[Music] the New England Patriots dropped a close one in week two of the NFL preseason losing 14-13 to the Philadelphia Eagles the Patriots had the lead for majority of the game thanks to a drake made touchdown Which I'll talk about in just a few moments but then a late game a touchdown and a conversion a two-point conversion gave them the lead Bailey's happppy trying to put them in field goal position to allow them to have the win but a fumble recovered by the Philadelphia Eagles solidified the win in week two so let's go on ahead and jump into some live stats here from the Philadelphia Eagles versus New England Patriots week 2 NFL preseason game obviously the headline here is Drake may he looked like an NFL quarterback not to mention ra modre Stevenson has absolutely shown why the Patriots just secured him for the next four years but the Eagles still not playing really any of their first string anything offense or defense no saquin Barkley no AJ Brown no Devonta Smith no jayen Herz so we obviously got more of a second to four string new uh Philadelphia Eagles but considering they just had a joint practice a few days ago this looked a lot better than what I saw from the Patriots a few days ago when it was finally all said and done they put their p ad on and they played their hardest but before we hop into the live stats breaking down the Patriots offense and defense like a sturdy NFL quarterback he's mobile he's athletic he decides to run maybe even in my opinion more than he needs to there was one play where he only had two seconds in the pocket and the offensive line gave him more than two seconds but he felt maybe his Spidey senses stuck up on the back of his neck that the defense was closing in so he ends up taking it for himself he ended up getting a first down so I'm not mad at it but Drake May has shown he can be mobile and he can also be stable in the pocket and his arm is no joke he made some dime throws downfield the one I'm thinking about is when Jayvon Baker lays out and a perfectly placed football pass but he dropped it when he made contact with the ground he overall went six for 11 not bad at all 47 yards he did have one touchdown when he ended up walking it in himself and he extended his arm flipped it in the air and he made it 10 to3 for majority of this football game Drake May has shown me that he can do what is asked do I think he should still be the starter in week one maybe not but jacobe brette didn't show me that much either I'll talk about that in just a few moments the Patriots offense versus the Eagles in hole 159 yard 14 for 29 in the passing 90 yards 69 yards when it came to the running back and the running back core is deep I do believe Kevin Harris will be the third running back for the New England Patriots but R mandre Stevenson he is that guy Kevin Harris giving us three carries for 16 yards but he's a bowling ball he was falling for it on every single play which I'll never ever be mad at jichael Hasty had one good run in there he had one reception for 23 yards so showcasing his hands not so much his feet on the ground Antonio Gibson ran more so with Drake May than he did with jacobe Bret but he's still also climbing back from an injury so not too much on Antonio Gibson's front but we did see a lot of randrecous and before I jump into jacobe pret stat stats because he ended up going three for seven with 17 total yards and he played an entire first quarter so that's what jobi Bret ended up doing not to mention they were in the Red Zone he tried to throw a pass into the end zone to reach Austin Hooper and it was intercepted so now you've got Bret three for seven for 17 passing yards and one interceptions not going to hold up very well to a touchdown 6 for 11 and 47 yards from Drake May so now having those stats in your mind and I know it is just the preseason and I do still believe jacobe Bret should be the starter for week one for the New England Patriots let dominated with 34 minutes and 36 seconds so the defense however a stat that unfortunately they're not going to show had five sacks on the Patriots excuse me had five sacks on the Eagles offense they were getting them from left and right Dietrich wise you get a sack Keon white you get a sack it was excellent especially when Kenny pick it was in the ball game towards the second quarter is when they really started to harp on there and a couple of players in the sideline had an ingame interview asking judon he's gone now what everybody wished him o wished him well and they're excited for his next
