Well, you heard Bill say there, Texas is hot right now. He meant that figuratively and literally it is hot. Yeah, that's what I focused on too. It is hot, still hot at this hour. Even though we're over 10 degrees cooler than our high. We hit 106 today, thankfully cooler than yesterday's 108. And we'll continue to see those temperatures go down as we head through the 14 day forecast. Now, right now though, it's a hot wind out there, even at 10 o'clock hour, close to 1030 we are looking at temperatures well into the nineties, 93 stints in where it was hotter today. 94 at the San Antonio airport and the dew point continues to creep up as does the humidity as it does overnight, 2.70 humidity at 46%. And it's a little breezy out there too. South southeast winds are at 16. So help give us a little bit of heat relief. Thanks to the wind Del Rio, still sitting there at 101 degrees. 91 Rock Springs, Fredericksburg, Kerrville, Bernie, all 90 Bernie actually just dropped to 8892. In Pleasanton, 91 again, 93 and New Broad falls factor in the humidity. Here's what it really feels like as you step out the door 100 in Gonzalez 100 San Antonio 102, San Marcus Del Rio. Actually cooler than the actual air temperature. 98 because the air is so dry. So it feels cooler than the real temperature. 99 for Pleasanton Hondo at 97 the watches and warnings have expired so no heat advisories or excessive heat warnings tomorrow won't be as hot as today would not be at all. Surprised if the weather service does issue a heat advisory for parts of South Texas. Here is the radar not much to talk about except up to the northern hill country where we do have this batch of showers and some thunderstorms within there too. You see some lightning and that's great going down to the south and west through the northern hill country likely won't hold together overnight. But for now, if you're out that way, keep your eyes out for that. Here's the water vapor imagery, high pressure overhead right now, forcing most of the storm track to the north and east and around us, but that's going to weaken a little bit, dropping the temperatures allowing for a few week disturbances to roll on through over the next few days with light rain chances here we are tomorrow morning at seven o'clock, most of us are dry and cloud free. However, our eastern counties could see an isolated shower, a better chance though. As we head into the afternoon, you'll see some of those clouds roll in further off for the west. You are hotter, more sunshine, further to the east, more clouds, not as hot, a better chance for rain. You see our future radar picking up some heavy stuff there around Hallsville Gonzalez tomorrow afternoon. So we'll have to watch out for that. Basically, if you're in our eastern counties, best chance for rain. Saturday morning here is 7 a.m. as you wake up. If you're getting up early on a Saturday, mostly clear to partly cloudy skies, temperatures in the mid to upper seventies and then by the end of the day, it's mostly sunny and high as well into the nineties. So we should avoid the century mark on Saturday. And hopefully that's it for this year. You'll see a 14 day forecast that looks hot, but just a bunch of nineties for tonight. No nineties. We've got an 81 though, mostly clear skies and muggy southeast winds, 5 to 15 MPH, sunset coming in at 8:06 p.m. tomorrow. So we'll start off pretty warm in the morning by noon at 93 degrees and that high 100. So it is gonna be a hot one notice though. No weather impact alert days. And that's the good news because the heat is fading from 100 tomorrow. We get a nice Saturday 98 Sunday, 10% chance for rain, both Friday and Saturday. And then for next week, Monday through Thursday, we have 20 to 30% of rain chances highs in the mid to upper nineties. And then as we head into the second week of this 14 day forecast into the beginning of September including Labor Day, we are mostly sunny to partly cloudy every day. No chance for measurable rain and high temperatures into the mid to upper nineties. So we're getting back to normal night, but it's going to take a little while.
