what itch does Broadway scratch for you that TV or other forms of art do not the immediacy of it and I really do feel I mean this has always been true but I think it's even more pronounced in this day and age to be in a room with everybody especially since the pandemic too it's so unique and and it's funny that it's become so unique because it was like the first form of entertainment was to gather around and watch people perform or whatever but there's so many other ways to do that now and so many ways to do it alone with your phone whatever and which all sounds very dirty as I say all that out loud that's not what I meant my mind's in the gutter anyway but I think I do feel it more since the pandemic especially the almost ritual aspect of everyone Gathering Together the lights going out and a story being told it's it's like prehistoric feeling in its own way and and that no other medium has that they all have wonderful things about them but that's unique to the theater good luck tonight did you know Angelina Jolie was walking in behind you when you were walking what' you say um I said it was nice to see her cuz I've seen her and met her before I also said I can't believe it you're here I thought I saw you earlier somewhere today and I thought that's not her and she goes at rehearsal I was like yes you were here so I should trust my eyes from now on
