Cole Palmer deciding to play deep line midfielder because of the way the palace were set up uh that was one that I did not really see coming because of his you know so far under moresa we've seen him so far Advanced and kind of leading uh the line and and parts of of play the way that Palace were set up is essentially like a 541 setup and so they were very wide and very Compact and it was really difficult in the first like 15 20 minutes to figure out how to break them down I think a tactical switch but also just some really intuitive play from Palmer who who you sacrificed a little bit of his own glory to help the team connect play because our Midfield again was completely uh it was left wanting for me personally I would argue was our best midfielder on the day despite that not being his position
