darish is back on the mound how exciting is this for the ball Club I mean huge uh I've always loved watching a pitch um it's even better seeing it up close personal and uh yeah it's a it's been a long time so I think the whole team is is very excited for it know you have a nice relationship with you you guys have talked a lot about baseball and shared a lot of things how was it good just personally have him back in the clubhouse and be able to watch him like you're talking about seeing him and Manny prank each other again it's it's been good um even I threw a bullpen and I was wearing the brown Jersey with pinch strip pants and he said how bad I look so it's it's just good to have his humor back here and uh and obviously the leadership that comes along with it aside from RI you a part at time from the pitching side how valuable has it been just to be able to break his brain about stuff I can't say it enough uh I talk about him and Joe um in tandem as two of the best mentors that I that I can have um I think that they're both very different pitchers but I mean darish has pitched for however long and and Joe's in the middle of doing it so it's uh it's been really really good to have both of them as guys to to Mentor me how was exciting is it for you guys going down the final stretch here and really getting all your troops back I mean yeah Joe's been dominating which is really fun to watch um we're again getting our co-ace back um so I I think and then toddy came back the other day so it's uh it's all coming together right now and uh it's going to be a very exciting September and hopefully a Deep Run in October prey personally obviously some untreed Waters in terms of the Innings it's a big topic all season long but you're throwing the ball as well as you have all season long how exciting is it for you to be at this point be contributing the way you are and you know have that Adrenaline Rush going down the stretch playoff time yeah it feels good um I know rubin's basically just been instilling a bunch of confidence in me throughout the whole year um every time I even have a little hiccup it's more of like a hey it's not as bad as it looked and we're going to do this and figure it out and make sure that the next one's even better so um I feel like The Confidence from him the mentorship from darish and and Joe has been uh big for my career and and yeah it's it's going to be a a very fun October I've never start a playoff game so I'm uh hoping to get a bunch of them what beneficial for you to have the extra rest I think push to Friday for this week uh yeah I I think it's one of those where I'll definitely take advantage of it um I'm throwing a second Bullpen this week just to to stay fresh um and then I'm going to take the ball whenever they give me it J M rookie of the month again what more can you say about um definitely not boring because that man is exciting um it's been uh really fun to watch him and I I can't sing his Praises anymore um I think he has been total into like a huge part of our team um but and not only just what you're seeing him produce on the field it's in the locker room and everything that that energy has just been been really fun fanasy football is kind of a Hot Topic this week I'm curious if you play and uh you know if you have any sleepers I am a a huge fantasy football guy um probably my wife doesn't love saying that me saying that cuz Sundays are are for football or Red Zone really um but she's actually I got her in a couple leagues now um so I'm hoping she she's into it as well sleepers I'm a Patriots fan so Jaylen P's my guy uh I think that when Drake May takes over it'll be Jaylen pul really slinging that ball to him you think they'll be the surprising team this year as well no absolutely not they're going to be bad but um I'm still going to hold hope every every game at least he had Brady yeah exactly I had a very good run awesome can you show the name of your Cy team uh kingle Dingle yeah uh so one of my buddies and I guess this is a little inappropriate Tommy Canley on the Yankees he's hilarious called me kingle bear as in dingleberry and it just transformed into kingle Dingle
