPal to pay for my uh yaho fantasy leagues so after you click on join uh just make sure you open this app on the draft date and at the draft time that you selected you will know your draft positions I do believe around like half an hour before uh the draft actually starts starts so whether you're drafting first second third whatever position that you end up being but it's totally random okay so after you've uh paid for your league and everything like that and after you've drafted uh this is what your uh draft would look like this is a $5 uh Yahoo league so you can just go under your team here uh you can see that the 2024 season is going to be starting in like less than 5 days so very excited about that uh but you can see uh what your record is top here or up here you can see like your team name I have a problem because I'm in so many leagues you can see your projected uh points for the week and you can scroll here so you can see it is a one QB uh two wide receivers two running backs one tight end and one Flex Al Flex is a wide receiver running back or tight end and then you have um how many six six bench players that you'll be Drafting and I do believe you have like two IR slots and you have a kicker and a defense so and it's I do believe it is full PPR scoring uh like one point per uh reception so that was uh the team team tab you go under the matchup tab here and you can see uh this is going to be my matchup for week one as you can see Josh Allen versus stad uh St Brown versus Justin Jefferson a versus nkua these are just like the the best players obviously this is going to count for uh total points scored for your team but this is just how the matchup currently looks under the matchup Tab and then you could also view all matchups in case you're curious so I'm projected for uh 106 my opponent is projected for 107 and scrolling down uh this guy is projected for 106 103 uh 107 101 101 107 106 109 so very concerned about that 109 player and if you really wanted to you could see uh how you're going to be doing like week two what those projections are going to look like so for this one I'm actually projected to win for week two my team is projected to have like 105 over 102 there so there you go you get to see what your opponents are and if you don't like the players you drafted you go over to uh the free agents over here and you could select like here's uh the top projected points for the free agents obviously they're going to be quarterbacks first because uh that's what uh projects the highest so Baker me field is projected for 16 points uh deshun Watson 16 Gino Smith almost 16 uh and you can see uh trending ads here uh people have been adding Seattle defense uh Jason Mason no Jordan Mason uh dvin cook dvin cook because he just signed with Dallas at the time of watching or recording this video you could go through what positions you want as well wide receivers as you can see uh locket still here dos uh Brian Thomas Jr I'm surprised it's still there okay then you go like running back what running backs are still available uh not surprised to see hubard here um Chandler I don't really know uh the running backs as well no Fant is still available here cotton uh FY and then you can select like Flex what Flex is available what kickers are still available what defenses are still available if I wanted to add them I would have to uh drop one of the people on my bench so you could just uh click on ADD and it'll prompt you let me just show you actually so if I wanted to add Seattle defense I just scroll down and select what I would like to drop in exchange for uh taking on Seattle defense I really don't want to pick them up but just showing you that there so this is the league tab again you can just see how everyone is performing in your league right now since the season has start has not started yet everyone is z0 no ties anything like that so I do believe the top three are paid I think first place um gets 25 I think second place might get 10 last place might get five or maybe just top two gets paid uh just read uh what it says under the prize pull section I'll leave in the comment section below the payouts uh for $5 leagues if you decide to join one of those uh but yeah this is how you could play fantasy
